Video Part 2 of 2
Rockford Fosgate did a great job on this removable subwoofer drop in kit . You can have all the bass you need when staying local and you can have all your bag space when you travel .
To say that I was impressed would be a understatement.
Rockford has let me down in the past but not this time 👍🏽🙏🏼👏🏼👌🏼
Man thats kinda slick. I wasnt a fan of the price. But it fits what I want. Some bass when I want it but ALL my bag space when I need it! Thanks for the video. Love your channel.
I just bought one of those kits!
Makes it easier for a shop that's not NVS LoL I can't wait to see the wiring rescues when some of the cookie cutters shops get a hold of this kit 😂🤣💯
For real,,,,
Ouch Carlos! Be careful with those keys hanging down when you are holding those beautiful bags. Nice and honest review as always. NVS on top of the game!
Just installed mine, love them!! Thanks Carlos for all the info!
Been running this kit since they released it got it a few days after and I have been on some 2-3 hour rides and it has held up at full volume over a solid hour at a time with no issues! Not really something you benefit from at interstate speeds but when parked these subs are insane and you can feel the bass from 5 feet away! I’m running them at 80htz and about 1/4 turn up on the punch EQ and wow is all I can say!! A bit pricey but you gotta pay to play!
When I heard it yesterday I was most definitely impressed with the setup definitely was a cool setup
I have this kit.... actually the stage 5. I changed the faring speakers to Hertz. Wish I could change out the 6x9s. Got a Rockford DSP...but haven't installed it yet. Good video
Yes sir was waiting for this🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🔥🔥
How does it compare to the SinisterSound 8" speakers in tune ported enclosures.
Could you cut out the hole for 6x9 and use sound deadener for hole to allow a bigger magnet
I've got a 2011 Ultra and I'm putting a Rockford Fosgate 10 inch P2 in my tour pack next week. Using the pbr300x1 and wiring it to 1 ohm. I'll let ya know
Rockford is genius. Unless they have another sub for the 21 CVO’s, the amp is on that side in the bag.
That is some heavy bass be sure to tighten screws up before driving off. Love it
Sounds incredible.
Awesome 🔥🔥💯
You rock
Come on Carlos I know you can figure out a way to make the hertz 6x9 to fit, come on mod this already! Lol No serious if anyone can figure out a way you will.
Do you know if the Hertz 6x9 speakers will fit this Rockford Fogate subwoofer kit correctly?
Can you replace the 8 with another woofer?
Another one from Delaware must be time for me to schedule my upgrades
Trying to convert my 2002 vtx1800 to that where can I start looking at
Can you talk to Rockford fosgate to see if they have plans on sub enclosure for the Indian challenger?
Hey, Carlos. Have you seen any of the new products precision power is releasing soon for Harley. They have a headunit that looks like the GTS.
Let's here it play some heavy bass songs, ac/DC. Or something.
Are you able to play the system with only one sub installed to still use the other bag for storage?
What is Rockford fosgate p/n to fit in sadle with subwoofer?
So I have the Kicker lids instead of a cut in kit. The speaker mounts on top. Do you think a half inch spacer would raise the Hertz Neo enough to clear it?
Hey Carlos, where do you pick up the signal for the subs when NOT running the Rockford plug and play up front
I wonder how long that RF amp is gonna be able to pound with out going into selfprotect mode? not a lot of air space.
I my have missed it, but those are not stock bags correct?
They fit stock bags exactly the same
If you watch part one of my video you can see I text fit it in a stock bag . Rockford also did a full Video of the full install on a stock bag
Did he have to upgrade his battery for this setup I have a 2020 road glide special would my factory battery be OK
Very informative…
Again , great job!
But let me ask , if you customized the hole in the compartment for the sub where the lid closes for the 6x9 , if you cut that , would a bigger magnet for a different 6x9 speaker in the lid fit then?
👊
Lol. I second that comment just for future reference. I'm swapping my rockford 6.5 out as we speak for hertz mpx and if I ever need a 6x9 I'm sure I would like a hertz or diamond on the lids as well if possible!!
Will this setup work with an 8” speaker lid? The 8” speakers sit on top of the lid and not actually down in the lid like 6x9s , is there enough space for a slim 8” speaker?
Can you change the bag lids to accept an 8 inch speaker?
So are does the only speakers you can use
How to you add this using a DSP
What battery are using on this build?
Yo Los … how much do they cost son ..
