Senior Citizenship Card

Medical Insurance Premium amount should decrease for senior citizens. Also medicine prices . Most private hospitals don't give any discount. Adhaar Card should have been mandatory.
In ration, senior citizens should be given Rice, wheat, sugar, cooking oil and one type of pulses, for free.

Insurance companies are rascals, criminals. It is common-sense, they can calculate the age. Before, senior citizens were considered a risk, now senior citizens have good savings and good health. So insurance companies are sucking senior citizens but do not want to give discounts. Same with hospitals. I really doubt what discount they will give as hospitals/insurance companies have corporates.

It is better if the government increases the age limit for senior citizens till 85.
Having paid premium regularly after 65 no company has medical claim policy when it's needed the most.
Railway authority has been stopped senior citizens concession specialities since corona effect. It is not included in special concession list of ailway authority. Please don't misguided the People.
Kar govt has given free travel by govt buses to all people, where as central govt has not given even concession travel to sr. Citizens!
Take care of your health, keep the premium in a separate SB A/c and forget it..! The assurance that you have savings you will never need to call the criminal insurance companies.

For Handicapped Certificate you will have to Visit AIIMS Hospital then there Visit Orthopedic Dr from whom you can get Handicapped Certificate Permanent or Temperary basis as per Handicapped Percentage

Most Senior Citizens who do not have any medical benefits like the Govt & Defense employees have. They are forced to pay hefty medical bills for tests, treatment & medicines. A senior citizen card which will provide a proper 30% discount on medical treatment is essential for senior citizens with no medical benefits. Health insurances are expensive & only apply for hospitalisation.

Please note that as a Indian Citizen we unable to get SCC in tamilnadu. Atleast central government shall take initiatives based on Aadhaar Number through UIDAI and also combined with EPIC based on ECI. Statewise is not at all workable, since its mainly using for central government schemes
Are Overseas Citizens of India, i.e. American citizens holding OCIs eligible for this card?

More than senior citizens, travel concession is needed for unemployed youth. As for shorter queue, I think senior citizens have ample time to wait. Housewives who look after children, kitchen, elders of the family, would be in hurry. They require shorter queue. Senior citizens need lower berths and assured seats in train. They need sitting and token arrangements while waiting in queue. They also need cheap health insurance. Central Government and state government should reduce the burden of GST (18 % to 5%) on health insurances.
Adhar card and other age proof certificates are enough to prove one as senior citizen and by this ways myself enjoying senior citizenship for last 13 th years.

भारत में सीनियर सिटीजन को कोई भी सम्मान नही है, एयरपोर्ट सिक्योरिटी अलग से लाइन नही बनाती हैं, एक्स RAY स्कैनर से छूट नही देते हैं, लंबी कतार में खड़े रखते हैं
Senior Citizens को तो घर के लोग ही सहन नहीं करते।
बैंक system में प्रावधान है की super senior citizens को घर बैठे ही सर्विस मिल सकती है लेकिन हकीकत में बैंक ऐसी सर्विस नही देते।

The fact is Adaharcard is not an authentic document for conforming date of birth (Even for pass port issue it is not consider for DOB) its conformation only Identification of individual.
