Pac went to a performing arts school in Bmore wit Jada. He was brilliant!!! Once he came out Rikers and got wit Suge Knight, his whole attitude changed. He wanted to fulfill his contract under him and bounce. That's why he was cranking out the music so fast. He lived in NYC, Bmore and then Cali. Hard life... but he was the fkn greatest!!❤

@@maxviclomax9327I disagree. Kendrick doesn't have the swagger Tupac had. Tupac had not only rap skills but acting skills and was an activist. Tupac was a poet and gifted actor. Not many rappers can achieve that, especially in such a short time as Tupac with all his achievements done and became a household name by the age of 25. And most notably without any social media or internet because it didn't even exist at the time. And on top of that, damn near 30 years later, even the younger generation as you can see here is listening to his work from the 90's. Now that says a lot!

Y'all need to educate yourselves before speaking on things you don't know about. Pac was born IN JAIL. His mom was a black panther and a crack head and moved them around from city to city chasing the high anyway possible. He went to a school for arts to try and make a legitimate life for himself and the law wouldn't let him. The media and the law attacked him every step of the way. When he moved to Marin county he got in tight with the California crew and was adopted into the street life. He SHOT TWO COPS IN ATLANTA who were in illegal possession of firearms from evidence using them to stick ppl up and were in the middle of shaking down an innocent woman and pac shot them both down. He fought court case after court case. His tours were planned around his court appearances. And in the night he was killed suge whispered in his ear that's the guy that stole one of our chains and without hesitation in front of thousands of ppl stomped out Orlando Anderson. Then later died for it. And his last words rather than saying who did it were " fuck you" to the police. To say pac wasn't thugging is just beyond disrespectful to his legacy. It is beyond cringe this is a rap reaction channel and y'all are so out of tune with real rap and it's history

You gotta understand this whole 'he wasn't a real gangster' mentality shouldn't take away from the message he was preaching. He was an arts kid who became a victim of his reality. This was the truth for many kids back then. I always felt like he leaned into that 'Thug Life' level to pull people out of that struggle, and help shift their mentality. Don't get it twisted though, this is the same man who shot two police officers and got away with it.

    Will Smith?
No, I wouldn't say that Will Smith is a better actor than Morgan Freeman, Louis Gossett Jr, Laurence Fishburne or James Earl Jones... He just happens to be a global star in a time where he can do a lot of cool projects and be famous to an extent that those black men in the past just didn't have the opportunity to.
By the way, you have to watch Gang Related with James Earl Jones, Tupac and James Belushi... Very entertaining movie.

He grew up hard in Baltimore in the ghetto. His mom was a black panther. That’s where he gets his hardcore attitude from. His mom moved him to Marin which is a horrible ghetto in the Oakland area. His mom was hooked on crack also. So he grew up around it. Than he started touring with digital underground and the rest was history. Smart, educated at an arts school but mostly on the streets. A straight THUG. The greatest ever.

2pac wrote situational music for people who were going through what they were going through. A lot of his records and albums are reflected some sort of situation with somebody was on the street living destitute or living with the backup against the wall. I think "Brenda's Got a Baby" was one of his most iconic songs early in his career and possibly his entire one.

This reminds me of talking to my little cousins or seeing people on social media taking stabs at Eminem, Snoop, Ice Cube, Biggie and Tupac. I never understood the amount of people who actually think those guys aren’t top 5 or even 10 all time. These young kids nowadays put The newer rappers on top only because of how recent they are. SMH… and some comments I see on twitter or Facebook just hate on Biggie and Tupac because they have such a short amount of “Hit Songs” like what? That’s what y’all look for when choosing your top rappers of all time?
So sad…. Like, If we got an Album with Tupac, Biggie, Eminem, Jay Z, Nas, Rakim, Cube, Eazy, Kurupt, Snoop and throw in Dr. Dre and Andre 3000 producing it together with 30+ songs, I swear it would probably be hated by a bunch of people still. Shit is confusing fr.

2Pac was born in New York and was there till he was about two years old then his mom moved him out to the bay area in San Francisco. That’s why he screaming west side he grew up out there out to the Bay Area. 2Pac struggled as a kid with a crackhead mom no father and living on the streets, If you listen to his music he grew up around pimps and hustlers because that’s what he was doing out in the streets at age 13, 14 years old he wasn’t a gangbanger per se Crip or blood but he was out there livin That light and continue to live that life into his casket dropped. You can’t talk about the things 2Pac talked about in the way that he does with that much passion and not lived it to some point.. he had no ghost writers and shit thats all him .
