Absolutely. I bought the cds when this dropped...I still have both and some of the songs still play. All the songs are fire, but I could NOT get enough of tracks 1 and 7 from the 1st disk.
I swear, this is the HARDEST song on "All Eyez on Me," not necessarily in lyrical content, but because it gets you UP with that P-Funk/G-Funk, courtesy of Dr. Dre and George Clinton. The way Pac rides this beat... DAAAAAMN.
The writing on this is outstanding. These were the days. Something REAL to ride to. I declare old-school music just gets me way more hyped. Good job on the video! 💗 Here's a suggestion, "Keep Ya Head Up"!
This album is 🔥 👌🏼 I was a 18 year old white girl bopping around in my 85 Oldsmobile Cutlass when this came out and thought I was hot sh!t 😂 So many bangers on that album. He was super charismatic and crisp in his vocals. A true poet. Love this album. 👌🏼
Not the first. Ambitionz of a Ridah was the first. He then did 2 of Amerikaz most wanted, Skandoluos and I Ain’t Made at Cha. Those 4 in the first night!! Crazy.
His song Dear Mama is still one of my favorite songs to this day. I remember buying and listening to this particular cd when I was a sophomore in high school which would have been in 2000 and played it on very low volume so my mom wouldn't hear the cursing. He was an amazing lyricist.
Greatest rapper Ever..! The replay value of his music is beyond any ones..! "Lord Knows", "Thug Style", "Fvck All Y'all", "If I Die Tonight", "Heavy In The Game", "Open Fire", "Definition of a Thug Ni&&a", "Outlaw", "Street Fame", "Hail Mary", "How Do You Want It", "I'm Gettin' Money", "Ambitionz az a Ridah", "Picture Me Rollin", "Still Ballin", "Ghetto Gospel", "Until The End Of Time", "It Ain't Easy", All Eyes On Me", ''Me Against The World", "Do For Love", "Starin' Through My Rear View", "Ready For Whatever", "Hellrazor", "Only Fear Of Death", "Fvck The World", "Nothing But Love", "I'm A Straight Rider", "We Ride"....
I bought this album when I was 15. My first Tupac album and almost all the songs are bangers. He was killed later that year and I can only imagine how many great songs we missed out on.
Love everything 2Pac! His childhood roots and familial connections with the Black Power/Black Panther social justice movements influenced a strong streak of social consciousness in his writing and music and his impoverished upbringing gave his music edginess. His influence has survived him.
The holographic version is great but kinda creepy considering how long he's been gone. He was taken way too soon, imagine what he could have accomplished with all of the new tech plus his skills
I know every word of this (double) album. Pac’s artistry stands out to me even more now than it did when I was 13-16; probably because his energy and flow are stark contrasts to modern hip hop.
PAC’s lyrics hit real hard, explosive. However, everyone who encountered him said he showed mad love, putting anyone on who asked him, very giving, always laughing and having a good time, just amazing human being. I still miss this Black Panther born and raised Warrior King. Rest Easy Warrior 💙❤️
I graduated high school in 1995 and generation X had the best music hands down from hip hop to grunge (Nirvana,STP,Tool,Alice in Chains,Pearl Jam,Soundgarden and the list goes on and on and on)to hard rock. We had the hottest chicks,(Jenny McCarthey,Carmen Electra,Alicia Cuthbert,Jennifer Love Hewitt,Jamie Pressley and the list goes on and on. We have a little old school and new school. We grew up with no cell phones, just pagers,no internet,AOL was out but it was dial up slow and shit. I’m so glad that I grew up during those times. They were the greatest
I cannot tell you how many times I have explained to people the magnitude of magical musical ministry that takes place on this track.. George MFkn Clinton and Tupac…. Then the lyrics.. then the MFkn HORNS in the back … these are PROPHETS on FIRE and they mean BUSINESS right here.
You know that track is fire. Best and lyrics go hard AF. This track is a sleeper. I remember skipping it when I was a kid. Skipped it just to get to the other tracks like shorty wanna be a thug, picture me rollin etc. I didn’t even appreciate this track when I was a teen back then. Now it’s fire.
Best of the best 2pac songs: Definition of a thug nigga - death around the corner - so many tears - starin through my rear view - fuck friendz - violent - hail mary - troublesome 96 - bomb first - to live & die in LA - fuck the world - hellrazor - fuck all yall - 16 on death row
Love this Album.. this was the first album I heard when I got into 90s rap ...🔥🔥🔥... haven’t seen y’all in a while ..nice reaction vid , I was bangin my head right along with you
Run that one mo again. I was around 11 when Pac and his limo visited a liquor store and pay phone in my neighborhood in Van Nuys, California around ‘95. I remember the security guard of the liquor store asking the Korean guy: “you know who that was?” Of course I was just some little kid probably 11 buying candy at the store.
it's great that you learn your history with this song. so much happened around this time, music and real life, east side vs west side. it was ruthless... great music. I was a teenager at this time... awesome times!
Pac was just a real one! This whole album was on another level
Yes....he was not playing with this album. STILL in my rotation.

All Eyes On Me album. Boys...just do the whole album. Every song is a banger...🤷🏾♀
I agree! It's one of the few CDs I still have after 20 years... not that I still have a functioning cd player other than the one in my car.
@@kat1984 lol, right😄
Absolutely. I bought the cds when this dropped...I still have both and some of the songs still play. All the songs are fire, but I could NOT get enough of tracks 1 and 7 from the 1st disk.

“Die like a b*tch when my album hit the streets. N*ggas can’t c me” hits me every time. He was NOT PLAYING when they recorded this.
Tupac is forever a legend. He had so much passion regarding his music. #GOAT 🔥
I swear, this is the HARDEST song on "All Eyez on Me," not necessarily in lyrical content, but because it gets you UP with that P-Funk/G-Funk, courtesy of Dr. Dre and George Clinton. The way Pac rides this beat... DAAAAAMN.
I knew, I knew that music, P-funk music.
And ME!😘😘🙏🏾😉

Pac was on a mission when he recorded this album in 2 weeks. He went straight to the studio after making bail.

THE WHOLE ALBUM IS 🔥🔥🔥
This is the first track Pac recorded for this album after he got out of jail. You can tell he was holding in some heat and unloaded.
Incorrect, Ambitionz Az A Ridah was his first track recorded when released. Its mentioned in quite a few other RUclips videos 👍🏼
Not the first. Ambitionz of a Ridah was the first. He then did 2 of Amerikaz most wanted, Skandoluos and I Ain’t Made at Cha. Those 4 in the first night!! Crazy.
This was his 1st dre track. But Rida was the 1st death row record
2pac= thhe person who helped me got through sht life im 33 n id do anything for him to still be alive

I know every word of this (double) album. Pac’s artistry stands out to me even more now than it did when I was 13-16; probably because his energy and flow are stark contrasts to modern hip hop.

Such incredible memories come with this song. Everyone and their dog bumped this album while driving. Ohhh the good ol days
