I love the timing of the helix updates lol, I was JUST going "man, when are we slated for a new update? been a hot minute since 3.11..." then BAM here ya go 3.15! Definitely going to be making use of the new dynamic reverbs over the legacy ones I have been tending to use!

I'm at 5.13 when updating and it's been like an hour just saying "initializing firmware installation" on laptop and "update message server started" on Helix. This is the first time I've ever done this so hoping it's all good. I've backed it up just before.

Thanks for this video,,again there are things i forget,,just to restore youre presets,,i couldnt find it,,,,its in the HX edit top line in the I mac,,,uffff i start to get sweeeetttt,,but i fix it,,,just because this video remind me☝🏻

what does restoring from backup do? Is that for if you edited or deleted presets and want to keep it that way? What about user presets? Thanks for the video!
Yes...restroing from backup ensures that you retain all the press you either made or purchased!

You automatically get them with the new update
Also, need to update your updater! The old versions wouldn't recognize my helix floor.

I tried following this video same steps but when I turn un my Hx stomp in the latest version of Hx Edit. I doesn’t give me the option to download the new update. I keep clicking check for updates and nothing happen please help! :(
the update doesnt work, i need help plesase. When i turn on my hx stomp it gets freezed in "hx stomp firmware 3.50.0"

Hey Jimmy, i recently got a used Jet Revelation v2 but it has some major static and squealing issues so I'm sending it back. Would you recommend i try my luck with another Revelation or should i go with my second pick of a GFI Specular Tempus?
I would just talk with Junior at JET. I know he had some medical stuff going on so he might be slower than normal catching back up, but he's a solid dude to work with and will get you squared away. I like the REV more than the GFI. The temps has delay too tho...so take that into account

I did all of this trying to update to 3.70 and now HX Edit shows "no device connected". Then when I open Line 6 Updater the screen that asks me to select connected device doesn't show any devices to select. I tried uninstalling / reinstalling everything and ended up stranded on the same island. I'm running windows 7 , 64 bit that until now was more than enough for HX Edit to work with. And trying to update firmware only got me to "widows cannot open this file"
So I’m in a dilemma, one of the pins for the usb B in the hx stomp is bent/broken so I cannot update . Does anyone know if you can update using the midi ins and outs instead? I’m past the warranty so I doubt I can do anything about it. I know it’s a known issue happening to a lot of of people, but I was wondering if anyone has tried it or is that not possible?
Man, sorry to hear that. I'm pretty sure midi won't work that way. May just need to send it in to get repaired
