you could do that but its really just a hole left from the casting process. They originally came with a grommet just to seal the hole and keep dirt and junk out of the casting, there is a bolt inside of there that could rust as well if moisture accumulates inside as well.

That hole in the aluminum casting right next to the selector switch is for a rubber grommet to run wires in.

Great series of videos James. I was curious is there no fix for the bottom wheel wobble.
Thanks Jay. I think the wheel itself is slightly buckled. It doesn't seem to be a problem though when cutting.
