Been a cosmetologist for 9 years and I’m ready to get into lash extensions 😉 I’m super pumped and ready to get started. The board said I don’t need more certificates but just learn on the fly or on the job etc so here I am on RUclips getting all the extra needed tips and tricks and I’m ready to get started 🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊 I wish everyone well! 💋
I gave birth to my baby three month from now and i really wanna start something to make fast money. I'm a make-up artist so it will be easier to start it. Wish me luck
THANK YOU! For mentioning that there are different regulations in every state for being able to do this! As a new Esthetician I get annoyed that people don't let their audience know that in most places the only way to lash is by becoming licensed cosmetologist or esthetician. Not just taking a 1 or 2 day course and going at it.
This is interesting I also live in cali in LA to be more specific and I see all these girls taking 1-2 day lash courses and become a lash tech and start working on people from their home or rent a space I'm wondering if that's okay ?
Currently lashing as we speak LOL I specialize in advanced volume but this whole lashing thing came after doing hair for 10 years and it being such a huge demand. I’ve been lashing for over a year and I just opened up my own storefront woohooooooo I live in Maryland so lashing isn’t regulated here which is insane to me. I love watching your progress!! You go girl ❤️
So awesome! Awaiting esthetician school, then off to lash training! Can’t wait. Your video is very helpful, love the decor and how elaborately you explained everything.
I took a class for eyelashes I was debating about it because I wanted to try it to see if I’ll like it and I did and now I’m about to go get my license Esthetician .
ive been following since the beginning! I love how much you grown. I am also a hairstylist /colorist, I've been for a year now. I am looking into doing lash extensions too but do you think its too soon to learn lashes? should I focus on perfecting hair before bringing in new services?
This was perfect timing I wanted to sign up for a 2 day course that I saw online out here in New Jersey. I’m still gonna take the class. There’s lots of things I see you have that I can def take away from this video. 😊
So happy you educated us on all the info in this because I would love to get certified after I get my license, thank you so much Sam and once again you look fabulous 🙌🏻😁
i love how informative your video is! and have inspired me even more to persue my dream as an eyelash technician! thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! I'm new to your channel ! can wait to see more of your videos!
Wow this video came in just in time I’ve been doing some re search on taking a class for this and here I am listening to all the tips you have thank you Sam 💕
Would you mind filming a video showing us the individual items in your goody bags? So we can see what you like to use and recommend. Will you also show the layout for your punch cards?
I’m new to the channel too thank you for all the information .. lI’m a cosmetologist I want my own lash lounge .. any on line courses you recommend? Thank you again 💜
I am in PA very close to west Chester... I’m a certified Norvell spray tech, but really really wanted to start doing lashes too... so I guess you answered my question that I have to go back and take an Esthetician class. And. Not one specifically for lashes😩 I don’t really have the time to do all that would I’d probably take like 6 months to complete it if I went part time. That kinda stinks, but would be more beneficial to have in the long run. Great channel btw🥰 thanks for the info!
Nicole Saulino same! I’m a norvell spray tech and I have a lash class coming up! I’m also a cosmetologist so I already have that covered but getting your Esti license is around 6 months and worth it especially if you wanna deal with stuff on the face. You can do facials and learn more about make up and add lashes to that :)
Hey hun the key is to get your legs under the client and sit with a straight back not hunched over. I also swear by reformer pilates for stretching me back out. X

west chester pa I cant believe it so close to me it only takes me 30 minutes I would like to go even thou i havent do hair for years im kind of scare i wanna go back to the salon
Omg. I loved this video. Very very helpful. Love your voice. Haha. I genuinely love to make ppl feel beautiful. Curious. What is in your goodie bag. So cute!
Thank you! I put a small container of baby shampoo, an eyeshadow brush, a mascara wand, an aftercare instructions card, my business card, and a loyalty punch card.
I would really like to see your lounge lash bed. What it looks like under the blanket. I’m shopping for something right now and do not want a flat bed. 😊
Love your video.. I’m a licensed Cosmetologist for 30+ years but, I haven’t practiced the trade for quite awhile, I do keep my cosmetology license current. I’m 55 and would love to become a eyelash technician. I’m a stay at home Mimi, watching my grandchildren but I miss the social world. What are your thoughts on starting something like this at 55.. I live about 30 minutes out from West Chester, I’m from the Allentown area.
I heard another tech say that she used to use a chaise lounge but she asked her clients and they said it killed their backs because of the gap in the lower back that doesn’t rest against it fully and they were just in pain the whole time and not saying anything 😭😭
Thank you for that great informational video! That was great, I will be following you! What do you think of taking the fixe beauty on line...lash boss???
Hi,what do you think of starting at home before opening a space to work at?im in Maryland and you don't need a license here for lash im so glad of this.
I hope this isn't too creepy but your voice is so soothing. Also I have literally been binging your channel. I am going to cosmetology school this fall and im so nervous and so excited! Every time I watch one of your videos I just get even more excited to become a licensed cosmetologist!
I want to go to school for eyelashes but not go to a lengthy cosmetology class about about cutting and dying hair 😭 wtf waste of time srry not your fault great info video thanks
You don't have to... you can get an esthetics license instead! That takes a third of the time and just focuses on skin, which I think is really relevant and important to know if you're going to do lashes.
booth rental is illegal in pennsylvania? that's so weird! i live in ohio so im pretty much next to you and there's so many booth rentals here! that's actually where I interned at in beauty school
I’ve literally watched you since starting cosmetology school. I’m also an cosmetologist and want to eventually specialize in extensions. Tape ins, micro links, clip ins etc. My question is, how do you balance both a cosmetologist and lash tech as far as scheduling? Do you love one better then the other? Also could you make an organized/ balancing both video! Thank you so much.
Quannye Quannye I like hair more and have been prioritizing that more lately. So what I’ve been doing in order to cut back on doing lashes to allow more time in my schedule for hair is not accepting new lash clients anymore. I removed full sets from our online scheduling system and only make it public once one of my regular lash clients decides to stop getting them done. You could also split your schedule up and do certain services on certain days! That’s something that I’m considering doing in the future. ❤️
The splitting up the days was something I was thinking as well. I don’t want to get bored only specializing in just hair extensions. Thank you for the advice
How do you separate your businesses for hair and lashes? Are you in the salon for most of the week and designated certain days for lashes only? I’m getting into this but I’m thinking it might be complicated
I do lashes and hair at the same salon, so it's never really been an issue. You just have to be aware of your schedule, and if it gets to a point where one service is starting to take over, then it's time stop taking new clients or limit the amount of new clients you take on (which is what I eventually did for lashes). You definitely could do separate days if that's what works for you though!
LASHCREATIVE Meraki doesn’t exist anymore. The company owners went separate ways a few months after I made this video. Cammy Nguyen (the creator of Meraki) has her own line now under her name that I’ve heard great things about, but I haven’t tried myself yet. But I’ve been getting everything from Lashbox LA for several months now and highly recommend them!
I want to drop out of college to get my esthetician license and start lashing but I am so scared. I’m currently trying to get into nursing but I’m not passionate about it. I worry then I don’t have room to explore anymore though since I have two kids. Advice?
I think you should just drop out especially if you’re not passionate about nursing cuz you would have waisted all that time just to hate what you’re doing
I love this video! You're super detailed. I love how you explained the purpose of different items you have & how you organize them. It makes so much sense! Love the room too ❤️

Less than 1,000?? Whaaat most of these courses I’m coming across are 1,400 up to 1,199 for a three day class 😭
Wooww i did it for like 200£ in the UK which is around $300 $350
The one I came across is 1 day for 1000 😭 like wtf

I want to provide an eyelash extension service, but I’m a straight male, I’m wondering if this will stunt the growth of my business
Do it. I think it’s cool when guys are interested in stuff like this
I feel like men have patience when it comes to “beauty”

My state doesn’t require a license and I’m still taking classes. I see many people just winging it all because a license isn’t needed
Diamond you Are lucky I’m in Cali and I didn’t know that until afteR
Michelle Williams that’s why most lash courses require a license for you to take the classes. All requires where you live
This is interesting I also live in cali in LA to be more specific and I see all these girls taking 1-2 day lash courses and become a lash tech and start working on people from their home or rent a space I'm wondering if that's okay ?
Barbee Guzman I’m pretty sure you need to be licensed in the state of California

Una liscencia no te hace mas profesional, la que es profesional en sus sets lo ara sin o con liscencia, la práctica hace al maestro

In NJ you need an esthetician license, I got my lash certification and now I’m taking a skin care program so I can get a license.
What do you put in the goodie bag for the clients? That’s an awesome idea!
