- The threat of an asteroid strike is a very real danger in our solar system. Mankind is now in a position to defend the planet from such an eventuality.
Although Hubble Telescope remains active 30 years later, NASA decided it was time to create a brand new telescope, capable of uncovering even more mysteries surrounding the universe.

What hope is there when ,out of 16 comments, 2 are complaining, 3 are claiming some sort of prize for commenting early and another 3 dont believe in telescopes or science? We are all f##$ed
True. A wise man once sead --> quote " no men, no problems."
I see what you mean, some people eh?
We can dream don't worry bro..
We are the hope
The human race is doomed and we deserve it.
“Absence of Evidence does not mean Evidence of Absence”, an old quote by Dr Carl Sagan, means, in a very simple term, that, if there is lack of evidence of presence of a thing, does not always conclude to the absence of that thing totally.
That apples to BOTH arguments. By the way, my criticism is with the people who steadfastly believe life originated elsewhere and got here on space debris, not with the idea itself.
One major problem these other worlders have never solved is the fact that meteors are super-heated as they enter the atmosphere and would burn up any organic molecules. Then the concoct some implausible scenario about how an organic molecule might survive the heat. By the time they are done they have come up with some tortuous explanation when a much simpler one exists. Life began here.
It's amazing how they can hit the target in space... so crazy! Awesome people ❤
Thanks!
Muy interesante gracias 👍🙌🙌👋🇦🇷
Cool videos. Love real human ingenuity and science 🛰️
Thank you D news
A shoddy effort in every way.
Someone ruined your video by putting some really terrible, absolutely dreadful, horrible disco be bop music over the top of it! At FAR too high a volume!

Caught in the Orbit of Uranus.
Wait? This video was released 11 hours ago. The narrator says the JWST will be launched in 2018. Hello? It's 2023 this is a 5 year old video. JWST has revealed a lot since this video was made.
Wonderful documentary ❤️

Love science but please! Get a good translator
It’s time for NASA to get real about dealing with asteroids that pose a threat to earth. We must develop the means to either push them away, or completely annihilate them. Let’s go! Get it done, now!
NASA has been operating for 64 years. And how many of our basic problems the solved ? Food, Pollution, Corruption, Housing etc. ?
Nasa is not here to ssolve the problems you listed. But i agree those are real problems, wich are a plage made by humanity. Do not worry when humanity dies those problems will to. No men, no problems.
Wtf you think NASA is as an organisation to deal with corruption and housing problems😅😅

Sorry to tell ya but the bible tells us where life began.
Gg
Carbon based life began and will end on Earth. Vain imaginations will pop in an angry hissing.
You seem pretty sure of yourself. Do you have some facts to back that up?
@@australien6611 yup, it's called the bible. I know, I know you'll tell me it's just a fairy tale.
"Where life began?!" It began right here on Earth! I don't know what is wrong with people who want to believe that life began somewhere in space and was transported here to Earth. That only pushes the question back because there is no explanation of how life began out in space. 😈👿💩
"You don't know what is wrong with people who want to believe.. "?
Well they have their beliefs, just like you have yours. You don't know for a fact life started here anymore than anyone else "knows" it started somewhere else. At least their minds are still open , yours is convinced its right and firmly closed. Whos worse?
@@australien6611 They are of course. Assuming life started somewhere else does not solve the problem of how it started, it just shifts the question to somewhere else. Also, there is no reason to think that life was more likely to have started somewhere in space than right here on Earth.
Also, you don't know me nor anything about me so don't make assumptions and keep your snotty remarks to yourself!
Some care some dont so what do or dont or try to force opinions & get mad when you cant stay bless folks it dont matter wither way... Just saying
@@australien6611 Believe? Sounds like you are bordering on religion and not science, so I'll buy into your idea. How about This? God created life in space and sent it to Earth. Based on what you just wrote, you have no grounds on which to criticize what I BELIEVE, and it is every bit as plausible as what you believe since neither have any evidence.
@@wayneyadams so its been eating you up for a whole day and thats all you come up with? Your 1st comment you are 100% positive life began here, then you completely contradict yourself and say it began out there? You don't even know what you believe...
What a waste of money on a pointless egotistical mission !
Lets not feed or house homeless or sick or elderly for $10BIL smh
Stupid comment of the year
There is no deep space telescope 🔭
And the earth is flat, right?
