I think it's the stunt people that don't give a dang... but cheers to redbull for sponsoring them. It's rare but I like... liking a company. Just sucks so many times they do not care back... I yearn for a world that companies care as the customer does unto them. For a product, refined and durable, for a food with flavor and consistency, or a service that is always thorough, mature, and never cuts a corner or overlooks a crack. Please be a spectator in this dream with me. The customer, more than satisfied, slowly halts all complaints. They confide in companies, but a "company" stops to be the defining term, not in the mind's eye of the consumer now. To them, it is a group. A group that cares, a group aiming to satisfy and beyond. For their labor, the customer rewards them, praises them, recommends them, and gives nothing but loyalty. Furthermore, the company, receptive and grateful for such loyalty, rewards back with fun and creative systems, goodies, merchandise, and discounts. Here, there is happiness. In this dream, a joyous and fruitful world emerges from the muck of the previous centuries. Greed now lies only in the hearts of buried ones. Gone from the daily conscious, remaining only in once was. Texts describe it well, yet the recipient of the information can not fathom. To them, existing in the world now, it see there is no place fit for it. Not only do these new earth walkers live in the consumer's paradise, but places of employment now seek to hire those who possess a certain skill, a skill in humanity. This was greeds end, and a start on the path to true capital gain. The best path. To care for the customer is to maintain the customer's care for you. Pay is more than the compensation of labor as well, which culminated into a cycle that sustained apon good treatment. Standards are high, but loyalty as an employee and dedication see the employed treated, perhaps even pampered to a degree. To those who lived in times past, "pamper" would be quite the understatement i suppose. The cycle of treating well to be well treated extended to many facets of life. Even if there are blunders and struggles, the economy as a whole began to move in unison. Those who had once struggled to find work began to reap the benefits just by holding on. It started slowly, but companies and corporations saw the value in the once labeled, "valueless." Those without homes, who struggled with abuse, who trifled through life are valuable now. Though money was and still is the goal to dwindling degrees, the tipping point was inevitable. It wasn't long before even these folk were treated to help, to relief. Handed a rope, but not bound by one. Many of the retired successes carry stories from the ones before them. They describe what was the "best" way to reach riches. It all sounds so foolish now. How they could not have seen it seems laughable, but it was always seeds of greed that marked their downfall. They grew spiked and jagged, thick and dense. The real path, i understand now, was closed to them. It was the machete, the hatchet of new times and new ways that carved the path to true success now. The reason the needy were helped was because the generations after benefitted so heavily, that many of those problems faded into obscurity, which faded eventually into an inability to even understand the actions and attitudes of the past. Even the first generations began to share the same warmth to the backers of their salvation. But again, and the difference between now and then, was the elimination of conditions. The rock we enhabit was all we had, at least at first. Needs were understood, then so too was the means of solution. A great understanding. It was The Great Understanding. The human condition. And what lattice work we build now. We form new structures, new ideas, new products. New cities, new planets, new factories. Pay to be payed is the prevailing mindset, but the time is closing in on us now. The time that show there lie another tipping point on the horizon. Over that waterfall, and down its shimmering curtain is a new world again. I do not know what waits behind that vail, but it sounds like we're in for the thrill of a lifetime. Technologies we don't understand, transitions of being even that those of then, may compare us to the ones we were before. In that sense, it is repeticious. But new it will be, and blissful too. And though it is beyond my comprehension, such worlds beyond my short reach in time, I know this. We will never stop. We are, we use, we build. We will face new challenges, cross boundaries in space and time, bridge gaps in knowledge and spirituality. And through it all, man's greatest achievement, and the argued and debated spark of The Great Understanding, was the strict code upheld by generations that the price of an Arizona Iced Tea beverage stay at no more than .99 units, forever and always. And blessed we are for this.
