More than likely collabs will be easier, she probably doesn't need to wait to be approved for collabs with other members after her redebut.
For example, Haachama's computer recently broke and she ran to Matsuri's house to stream. AZKi would be able to get that close to others members now.
The one I'm waiting for is the vsigner collab with her and IRyS. It would be amazing to see them on stage together even with CardboardRyS.
The title of Cover’s official press release on AZKi’s debut date (Nov 15 2018) was “Debut of ‘Virtual Diva AZKi’ - the New Music Project presented by Cover” and the subtitle was “Original songs will be released continuously since Dec 2018 for 8 months. Diva Vtuber for complete Real Artist Route is born.”
AZKi released 8 original songs and 17 cover songs in first half year! She held her 1st public live concert (Suisei was the guest singer) on May 19 2019. She announced the establishment of INNK and Suisei’s join as a member of Cover and INNK during live. AZKi has already released 12 original solo songs and held 2 public live concerts in the 8-month project mentioned by press release. Before her anniversary of debut, she has held 3 public live concerts and released her 1st album (Nov 12 2019). She held 4 public live concerts in 2019. Undoutedly, INNK did a really good job.
I think these productive music activities are what Suisei mentioned things could only be done by INNK. Unfortunately, “Real Artist Route” in 2020 is really difficult (we all know the reason). AZKi told us that the end of AZKi Project was originally scheduled in July 2022 but she chose to turn into “Route Beta” in April 2021. However the retirement of Tsuranimizu (Chief of INNK Music) will terminate INNK and transfer affiliation of AZKi to Hololive agency.
As we know, AZKi has been focusing on music than game streaming since her debut. If she wants to do game stream, I think it will take time for AZKi to adapt to game stream. I hope she will get more support from viewers in 2022.

As the press release mentioned, INNK Music Project will be terminated. Tsuranimizu (Chief of INNK Music) will retire as my manager and producer.
Though the end of AZKi Project was originally scheduled in July 2022 and route β was also announced on Apr 11 2021. I’m very sorry about this before I could continue doing my best in activities. Although it’s decided by Tsuranimizu himself, the truth is he feels very disappointed.

This time, I’m the initiator (to terminate INNK and affiliate AZKi to Hololive). Because I found myself become a bottleneck of the expansion of AZKi’s activities.

As the title I wrote, it’s the end of my dream. A quiet morning will come, so will a rushing day. I'm sure that the night of drinking with friends will come and so will a new dream.

In the end, I feel that even though AZKI managed to have more music done with INNK than if she was in Hololive, her music would have reached more people if she was in Hololive proper. That’s basically what every artist wants right? For their music to be heard and touch people.
Plus it probably felt very lonely/stressful being the only person under the INNK label.

It feels more like a merge than closure. Probably because Hololive is already doing a lot of music stuff Cover is reorganizing.

It certainly does seem like Hololive's music production side got to a point where there was very little need for Cover to have a separate music division. The staff and assets that were being used by INNK most likely will just be reassigned to Hololive's music department.

Suisei really is superhuman. All the streaming and still constantly pumps out songs as one of Hololive's top singers.
If you look at the weekly charts that Hololive Songs posts here on RUclips every week, she is constantly at the top of numbers of songs in the top 50 and top 10 respectively. Only Calli is even close (Calli often gets more clicks on the top entries, but has fewer).
The only other Holomem that is on the same productive level as Sui-chan is Watame, she produces covers and originals left and right while still streaming nonstop.
It sucks that Ennglish viewers are not exposed much to her music, but she seriously slaps!
Those chart are a bit unreliable as its just a youtube popularity contest.

@@QuanNguyen-hu2rs yea, tbh her streaming is also crazy, almost as many as miko's actually. And also her song covers. Maybe it's because watame comes later than suisei? Most of the time I asked my friend who didnt know vtuber at all, they only know peko and suisei. Because they're just so popular outside being a vtuber. Peko with comedy, sui with her unique song.

Sometimes it's not for the best to giving the artist 100% creative freedom. But, I hope AZKi can do it, after all she has 3 years worth of experience already working with various producers, songwriters, etc. Not to mention, she will also be getting help from fellow Holomen.

AZKi will be transferred from a "label" to "agency". While working under an agency is indeed more liberating, consequently you will lose some of benefits of working under label, mainly about money.
Now, the common practice of a label is that they will fully support the artist when they are recording song, including songwriting. Meaning that the artist dont have to spend money on production as the label would provide all of the essentials.
Agency on the other hand, did not provide such things. They do still provide support in marketing, but not production, which mean, if it follows the common practice, all the fees of songs that AZKi gonna produce moving forward, whether an original song or cover song, will be from her own pocket, including finding producers, composers, mixers, etc.
So, yeah, this is a BIG decision by AZKi. But I am sure Hololive will provide her support and of course all the Holomens as well. As Suisei said, I'm sure she'll be fine and nothing significant will change in AZKi's activites moving forward. I'm looking forward for her gaming stream.

It seems like an absolute win.
At the very least she still has connections to a lot of the production crew she used to work with, as I'm sure they are maintaining relationships with them. And Cover also has their own contacts to help their talents get the resources they need to do what they want. Cover/Hololive may not provide production costs, but I doubt they wouldn't assist in at least contacting production staff.

I can see the plot: AZKi first day in Hololive.
She opens the door but sees random crazy things in the office..& closes the door. She checks the plaque to confirm whether is it another office but it is Hololive. She opens the door again & gets pressured by Miko before Suisei smacks Miko's head. Another chaotic scene breaks loose & it fears AZKi..& then suddenly a katana flies & it's stuck on the wall..with a dead fly on the end of it. Everybody become silent & scared because it was Sora the one throwing it (although her intention was killing the fly so it didn't ruin AZKi's 1st day). AZKi is happy to see Sora & the other girls are stunned that the new girl is actually good friends with the Goddess.
She already appeared in one (not really a HoloGra episode more like a short, its in the website where the concert thing is located) she's with Sora in it

I hope this will eventually translates well to AZKi's reach in RUclips (although I must add that she has a significant reach outside of traditional Hololive fanbase as well). While Hololive has already churned significant amount of original music lately, under INNK AZKi has produced insane amount of music. She has like 30++ original songs, maybe 40++ if we add collaboration and OST, and even more if we count cover songs. However most people might only know Inochi and/or her Azur Lane songs -- there are many other songs that are really great to listen to. Would be wonderful if people finally noticed them and gave them a go as there are a lot of MVs that hasn't even reached 100k views.
For those who don't know the inonaka music project was build from the start with a deadline in place. This is nothing surprising for Azki. Just check the holotalk.
Would love azki to be like how irys is managed, not directly too focused on music but its being still the main focus! hopefully we see more streams of her playing and with other members and get more recognized in the music industry, like how suisei was introduced.
though this is bittersweet, I feel it is a bit of a relief as Azki always felt kinda isolated from the others due to this circumstance, but with this transfer I hope to see more collabs with Azki, definitely want to see some singing collabs with many of the musical members like Suisei and her vsinger kohai Irys

Well the fact that suisei could do concerts and release music no longer under innk music is amazing on its own considering she joined through joining innk but innk couldnt handle 2 talents but again its amazing because suisei really wanted to make songs.

I do really hope that we can see AZKi organize and host another "V-Musician" MV Marathon like the one's she had shared in the past. I feel AZKi is integral, opening a door for both independent and organized musicians to share their art and sounds, while simultaneously offering a window to us viewers (especially overseas viewers) to glimpse and listen into the wide world that is 'V-Music'. So many spectacular low view/sub artists that I've discovered, and all thanks to AZKi and the organizers for exposing us to their sounds!
Seems like she was holding her feelings about it back. The only thing I know about INoNaka music is Suesei felt like she was held back by it and they weren't really helpingor even letting her really do anything. Maybe they've changed since then and maybe AZKi liked it there but I can't really see this as anything but positive and I think AZKi will definitely benefit with the fanbase hololive has

Well don't know if it's only me but at some point i felt like she was a bit proud about that, in the end they didn't believe in her so much and, when she understood that, she joined hololive and worked damn hard for realize her dream, now she had a great 2021 with her songs at top of lot of charts and Innk will be closed, put her 50 cent on herself was a great choice in the end, happy about that cause Sui-chan song are the best for my taste like Towa ones. Think nothing will change for Azki, think Hololive will not abandon her hope that too for her fans.

Suisei says that she focuses on streaming a lot with 4 to 5 streams a week. that said, shes still probably the hololive idol to releases the most songs and covers, I gotta commed her work ethic
She and Subaru are the ones that pour 120% in their idol activities. While the others pour 100%, Suisei and Subaru always go beyond what we expect.

i think the catalyst of change in hololive is suisei joining, tow joining, and calli joining. those 3 are very passionate about music production and it pushed the hololive main branch to become more music oriented. with all talents getting original songs and such.
It's also because their partner company in innk went under so they decided to let azki in hololive

Im curious if the difference will be is which pocket will the money come from when producing music. Since Inonaka Music is specifically a music production, AzKi is paid to make her music. Under Hololive, it is known that if you want to make your own original music, you will have to pay it yourself.

Man I really want to see more Azki because I know pretty much nothing about her. I hope she turns into an IRyS situation where while she's kind of "alone" generation wise, she still find a place fitting with her and interacts with the other girls alot.
I think that's the one thing that will change, and for the better. She'll be more free to stream as she likes, so we'll get more chances to get to know her better. As for being 'alone', she'll just be another gen 0, but for real this time. They'll finally get the chance to get to know her better too.

What interesting for me is will azki change her method on streaming ? People keep saying that AZKi will be have the freedom and can as successful as Sui chan, as Suichan state she got promotion from streaming etc, i think most of holofans came for the vtuber first amd the music stuff later which is in AZKi case is not profiting her, and now after probably loosing the backing from innk music she need to find other way to fund her Musical activity which is make me feel bad for her, but there must be a reason for her to still continue when she can just ended everything along with INNK music disbandment

INNK music was only formed to support a Vsinger like Azki through live shows and has a plan to shut down from the start.. however this doesn't happen due to pandemic and also Azki wants to continue for her fans.. you can find this on kiara's holotalk with Azki... another info: azki's alt acc is still active..
She will be fine, case in point, Suisei who originally from INNK to make music while streaming normally can still do both, she really worked hard for that but since the main Hololive and Cover corps have no shortage of producer composer and sound engineer, making a music is easier. Heck, even the talents themselves have inadvertently hiring music production people outside of hololive, the ID girls even introduced Redshift, Tokyo Terrace MP and independent music producer like Jay to get scouted by Hololive and formed an official contract.
Azki officially joining Hololive main office after INNK will feel right at home since nothing is really changed and if she felt the difficulty of making music or just streaming in general there's many of her Holo talents that can help her out, ESPECIALLY Sora since the two are close friends since the day they make first collaboration.

I haven't seen much of Azki doing anything other than singing, but I did watch a stream where she played minecraft with Sora and I thought she was awesome. I dont doubt at all that she can be a successful and versatile Hololive streamer.

I think its fine to AZkI now has a little more freedom of choises as well. As Suisei said, it doesn't need to be a "now she can had more streams", since AZKI will probably still focus on music stuffs as well. On other hand i still hope to see both AZKi and IRyS has a little more interaction due this since both projects are similar in conception but under diferent direction (one under INNK and the other under Cover and Hololive officially, and Holo EN as an extra layer on top).
I wonder if AZKi has chances to sing more. I have no idea about INNK Music, but I know Hololive members have to chip in their own earnings to make music and MV.

Yep, hopefully the fans can keep the difference between a vsinger and a vtuber in mind. There have been some weird opinions expressed about this by some that compared AZKi to IRyS as if they had to be the same so I guess a reminder is a good idea. Because they don't have to be the same. Each of the talents gets to pick what they want to focus on anyway and that's fine.

I've been kinda suspecting this since last year with the whole stuff about upd8, surprised it took this long. I was wondering if she would leave hololive or work more on her doujin stuff but happy to hear she'll be staying.
i dont really know much about inonaka but i personally find it weird that in 2 years they didnt get any new members(except suisei) in that group and this doesnt really come as a surprise to me if im being honest
having a whole different group with just one person in it feels very alienating and strange
there is a part of me that is relieved that azki wil now be officially part of hololive and another part of me that wanted to see inonaka grow into something bigger, with more members that share the same goals and interest as azki
Inonaka was set up specifically for azki and azki alone, it was something that came about in order to get the v.a. they wanted to agree to become azki. cover tried to shoehorn suisei in and gave thought to having it become more like you wanted, but that didn't work out due to money/manpower/split ownership.

Inonaka music really have little use existing if their artist only consist of Azki and Hololive is also doing music events like Aqua and Sora many solo concerts and events.
I don't think it will be much of a difference for us viewers. If anything, that will mean she'll do collabs with other holomems more frequently.
The biggest change will definetely be for her, since she'll have a different management, different rules, different contract, different expenses and issues, and very likely a different schedule as well.
She'll need time to adapt, and it could be stressful for her at the start. But I'm sure other holomems, especially Suisei, will help her.
I haven't been following this story and I don't know how other people feel about this, but I don't think it's that big a deal especially since we still get to hear AZKI sing and stream and etc. but I am curious. Why is it closing? Is it just under performing? or Cover just doesn't see the need for it when they have Hololive? or whatever.
I guess yeah, it is kinda redundant to have INNK as the music production side when Hololive proper is now doing music production in a variety of genres.

Let's be real, Higher management in Cover looked at Hololive and INNK Music and asked why they have two parts of the company essentially doing the same thing
INNK Music was collab music label between Cover & Upd8 (the creators of Kizuna AI) which was originally created to facilitate music oriented projects in their formative years, then at the end of Dec. 2020 Upd8 suddenly went defunct which left INNK in an awkward situation, that was when they originally decided to shutter it with plans to have AZKi graduate after fulfilling her contract since by then they had finally found their footing with Hololive however, there was alternate plan (known as Route B) where instead she becomes apart of Hololive after INNK's closing which of course is thankfully what's happening now.
I've always wondered what the deal was with INNK. They're supposed to be specialized in music but clearly they were either lacking in resources or expertise since Sui-chan felt like she had to leave to continue with her music.
And despite being entrusted with a talent like AZKi, her music career had been quite lackluster when compared to some of the heavy hitting chart toppers of Hololive like Calli and Suisei. Both of whom pretty much function like independent artists in that they have to find their own way to produce their music. On the other hand, AZKi had the full support of INNK but only managed to garner a limited core fanbase with no notable achievements after all this time.
Exactly the reason why I am an open critic to INNK Music. You just can’t help but question their necessity.
Suisei’s treatment that made her leave and AZKi’s career is a testament as to how ineffective INNK music was. They’re supposed to be the Music focused arm of Cover yet the streamers of Hololive talents produce more Original songs and song covers on their own using their own pocket money.
I had a feeling that INNK would soon be obsolete when EN’s Vsinger IRyS was introduced and she wasn’t under INNK. It was the final nail in the coffin that Cover and Hololive can function without INNK.
Suisei did essentially explain indirectly why it wasn't as successful. Suisei garnered an audience through streaming, which helped bolster her viewers for her songs (also her hard path to fame and success which the fans love). but same with calli. the streaming aspect helps to have a massive audience that singing alone wouldn't bring.
Making music videos is very expensive for Holomems though, especially covers. And it's not like being in Hololive is free success for your music either.
