Good video, in one way the more original decks are more fun but these more conventional decks have there merit too as I see I am missing som finer details you pull off that ive never thought off (and som fairly obvious ones that im just too stupid to see lol).
In your opinion do you think Harald is better in warrior decks than sove? I usually play the same deck as you have here just with a few changes and I love it! Especially after tyr got he's "buff" 😂 but I see most opponents with sove and I get the tempo idea, just curious what you think and why?
I think both are good. You'd probably want a 2nd Freya's Blessing if there's no Harald to revive, but that's easy enough to fit. My reason to not pick Sove is to allow for more distributed uses of the leader charges to enable Bloodthirst, especially Abordage, and not have to worry about setting up damaged units for him. Both work though and the deck is perfectly capable of killing a beast pulled by Sove if the opponent doesn't purify it.
is king bran really all that worth it for 11 provisions? how many points does he nornally play for compared to provisions including the points from the veteran ability activation?
Oh he most definitely is! I didn't have him to begin with but that 1 extra power to every card with veteran, + the points from all excess damage you do and he's unit points. He can easily be a 20+ point card and he helps keep everything alive so yeah if you are looking for a place to save provision I wouldn't remove him 😅 some pirates deck you can easily deploy him as a 16 point finisher + veteran value, that's better than morvudd 😊
I agree that he's 100% worth it. He's normally 10-12 extra points on the Veteran cards alone (which helps alleviate the weaker stats in R1) so by Round 3 he's worth 18-20 even without any boost. Definitely worth and like @DennisJeppesen said, in some matchups where the excess damage happens a lot he becomes a huge finisher.
@@platinumpatrol2964 couldn't have said it better, I have him in my sihil deck and the excess damages alone can make him worth it. Honestly I am surprised nobody complains about him "only being 11 provision" I am glad he is 11 but even if he was 12-13p I would still make room for him.
@@DennisJeppesen I think it's because the points are spread out across the Veteran units and Highland Warlord gets more attention since he's a Bronze and enables damage (more annoying) than Bran.
@@platinumpatrol2964 oh damn okay fair enough. i thought soon after commenting anyway that it would play for at least 15 or something like that. ive never touched raid warriors so
Nice vids keep on going buddy. Btw do you think gwent will keep their servers going? I really hope so since I just bought some dust, im to impatient to grind and gain them.
Yes, I think they will for a long time still. The closest comparison for Gwent is probably The Elder Scrolls Legends card game (big IP spinoff card game, similar playerbase size during its lifespan) and it's still going after they ended official support 5 years ago. Without having to pay developers as a big cost my guess is they'll keep the servers up as long as there's a playerbase for the game.
Hey, thanks for playing what people were asking for. But same as you do, I just find this deck boring and annoying. Would you mind switching it up do play a crimes or a gang deck for syndicate? I am trying to make something else work than bounty right now. (Or even firestorm if you dare, haha)
Kaer trolde > harald an Craite. Used this deck to climb to pro. The potential for double removal with the location is absolutely mandatory. Harald just doesn’t do enough, the ping damage is not valuable in any way.
Also, consider running a seagull instead of brokers warrior. Another target to use abordage on, a little carryover, and potential to self damage to kill your own raid tutor so you can replay him in the same round with fucusya
@@er4din903 Didn't think of using Seagull to kill Vabjorn, that's an interesting point. I'm not sure the deck needs Kaer Trolde for the double removal when the Raids scale so high in damage and there's no Armor or Self-wound synergy, but it could be worth trying out. Harald I do like for bringing back the enhanced Veteran cards that War of Clans can't grab and as another Tyr payoff and the pings do help setup Bloodthirst once the Raids scale and start killing everything, but he's not really necessary I suppose.
with good deck optimisation this dekc is less draw dependant. yes, getting draig + 2 warlors your ideal turn 1 scenario, but when that happens you usuall end up losing round 1 becaus w playing that package is super low tempo. by dropping harald for kaer trolde you get one extra powerful play in a longer round 1, so you can compete better. ive used this deck to climb to pro 4 months now na dyou can 100 % play around less than deal draws. its not that binary.
Well, it does just lose some matchups like no unit Monsters and sometimes you don't draw any Highland Warlords or tutors. Strong 2-0 decks can be an issue as well since you don't get all of your scaling.
Raid is fun man. My main deck recently
I hate abordage I always end up with them being bricks, thanks for the video Platinum Patrol!
What do you play in their place?
If I wanted to include Sihil, which card should I cut?
Probably Harald, Feral Bond, and Greatsword to replace with Sihil, Gerd (for the extra Siren spawn), and a 2nd Freya's Blessing.
