I love going back and watching old videos. I always find new ideas or things I haven't spotted before. One thing is the screen/ shade curtain at 16:55. I've been thinking of ways to shade some plants from the sun in warmer months. That is brilliant.
Pete’s always got the coolest tours! Just when you thought you’ve seen it all Pete comes through again and AGAIN! Thanks bro ! Never gonna stop watching your channel! 🤙👊
What ambition and success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I love this. It's so great to see someone that has been in Florida for awhile and does most of their own work. Congrats.
Wow, that place is amazing! I was thinking the whole video man this guy must have retired early to build a place like that then come to find out he's still working a regular job and built this beast on his spare time! Man...if he can do it so can I!
This garden was open to the public one year for a garden tour. I remember being so amazed and inspired by this garden. I don't see enough examples locally of tropicals being grown even though I know we aren't too cold to grow them. I will definitely have to get up with all of these Northwest Florida gardeners you visited!
What a great video and couple! It is so great to see folks working together to build their garden of eden! Would love to hang out with them and learn! I am only 3 hours from Pensicola!
Amazing. Joe is a genius and passionate and clearly appreciates meeting someone who understands and appreciates the same things. He was impressed several times at the shared knowledge. I've never felt such and under achiever in life as I do watching this video. I don't know how I found this channel but it is fantastic.
His place is definitely amazing. I wondered about some type of basement type place in FL. I would love to have seen more of the building of his safe room or storm shelter. Really cool. Janice
maybe an inquiry of readers who have seen other bunkers and safe "in place" shelter. Of course that water table is a problem. I have wondered about using walls of vetiver to anchor a storm shelter down there. I am facing a move and in the face of hurricanes know I am not a good emergency traveler. A simple water cistern would only allow a fasting situation unlike his bunker of bounty! Bucket toilets of course.
This is a very intelligent person. He has so much great stuff in 6 acres. His bunker, solar and water systems are great. Love the idea of 50 gallon barrels for water catchment. And the first flush and air tubes to let the breathe , who thinks of that? Is he an engineer? Really cool video as usual. You keep upping your game.
Absolutely wonderful. I can’t believe how amazing it is. Wow I live now way up north and after this video I’m home sick . 🤢 , nice job on everything you both accomplished.
I am moving to Florida in 2 months, definitely growing a food forest. This video just made me want even more. I am Brasilia and definitely growing lost is jabuticabas.
And the storm bunker is so solid! I wonder, would a cement slab wrapping the walls be easier? Wouldn't it be nice to cover any other forms of severe weather protection...?
I absolutely love his Eden. I live across the bay from him so I'm hoping to get a hold of him to get some seeds and starts. Especially like the bamboo and could use it to make a slightly more temporate area for tropicals.
winter rain makes it so hard to grow papayas outside here, im gonna give it one more shot in the same spot with a ground cover and see if that helps at all
I just moved to Milton Florida. Is this garden near my area? I have gardened my 40 in Tennessee now I’m so excited to start with the learning experience of a Florida garden. I really enjoy seeing the possibilities
Great stuff pete. Videos are excellent. Im suprised more folks havnt found you. You need to exploit the algorithm. These videos should have way more views, the quality is too good not to.
Pete Kanaris GreenDreamsFL. Click bait titles and thumbnails with catchy keywords. RUclipsr collabs, i know youve done a few.... Get people to comment, thats a big one i think. Also remind to like and subscribe. Proper intro and b roll, more cinematic shots and edits. Curtis stone, migardner, justin rhodes and vegan althete jake mace are in same genre, thats how i found you, recomended by youtube a few months ago. Many youtubers get a viral vid that launchs their sub count. I think tough to do for gardening, not impossible. I love the videos, i live in Louisville but spent many winter vacays in Bradenton. I enjoy seeing the tropicals. The garden tours and job sites (food forests) are my favorite episodes Keep it up!!!
hello! I live 20 miles north from Pensacola. just moved here 6 months ago. Papayas viable outdoor here? or I will need greenhouse to grow? thanks for any help!
This is truly a dream property. Such inspiration. I hope I'm fortunate enough to have a slice of land like this one day.
