    Why not choose a SC rating of 50 kA for 1 second or 63 kA for 1 second? If you choose 80 kA for 1 second, it will be very expensive to manufacture.

    As technically if the busbar Isc = 41.9kA, 50 / 63 kA for 1 sec will be ok, & also please check the O/G breaker sizes shall be more than or equal to 41.9kA but shall not be less than 41.9kA, please check..

    I think that u should have used nominal voltage of 415 volts as per IE rules & made
    calculations accordingly

    But in this calculation u did not consider voltage drop and amp acuity of the cable to mcc

    While selecting circuit breaker, Every C.B comes with starting current and short circuit current capacity. selection of 630 A looks wrong. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Never knew IEC imposed any rules.
