@OperaMystery80 I think her voice is simply perfect for this piece, each interpretaction must be different and her voice can sing whatever she wants. Amazing! :D
@OperaMystery80 Are you talking about the subtitles? Spanish doesn't differentiate between want and love so in a restaurant you can say "Yo quiero" and to your spouse you would say "Te quiero" the verb is the same but the usage changes the meaning.
When I heard the great Jessye Norman sing this in Florence I've only preferred her version. She sings with feeling as it should be sung. The lyrics are what she shows to herself and the audience. A little erotic and greatly moving.
