Glad to see you highlight Maine in this mini-series. 👍🏻 Maine is imo underrated and underappreciated…especially the coastline. Great scenery, great little towns, great history, and of course, great food! I hope to return there someday aboard Fedora and cruise those areas. Thanks for the videos!
Well Wow! I lost you for a while on YT got you through Twitter today, your vid popped up. So, no clue of your diff boat travels.Maine IS beautiful but the winter- hell no. Must be a fish nobody eats to be so overpopulated. Glad you had a bud ! I recall hearing Bay of Fundy (sp) somewhere in history.Thank you for the beautiful views we would never have seen. Thanks & Hey to Noah! Todays Christmas, hope you have a ~Happy Christmas you Clever Handsome Man ! 🎄⛵Looking forward to seeing wherever you are now.
I saw you jump in the water... I was like, "nfw!" I was in the USN, I have seen bluewater, but I'm new to sailing. I just bought myself a 20+ yo Sun Odyssey 37... I'm stoked. Best of luck! @@SailorJames
Merry Xmas James to you and your family and of course your sail boat which has kept you safe thru your ocean travels have a good rest of year and future years
Have to say, this title freaked me out a bit… I was thinking “Penobscot Bay?? Wait a minute, he’s on the other side of the world, no way he could have sailed that fast…and it’s too cold to be sailing in Maine”!! But okay, the flight part made A LOT more sense!! 😂 Beautiful spot where you are, but as I’m from New Brunswick, I’m a little biased! Hope you’re having a Merry Christmas and enjoying the holidays! 🤠👍🏼☮️ You’re near some awesome whale spotting areas, maybe you’ll see a few. And the bottom where you are is loaded with lobster, but water isn’t clear enough to jump in and grab a couple. I’m sure there are lots available on shore though.
MEANING OF Triteia (Ancient Greek: Τρίτεια) was, in Greek mythology, the daughter of the sea-god Triton and mother, by Ares, of Melanippus who gave to a town in Achaea the name of his mother. Sacrifices were offered there to Ares and Tritaea in the temple of Athena.
Penobscot bay is my home sailing grounds. Hope you enjoyed your time there.
Thanks for another great episode James! Stay safe and cheers!
Cool to see how close you were to my area, and how close Holly's stomping grounds are to me. Love the series. Thank you, sir.
So fun to see you sailing around where I live! Glad you enjoyed your time in Maine!
Tidal Range .. Have a look at the Severn estuary in Bristol Channel UK,,, That takes some beating .. Great VLog as ever James
Cool videos, I recognize the landscape, never been there, just similar to home or here ✌️

Love Maine, but the folk in Maine don't care for outsiders.
There is such a rich maritime history there indeed. Those gobs and gobs of fish!!!
Love the hat.
Merry Christmas….loved Maine.

Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you for sharing your Maine cruising, looks like you all three had a great time! Love your content - so well done!!
I always heard, to sail in Maine you need a full keel because it’s the only kind that doesn’t get hung up in a crab pot!!
It would certainly make things easier when you do hit them
You can walk to the mainland in em 😂
Thanks!
Thanks 🙏🏻
Merry HO HO James!

Bays in MD eastern shore are the same with crab pots. Makes boating difficult and at times not so enjoyable to have to navigate so man=y of them
Definitely don't have to worry about the snakes in main. Just don't underestimate the mosquitoes.
It’s the Lyme disease I was worried about

She was also the Granddaughter of Poseidon
Any idea what kind of fish they were? Looking forward to cruising Maine. Thanks
Not sure but man we’re there a lot
Herring
We call the Pogies! Menhaden or bunker.
I missed something
How are you in Maine?
All RUclips videos are time delayed. The intro tells how I am in Maine and this is the 4th video from Maine 🤷🏼♂️
In my next life I'll retire to Maine!
Same same
WHAT TYPE OF FISH WERE THE MILLION FISH JAMES?
Not sure 🤔
Could be poggies, they are used for lobster bait... very bony to eat.
IMO; Menhaden.
AKA bunker, mossbunker, pogie.
P.S. everyone will say don't bother eating them. They *are* full of bones, but in my experience, have a delicate flavor.
Where are you sending Christmas?
In the Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand
Hope your happier back in your part of the world. You seemed very removed in opua
This is not my part of the world.
When you said 'bugs,' did you mean mosquito and blackflies? Or just bugs that don't bite you?
We didn’t experience any biting bugs but we also keep the screens on
