Thanks for the review and so speedily too! I wonder what the first batch the pure pot still one was like. I still think id like to try it it sounds... different which is always good.
The pure pot still was the original Comber bottles. Batch 1, a single pot still, came out in 2021 from Echlinville. It was sourced. It was really good!
@@4LeafWhiskey thanks for the reply! Looking forward to seeing how the brand develops further! Congratulations on your epic distiller tour of northannd eastern Ireland by the way! I'm from Donegal and you'll have to come back and visit Sliabh Liag Distillers. I love their silkies but can't wait to taste their new make which is in the old peated style similar to Islay
I'd love to go to Ireland and sight see and taste whiskey.
Check out Irish Whiskey Experiences. They have another Whiskey Bus tour coming up next year! Going to JJ Corry and Wayward Irish Spirits and Midleton
Appreciate the review. This is the first I have heard of that distillery.
It’s one of the old Irish brands that didn’t survive unfortunately
I've only tried a sample of this. I liked it, but not enough to buy a full bottle (yet at least!)
I had a sample of the Single Pot Still and really liked it. This one just doesn’t hit for me, I think I’d grab the 1808 first.
