I just got Lanie from Mercari in December! She means so so so much to me. When I was in elementary school, my science teacher had her and she was our class mascot. I was president of the science club that she hosted, and together we could adapt ideas and activities from Lanie's stories for our after school club. Lanie was a doll I have wanted for so long, and so when I bought her with my own money as an adult collector she became very valuable to me.
Yessss 21! She's such a gem. I found mine (nude, a little messy but still with shiny hair and great pincurls) for about $60 on Mercari. Yours is definitely out there!

The two dolls I want most are Lila and Grace, but at some point I would also really love to have a 21 with pin curls. I agree that it was pure foolishness for them to ever remove the pin curls. Manifesting a 62 for you, I am very lucky to have one and she really is one of the most beautiful dolls they’ve ever made. Rebecca is my favorite doll so I hope you get her too!

I didn’t know 54 was selling for so much!! I just recently got a 54 with the old face mold and she was in amazing conditon for a pretty good price. I had no idea she was selling for $300 dollars!! My top doll on my wishlist is Grace, your Grace is so pretty!! I kept looking at her while watching the video 😂
YESSS she just keeps getting more expensive but I’ll keep on the lookout sometimes she can range from $150 I’d rather pay that than around $300 ! And aww grace says thank you !🥰💕💕

I have melody I got directly from AG. I never had a sonali mold before so I don't know the differences so much but I adore my Melody doll. But get the one you want!

AGIG has made me want sooo many dolls. I feel you there. I definitely recommend Claudie and tm 122. I have them both and they are two of my favorites but don't tell my other dolls.

aw, I hope you are able to find a lot of the dolls on your wishlist this year! I've been able to find quite a few Lainey dolls at the thrift store. One I rewigged myself, with a Nellie wig, the next one I sent to the doll hospital, and the third one I rewigged with a blond curly wig and gifted to a little girl. 💕💕
I don't really have any specific dolls that I want to add to my own personal collection as I was able to add soooo many last year. (mostly from FB Marketplace and thrift stores, but I got the Hoffman twins and a Makena lookalike "Donut Dreams" doll from Costco - for $40!) I'm trying to organize my doll room right now, it's a mess! 🤦♀🤦♀

I knew you were going to say 62 before you said her number. :) She is gorgeous. And I completely agree re: the new Sonali mold. I think these are all great choices for your wish list. I don't have a wish list right now because I'm doing a no-spend year for all toys, AG and non-AG. I have 8 dolls and 64 outfits and I really want to enjoy what I have. I'm also taking pictures of other toys that I have and posting them on Instagram as well. If you told me I had to buy a doll in 2024, I would pick a custom Claudie from Oh Deer Custom Dolls with a short black wig and freckles. :) Thanks for sharing!

Keeping looking for a 21 ! There are so many out there that are in amazing condition for a good price… just be skeptical and double check with seller And ask for pictures of her hair specifically!

I also want to get Maritza. I have 122, just got her and I love her. I named her Cherokee. She so much looks like a little native American girl. I can’t believe I had to wait so long to get her. Money just doesn’t go far enough these days when wanting to buy the AG dolls
I feel you these dolls and their accessories are so expensive. I wish I could spoil them everyday but at least our dolls know they are well loved by us ! Also I love the name Cherokee for 122 so cute 💕

My two wishlist are special edition. I want Truly 86, which was sugar plum. I’m also upset I didn’t get the shimmering holiday so that’s the next one.
My two girl of year is Lindsey and Blaire. They aren’t to bad but I just can’t justify it yet.
I hope you can find them for good prices ! TM 86 and the shimmering doll are of course more on the expensive side though but you never know what you can find when buying secondhand, good luck !!

Currently, I really want Grace since she’s one of the goty I really loved as a kid apart from Leah and Saige who I recently got. I also plan on getting truly me 44 and 67 in the next few months. And I asked my boyfriend for Kavi for my birthday.

I LOVE this list!! Personally, I've wanted a Grace since I was 9, and I still don't have her, so she'd probably be the only doll I'm looking to (maybe) get this year! My budget is so tight though, so I don't even know if I can but we'll see!! I might come back and comment under here if I find any of the dolls you're looking for for a good price, since I browse a LOT haha.
YESSS I love grace sm ! Always check on Facebook marketplace, garage sell listings , flea markets if you have any in your area these are the best places I’ve found dolls for the cheap ! Lol
@@agdollies4ever Yess I'm so excited for our flea market to start up again in the spring! I've seen dolls there a good handful of times and even got a marie-grace for 15$ (I cried LOL)

I definitely recommend Lanie she was one of 15 dolls I bought last year and I absolutely love her!! She is doll I never really wanted as a kid but came to adore her as an adult. I also own all three world by us girls and you will just love Maritza she is chiefs kiss 😘!

I had a 21, and technically I still do, pin curls and all - but I hated her hair. The wig was rough so she got new eyes and new hair and she’s not really 21 anymore. I bought myself claudie for christmas when I hoped AG would drop her for Black Friday. And they didn’t. Just got Evette from the 70%sale when she was briefly 58. It was a good day.
Getting Evette for 58 NIB is an insane deal im so happy seeing everyone get her. I wish Claudie would go on sale too that would be awesome
I’m also hoping to get Claudie super soon! 🩵

I agree with your passion for the original Rebecca (I own her) and that is better than the BeForever release; about Laney, I think that is a really cute doll, but I don't feel myself able to judge her as I know nothing about this character; yes: for me the real character is very important, is the true soul of each American Girl doll; this is the reason of I don't care to purchase a Truly me one: even if there are some really cute (I expecially love the 109 and 122), I feel that they miss the essence of a person who had/has a place in her land history; I don't know if you understand the feelings I feel for them and maybe I am wrong, but this is the way how I see them. About Melody and Maritza, I find them so different, but united by a common feeling for their homeland: have both of them could be the best choice. Have a nice day.

I got Evette for my birthday this month. When my husband purchased Maritza brand new in box from eBay she had stained legs from leggings so please she that before you purchase. AG did replace her legs due to faulty leggings and sent me a new pair which I dare not use on any of my dolls just in case 😊

I hope that you get your dream dolls. I want to get the new GOTY. I didn't like that AG released her before January 1st so I decided not to buy her until 2024. It is really sad that AG had her on backorder for New Year's Day. I will probably wait to get her until my next visit to a store.

The Sonali mold has been ruined 😭 I have a lot of the dolls on your list and want a lot of the ones you want, too! I still don’t want 21 though.. the line eyebrows will always bug me. She was a dream doll of mine back when I was a kid though since she had no bangs.
