Most realistic and honest video about working on cars. We all have hard times and need to walk away and vent when working on cars. Loving the videos Tom!

I, for some reason, got an immense sense of satisfaction when you replaced the old RTV with HondaBond. Thanks for that!

Man you're doing so much more work and better than the average random person! Don't worry, experienced mechanics still have a bad time, we are just more numb to it haha. I wasn't going to mention until you did, but having the shop and tools and people around makes it a lot better. I can't count how many times I've flung a wrench into the darkness of night laying under my car in my driveway and yelled to no one out of frustration!

I’ve mentioned before, editing these videos is helping me see the process as if I’ve done the work 10x more. By the end of editing even I’m wondering why I was having a hard time haha.

Hi, Tom, greetings from Indonesia. I just bought a BRZ for my wife a couple months ago. Since then I’ve been through internet and RUclips videos just to know what can be done to improve my wife’s BRZ a lil bit. And I came across to your videos. I am not a mechanic, but I like doing simple works on cars/bikes in my garage once in a while (despite my lack of free time, my laziness and my incompetence…😂😂😂). And I really enjoy your videos (I watched all of your BRZ episodes). You encourage me to get to the garage and get my hands dirty again. Thank you for inspiring me. Wish you for the best in every aspect of your life, Bro.

learning how to wrench sucks when youre 6 hours into a 1 hour job but it's all an investment into yourself and worth it in the end

Every new technician goes through those very steps and emotions. Wait until the nuts and bolts on the car start to rust. Thanks for keeping it real.

I spent a week under my FR-S feeling dumb and mad while working on suspension, but I was happy after! Never doing that again though. I'll pay someone next time. lol
The BRZ is looking great! Each of these videos increases the desire to trade my car in for a second gen.

Don’t forget that your world is engulfed with people work on cars every single day of the week. The reality is that you’ve done more work on this car than 99% of people will ever do. You just hang out with that 1% ;)

Learning is hard - and yanking oil pans isn’t light work 😂❤ the speed that pro wrenches have is something that only comes with doing it for a living. I still work slow-as-fuuuuuuhhhhhhhh

Don't be so hard on yourself, learning new things takes time and can be frustrating. You're surrounded by friends who genuinely want to help you succeed and you're doing great! Keep it up man, I love watching this series!

Tom dont be so hard on yourself. Cars are hard despite what some people might say - they are lying. Its tricky awkward work and the only way it gets easier is experience. Awesome work with these videos and being so honest about how you're finding things. Keep smacking those knuckles and dropping those bolts you're doing great.

I actually think it's pretty awesome that you're willing to get on youtube and talk about frustrations and insecurity, and working through it. It's a side of car modification that I think a lot of people can relate to.

I’m loving this series, as a mechanic I agree with Andy that it’s amusing watching you go through our daily struggles, but you’re handling them much better than I did when I started so kudos to you Tom! It only gets better, for the most part, I still throw wrenches across the shop from time to time lmao.
