Nowadays, it is less likely to get a job after a house job/ internship in Maldives because of saturation. So, minimum experience needed 2-3 years to get in competition.

80% of questions are from your CV based, like in which department you have more experience. Start from your comprehensive interview and so on. Your speaking proficiency, how quick or vigilant to ans the question all matters and have marks. It's a 100 Marks interview by the ministry of health.

Yes there are rare opportunities for pathologists in the Maldives. Bcz, less no of tertiary care hospital and their associated labs in IGMH, Tree Top Hospital and ADK Hospital.

As I already stated in the 2nd Question of video, for doctors we don't need to take OET/IELTS or any linguistic exam for Maldives. MOH is accepting Secondary School Certificates in equivalence to linguistic tests. But if you have any other Medical profession then you need to get a linguistic test with a minimum score I think 5.5 to 6.

Once you join MOH then you are entitled for 1 month annual leave after 12 months of duration/work and in between you are also entitled for FRL(family responsibility leaves) for 10 days and emergency leaves for 10 days but you need to submit some evidence documents for your leave.
Moreover, if your hospital manager is cooperative and doctors are available in that facility you can get no-pay leaves also.
So in short whenever you have plans for your exam you have to inform your incharge or HR at least one month before so that they can manage.
After official leave approval you can go and come back to join the facility, there is no issue. I've seen so many doctors that they went for an exam and joined again.

Maldives is costly, regarding food, traveling and shopping. For a family of 4 it all depends how much you are spending, roughly I think 8-10k MVR
40000 MVR for specialists? It's not good for a consultant. Usually consultants are getting more than 55,000MVR.

Lab tech jobs are advertising frequently by MOH and the application process is the same as the doctor, either direct or by an agent.
Salaries are approximately more than 15000mvr per month excluding overtime.
Annual in and out bound tickets will be paid by the employer 400$ and 50% above.
Nowadays MOH is granting a two year renewable visa for their employees.

Bro ticket cost is a different country to country or city to city ; need to be checked from airline sites.

1-there is no authentic agency in Pakistan to recruit doctors for Maldives however, there are some authentic agencies, I mentioned in description too, are associated with MOH.
2- The chances are there to get a job but keep in mind Maldives is a very expensive country, before without a job it is useless to come to the Maldives.
3- if you want to apply directly to MOH for a job, I've mentioned email in description too, apply there when vacancies announced matching with your qualification

Yes every hospital provides maternity care in Maldives however, the level of care is different like some HC provide basic care to obs patients. And Atoll, regional and IGMH hospitals provide a full range of maternity care. Even according to Maldives law female employees are entitled to 60 days maternity leave without holiday but I'm not sure if it is paid or unpaid. Need to confirm.

Yes parents can move with MO.
Visit visa is for one month and needs to be renewed before expiry. But it's better you can bring them on a dependent visa and its duration is for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.

I want to ask that if someone has passed plab 2 exam and has gmc registration but wants to work temporarily in maldives so does he still have to appear for the maldives licensing exam which you mentioned in the video?

Firstly, as far as I know there is no exemption policy in Maldives whatever exam or registration you have.
Secondly, if you want to work temporarily it means less than a year so you can practice on the provisional license provided by the MMDC but if you want to stay more than a year you have to appear for the MMDC licensing exam.

Yes of course we can save. It's all up to you how much you are spending on eating, shopping and visiting. Roughly 5000MVR plus expenses will come for eating including your family, accommodation will cost you the same if you are nearby island to capital Male it costs you more than 5000MVR but if you are on a remote island then approximately 3000mvr or less. Education is free for kids.

If the facility has accommodation they will provide otherwise they will help in search alternative one

There is no exam center in the Maldives but you have plenty of time for study and after preparation, you can take this to any nearby country like Sr or India

1- It's all up to the person, how much he/she is spending. Roughly we can save 1000usd if you are working as a MO, but you can save more if you are self cooking and living alone without family.
-2 we are getting all medical and surgical emergency cases including peads, gynae &obs and geriatric etc. But it depends on which facility you are working in If we are working in a basic facility or a small hospital then after initial management we can refer to the higher facility for further assessment or management.

Interview is like an intro, and some clinical questions on different scenarios and some common questions.
Exam included basic and clinic SBA and I think easy to pass, most of us passed in first attempt.

With family the cost is little more and saving will be decreased to 1000 USD or can save more all is upon living status.
