There will never be another two like these guys. What is it about the 60’s and 70’s that gave us some of the best Rock&Blues ever created. 🤷🏻♂️😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
When Bill starts speaking my goose bumps get goose bumps. I've been listening to these talented men since I was a child over 60 years now. Loved them then and still do.
Back in the day we did treasure our woman. She was the only one and she was the one who you sang to especially when a song came on the radio that showed how you felt about her. And songs back then didn't have profanity and disrespectful lyrics or talked bad about woman. Music lead to marriage and family and a long happy life together.
I completely agree with you Fred. We treated her like the Queen she really is and our hearts desire in every way. This music led to marriage, children, and a life together forever in love. Any problem can be fixed if the man leads by communicating how much that woman means to him, that he is lost without her, and that he needs her more than anything.
This song is absolutely beautiful. Lord have mercy did they know how to sing just to you! So talented and precious not inappropriate just simple but powerful.
Yes, my lovely, I know this song. The Righteous Brothers were a mainstay of my musical upbringing in the 60s and 70s. Bill Medley's baritone and Bobby Hatfield's tenor are so perfectly matched that their singing could break your heart. One of the greatest duos ever. SO happy you loved this song. I'm with you!!
@@DrewsClues Oh, please do find the Everly Brothers, who preceded the Righteous Brothers by several years. In fact, the Everly Brothers would be considered as some of the pioneers of rock 'n roll, and no one has ever surpassed them when it comes to beautiful close and precise harmonies. They influenced everyone who followed them, including the Beatles. I probably enjoy the Righteous Brothers just a bit more because they put more depth of emotion into their music, but the Everly Brothers aren't getting very many reactions, and that's a shame because they shouldn't be missed. You're gonna love 'em!
I am 72 and these songs bring back so many memories and now the women now can feel what we felt back in the 60's!! They were just so special......amazing!
This lady really feels the music. And I am someone who also loves the way these artists performed this song. For some of us there is a religious respect for romantic love. We get it!!
I love this group and the oldies. They actually sang with emotions and heart. Not like this music of today. And they did it natural with no auto tune. I like sending my girl songs like this and singing them to her. Even though I can't sing lol
They don't have beautiful music like this anymore. There's no longer respect taught in our culture or music. It's amazing when I see young ladies reacting to this kind of music, the look of emotion on their faces is priceless, to think of a man talking and singing these kinds of words to them, they look like they could melt, lol.

These two guys singing move you and they did me back in the day. When I hear the last part of this song it almost brings a tear to my eye remembering and missing those great years now long gone. Being a baritone myself, I always hummed along with the last part of this beautiful song trying to stay in tune with Bill Melody and always will.

Bobby Hatfield…Lightning and Bill Medley…Thunder. When these two harmonize, it’s like the brilliance and flash of lightning and the roar and rumble of thunder. Every time they harmonize the phrase “you’re my soul and hearts inspiration” it seems like they’re about to blow all the recording electronics with their vocal lightning and thunder. I was 13 when this song was released - their vocal “lightning and thunder” still hits me the same today. True audio magnificence!

Back in my Saturday nights at the SockHop period, the very last song played was always a Righteous Brother's song....Every girl in the place, and I mean every girl, all ran around grabbing guys to slow-dance with them....I always obliged....For the thousandth time, thank you, Bill and Bobby....................................By the way, they got the name Righteous Brothers from a concert at which, after hearing a couple of their so soulful songs, some guy yelled out "You're Righteous Brothers!".....Also, Cher (don't think the video is clear enough to spot her) was one of those back-up singers in "You've lost that lovin' feeling".

Beautiful reaction thank you for keeping the righteous brothers spirits alive
Bobby was an old fashioned guy. He adored his wife who was ill with lupus. He took care of her. He even tried to collect money for the disease. She felt the same about him. She died a few years after him at 58. Soulmates.
I loved this song! I was a freshman in high school and had to break up with a guy in LA and I had to move to a small town, I missed his so much!
I just love the way You love this song..
We learned this song when I was 12 yrs old All about Love
Your reaction ... Priceless
I don't think you can appreciate the magic that is The Righteous Brothers until you watch their live performances like this one and Unchained Melody.
Did that already. Thanks❤️
THE WORD YOUR LOOKING FOR IS ABSOLUTELY GENUINE !!!
I have been binging on some Righteous Bros and crying and smiling all at the same time. lol
That’s what framed our environment in those days. So different now. Sad. Try Cherish by the Association. Thanks!
I wish i cd take credit for this but i read it on another Righteous Bros vid:
Its worth being old now
