Gary was the engine in that band. He had a huge vision of this band that he brought to reality. I miss him. Saw REO twice. The You Get What You Play for is easily one of the top 5 live albums ever recorded truly live.

Absolutely Loved the way Gary Richrath Played He Was Awesome Golden Country Flying Turkey Trot He played with all emotion! And the way he kicked one foot up! Missed got to see him several times not enough though! What him and Neal Schon and Guitarist Like that could get out of a Les Paul! I am So Glad that Great Rockers like You keep this out there! I get Really bothered that these Amazing Incredible Musicians who gave us all are all dying before they are Honored like they should be It Horrible that whatever that thing in Ohio RRHOF or that one I refer to as Rolling Stones Magazine awards maybe if they were to try to build one of these in another State I can’t Believe Paul Rodgers or Gary Richrath and REO and Foreigner it is a joke of what they have done although and nothing against him but if they could induct Bruce Springsteen every year they would the I Feel like I got to grow up in The Greatest Era of Music and I don’t get their reasoning Journey got in because Bruce Springsteen and some others sang the Biggest Song ever written Don’t Stop Believing and then started saying that maybe these Bands should have been in there a Very long time ago and finally giving the Fans a vote Rolling Stones Magazine was jealous of How Popular Classic Rock Music was and now it’s as Big as ever seeing another Generation loving this Music going to the concert’s

I don’t like these guitarists who think they have to play every effin note on the whole neck. Duane Allman crafted unbelievable solos from just a few simple shapes on the neck and he was ten times better than these guys who play ten thousand notes and don’t know when to stop. I’m sorry Gary had such a tragic ending, but I think he’s totally overrated.
