looks great! That tiny ding on the bumper can be carefully tapped out with a small block of wood from the backside as you lay the bumper face down on some heavy cardboard.
IMO the gap makes it look good 👌🏾. Also paint match grille and billet with the two tone paint match upper plastic and a 4wd lower valance if ya wanna hide a lil bit of the suspension.
You gotta put the 99-02 4x4 lower valence on… it has fog lights. You can get a fog light switch for the inside and it’s a direct replacement… color match the top bumper pad and grill bro!
Paint match the upper plastics on the bumper the silver two tone color, my 01 Lariat looks pretty good with it. And if you want do the paint match on the lower plastics it would look real clean
Love the 02 front end on Larry bro. Much better the beefier front end matches the beef of the rest of the truck!! Good work brother! The wind doesn’t bother to much either lol

Looks amazing although i actually have the opposite opinion of the bumper and like the old style bumper better. Mainly because I like that it’s mainly all chrome and doesn’t have the plastic bottom and looks higher and pointer (if that makes sense 😆) Although I have a 2001 F-150. Are you saying then if I were to swap my 01 bumper with one from a 97 or 98, the mounts on my truck frame will be smaller than the mounts on the bumper? And if that’s the case would you say it’d be easier to put an older bumper on the newer 10th Gen versus for you where you were putting a newer one on an older one? Idk if they would’ve made them interchangeable or not once they changed it. If that’s the case that It would be easier, than my interest in swapping my bumper at some point has increased 😆 I’m only doing it though if something happens to my current bumper. That’s what I had to do after the one on my old truck was smashed from a sign after a guy cut me off lmao
I have a dent in the same spot on my bumper lol. Putting it in drive when you need to put it in reverse at a gas station parking lot isn’t the best idea in my personal experience.
All I have to say is if he paints the lower valance it’s because of my truck! He knows what my truck looks like and the colors because I offered him my spindles. Hopefully he sees this comment and knows he should do the upper and lower silver

Painted matched top grill with bullet insert. Lower bumper paint to match to the lower silver but get the lower bumper piece with foglights

On my 99 I had an all blk frontend and blk backed lights and Billet grill and looked bad ass

With the newer bumper you might be able to run 37s and not need to trim as much as you would have had to do before with the original 97 bumper
