Oh my god, this came at the right time! I live in the United States since 3 months and I will live here for 10 more months and I can’t even tell how much I miss Germany! Especially the German food, I would have never expected that, but I actually can’t wait to go back
You guys remind me with my boyfriend when he was staying here in Sabah Malaysia for 7 months(doing his practical).. He missed the German bread the most and he always said the bread here is not even a bread hahaha.. I’m a Mexican-American (born and raised in the States) and I’m studying in Germany right now. I could agree with a lot of these things. If anything I wish the whole world recycled more, didn’t drink and drive, had decent public transportation, and clean/cleaner tap water. The quiet hour rule is alright but maybe midnight would be a better time and only for the weekdays, idk just a thought. Oh and German bread is REALLY really good, but I also miss my pan dulce con abuelita ):
Oh I remember some new neighbours, they were partying all night long every weekend for a month. If it's every now and then it's fine but every weekend sleepless, no thanks. So the 4th weekend at 3am I asked them to turn down the music and be a little quieter, since then I've never heard them again. Anyway I'm glad that there are laws about quiet hours also for weekends. I agree that midnight would be a better time tho. But then I think many elderly people would disapprove it.

That's what I heard too. People from Turkey eat it as Iskender Kebap and then someone put this dish into bread and that dish was called Döner. And that happened in Berlin, Germany 😏🌮
There is no possible way that there are more döner places in Germany then in Turkey, the differance is that the kebab restaurants also sell döner in Turkey and you may not be able to notice them as the way you do in Germany.

😂 Que risa lo de los "road markings" mi esposo es aleman y estamos actualmente viviendo en alemania, justo hace 2 o 3 semanas estuvimos en una parte de una autopista sin road marks! Y era super gracioso xq los carros no sabían qué hacer y ocupaban muchisimo lugar, en fin, todos confundidos y justo le dije a mi esposo "esto es lo que pasa cuando se deja a los alemanes sin una indicación clara de por dónde manejar" 😂😂 confusión total, mi esposo vivió 4 años en México x lo que es experto en manejar sin lineas en la calle
