Hey Carlos .. Solo sausage is a type of risoles (savory pancake) typical of Indonesia, which is in the solo area. This food is not one hundred percent made of meat, but beef or chicken which is chopped and then wrapped in egg shells which are fried first.. so Solo sausage is not duck sausage 😄😄..

Of course it is a fusion of western and Javanese cuisine, but instead of something new and fresh, for many westerners Selat Solo appears to be a less-tasty version of European cuisine. So I think Indonesians should avoid recommending Selat Solo to Westerners in general. Instead try to recommend something like Tengkleng Bakar, Nasi Liwet and of course, Soto.
