What other maintenance videos should we do? Did you find this one helpful?

Chain lube? My Lectric Trikes have two or three each.

@@sbukosky also agree with chain lube! I’m probably not doing my Cafe Cruiser service with not enough maintenance.

You should do a full bleed video, using the seringue at back caliper so we can learn the complete procedure. This video is more about replenishment and getting some air out of the reservoir. That didn't solve my problem of soft brake on my zoom.

That's not bleeding your brakes. That's simply putting fluid in. Need to change the title of the video or actual do the entire procedure.

Our Cafe Cruiser had numerous problems w/ the Zoom hydraulic brakes. Had to replace pads, rotors, brake bleed twice. Massive squeeking still despite all the work, rotors have to be replaced. Appreciate the video

Sorry to hear that. I am noticing more complaints with Zoom compared to other common brands.

My Cafe Cruiser's rear brake lever was getting a little close to the grip. It took 5 minutes out of my day to firm up the brake thanks to your video! Hardest part was attaching the hose to the funnel and not moving the two O rings. A little oil and twisting got it. Appreciate it!! 👍

Thanks for the video. Got my Cafe Cruiser last week and had to bleed the rear brakes to get them to work correctly. Great vid and easy to do without having to replace all the fluid etc.

I couldn't agree more, end of season I'll do the full bleed now I have the kit. But good news is I have full functionality out of my back brakes. Cheers guys!

Same with my Turris. The kit, the tools, and video got it corrected. Thanks for the guidance.

Excellent video! Thank you so much for the tutorial. I've seen other models that bleed from the wheel brake and insert a syringe to push the oil through the tube and back to the handle brake. Kind of the reverse of what is shown here. I don't know if the break model makes the difference in procedure nor which is best. The method you showed seems the simplest and the one I will try.

Hydraulic brakes are so much better than cable brakes unless you don’t mind lots of fiddling. I did an upgrade on one of my Lectric 3.0’s but not on my personal one yet. I don’t mind fiddling. 😊

Thanks for taking time to post this video. I have what appears to be the same Zoom braking system on a Dualtron Victor. I recently rode it for the first time in a while and basically had no rear brakes. The lever had no resistance at all. Before I try the procedure you suggested, is there another type of adjustment I should check before proceeding?

Hi, I am about to convert my Trek Marlin 5 to e-bike with a Bfang 750w motor. Bike currently has mechanical disc breaks but I am thinking of changing to Hydraulic breaks. I am only using the bike for general commuting. I have been looking at the Zoom 4 piston breaks online. Would you recommend these breaks? I know they wont compare to Shimano brakes like the BR Shimano BR-MT420 (4-piston) but I want brakes that have the integrated break leads without having to glue on sensors.

Should be about the same as all motorcycle brakes. Or same principal.

My zoom brake lever started leaking from the handle I ended up attaching a tektro handle and filling it up with baby oil with an eye dropper 😅

You realize you could have made this entire video without talking shit about bike shops, right? No bike shops, no bike culture. Show some respect.
