The 2023 season is making its mark in history in multiple ways. It was an exceptional season as planned, with the Elfsborg fans creating a better atmosphere than ever before, generating genuine excitement throughout certain parts of the season.
They now have a remarkably strong foundation to build upon, and a key element for a successful campaign is having a significant number of fans with season tickets. Together, this provides them the chance and opportunity to elevate our lows and live up to their potential in creating magic on the stands. In 2023, Elfsborg sold 908 season tickets, and they have already surpassed that with 1200 sold for the upcoming season. However, the potential is even greater. Therefore, they have now raised the bar, aiming for 1500 season tickets!
Guliganerna is an independent supporter association affiliated with IF Elfsborg, based in Borås. Established on November 21, 1991, during a challenging period for Elfsborg, both in terms of sports performance and finances, the association emerged as a beacon of support. Despite the club facing adversity, Guliganerna members rallied behind IF Elfsborg, laying the foundation for what would eventually become the largest fan group for IF Elfsborg and the fifth-largest in all of Sweden by 2011
Guliganerna is an actively engaged supporters association that welcomes all Elfsborg fans, irrespective of age, gender, or seating section. Politically neutral, they firmly reject violence and racism. With members ranging from 0 to 91 years old, encompassing both men and women scattered across the country, Guliganerna's central hub is Elfsborgsläktaren, also known as the heart of Borås Arena. In 2011, Guliganerna surpassed their previous membership record, reaching a total of 1155 members, securing their position as the fifth-largest supporter group in Sweden.
Since its inception in 1991, Guliganerna's activities have focused on actively supporting IF Elfsborg both at home and away, as well as generating interest in and around Borås. Over the years, they have expanded their offerings to include custom souvenirs, member magazines, two beers with unique labels, and the production and release of four CDs featuring Elfsborg Music. Today, their organization has grown to include both member and local retail outlets at Elfsborg games and various markets in Borås city.
