According to Steve Terreberry, U2 is hated because they are rioting on the SAME songs for decades and that they never release anything new or interesting even when they released their Songs Of Experience in 2017. I lost my dog a week before this was mysteriously pushed out to everyone’s iPhone. I knew immediately it was a sign when it came over my radio for absolutely no reason for this to be playing as soon as I plugged in my phone and I had no idea this was pushed out to everybody. My next dog was a reincarnation and I had to name her Iris
I lost my mom in 2004 out of the blue. Who'd thought MOFO would be the song I liked the most when it came out in 1997 but it got completely different meaning after. Now I can easily cry like a child on certain verses. Iris is similar, though deals with a grief in a different way, with more acceptance. Mofo was a more direct despair and shouting loud at the sky.
This was one of my favorite shows of all time. I was at this show in the United Center, goosebumps the entire show. Such a performance and amazing visuals. I wish I could experience it all over again.

Then they had the little mishap when this album was mistakenly placed on everyone's iPhone with their latest OS release. 'Iris'in reverse is 'Siri' and there are more than a few lyrics that may line up with the predecessor of all things AI at least from a commercial perspective...Don't shoot me, listen to the lyrics and decide.
