It is the "I" cap tube, they come in four sizes. "I" is the largest, and I dont know if you could tell from the video, but they fit the Perth Mint bullion perfectly.
I found them on Ebay by accident too. I will definitely be going back. Started stacking in July and your channel was one of the main ones that got me going. THANKS, I am having a blast.
Been using OnFireGuy ever since you referred them to me a few months ago, Silverfish! Thanks. I so appreciate you doing this video. I will plug them on my own channel too!... Their service is absolutely flawless.....almost superhuman! It's almost as if they know I need the capsules before I actually order them. I still can't figure out how they ship the product so darn fast. From my experience no other company has duplicated their speed of shipping. It's uncanny, truly!
The Eagles and Maples should have the same size airtite. I linked an auction for their one ounce Eagle airtite. The only difference is eye appeal, some like the black rings, some dont.
I guess thats a smart move for both having the possibility to feel/look at the coins and at the same time having the majority of them stacked away safely. To for your answers. Cheers !
Lol, no. When a business fixes a problem, that is a GREAT indication as to how safe it is to shop with them. They should be rewarded for that, not penalized. Jane is seriously a very nice lady, and she is working hard to build up this business.
It really depends. I dont have a good way to store it securely, AND be able to get to it, without some inconvenience. I generally leave a few pieces out, to have, look at, hold, etc. When I want something new, I pull a few different ounces out, and put the other ones away. Its why you will often see the same coins in my videos, those are the coins that I have left out.
You are exactly right on fire.com is the only place I buy my air-tites. Great service, knowledge, and very nice to work with. They will help you with what ever you need. Silverfish is right.
I ordered some air-tites a couple week back from Onfireguy, based on your suggestion. Got them really fast, nicely packed. My next order though will be from coinsupplyexpress. They have supreme selection and great prices on just about anything you'd need.
Great info and review silverfish! I was thinking about air tights but right now I have more bars than coins. I dont think it would be worth putting a bar inside an air tight. Well when I get more coins I will know where to go thanks for the info!
I concur Onfireguy is a good place to buy capsules. The tubes that store the capsules can be had at Provident Metals for only $1plus each depending on how many you buy.
A normal bar? No, but my son had a coke art bar from the 70's, they get a nice premium, so he put that in an airtite. BUT, if you had a bar that you wanted to protect, they sell the airtites for them.
THe problem is, they dont change the design, I realize that the queen is no longer there, but for the most part, they are minted to demand. I like them, but I dont really feel like they are a semi numi play, unless you get their initial year.
Another thing I've noticed, I bought some airtites from Apmex and some from the air-tites site, and the versions with the rings have different outer diameters, for the same size airtite. So there are a couple different versions out there, just an FYI for people...
I've been getting my AirTite products from J.P.'s Corner of Mississippi, who do wholesale boxes of 250 capsule sets and have better prices even with individual or small purchases.
The capsules that come with most of the Perth Mint Coins have a lip on them so you can use a small screwdriver to wedge open the capsule and handle the coin. Once you put a coin in an airtite you can't get it out. I'm surprised that nobody seems to be too concerned about this.
I envy you as well as argentagent47 you two are top dogs when it comes to silver.....youtube wise except for one guy i seen purchase 54 kilo snake coins that was a big receipt but yeah awesome silver keep posting I'll keep watching
If you take a .999 bar, that is tarnished funny, you can slowly heat it up until it glows red, when it cools, it will look BETTER than when it came from the mint. It will have lost it's temper at this point, but your not going to be pounding it into a sword anyways. If it is NOT .999 or better, it will tarnish grey/ black. I use this system when I pick up ugly bars, they come out perfect, unlike cleaning them, which leaves them looking improperly polished and cheap.
Nice video, I am glad to hear that we can vote down a seller for high shipping costs. I just ordered 11 coins from Amazon and the seller actually charged me 5.95 per coin to ship, that is just a scam. I didn't realize it the first time i bought from him but it made a big difference this time will never order from him again. I also use the air-tite website directly as they have been good to me.
go to air tite (dot) com you can search for airtites by the coin you want the airtite for, once you know, then you can either shop there or wherever has the cheapest price
Ive used him through amazon and I agree with everything you said. Hes great and its a bonus that he is so close to me. The first airtites I got were from a different place for some H40s that clearly arent genuine. Beyond coming pre scratched they scratch so easily its a joke. I will probably go to onfireguy just to replace the H40 knock offs I got.
Very smart move to keep the coins "air tight" like that, but I hope that someday soon people are fighting over a worn down, beat up, silver Roosevelt dime. ;)
Hi gipsytree, there is absolutely no way that this number is correct. It is probably just a decimal error. That being said, selling unneeded items for silver, I agree, Im doing this as much as I can as well. It really pays off, you will see your stack grow quickly.
my source is Valley Coin, if you buy in bulk then you get them for 30 cents a piece. 250 capsules for 75$. 75$ is a small price to pay to protect 250oz worth 5000$
I will additionally plug vernon.coin on eBay. I use Ring Air-Tites and when I looked onfireguy didn't have all the ones I needed. They have 170k feedback, 99.8% positive. Moreover the one time I needed help they went above and beyond. I use black ring and accidentally ordered white ring. I asked if I could purchase just the inside rings to correct the color instead of all new air-tites and they responded saying new rings would go out in mail free of charge. Doesn't get better than that!
Hey Silverfish.! Nice video. I was wondering what airtite works with the SBSS coins? I have all in the series thus far and want to but them in an airtite. STACK ON! thanks...
That are some good advices. But if you focus on the visuals of stacking. I have seen people having their collection in all from icecream boxes to really expensive tailor suited cases that only have space for a few coins. Is there a good way to have your entire stack stored visually apealing and still safe from scratching each other etc. It must be nicer to see your collection and not only knowing that its in there somewhere underneath all those plastic boxes ? again, ty for fast response =)
I have no idea how to even do that, I copied the link from my browser in to the description box. I point out deals that look good for people that may want them. How many silver channels point out bullion deals? If I were pumping overpriced painted coins, I would see your point. People like to know when there is a deal, they come to my channel to find out. Do you know how many times, I have been asked about airtites? Doesnt that warrant a video? I think that it does, and thats why I made it.
Just got a shipment from onfireguy prior to seeing this video. It was safe, fast, reliable and right on! Love them. Glad to hear that's where you got your airtites as well.
I was just on their site comparing it to another guy that is slightly cheaper. I'm going with onfireguy now because he was specific on how he ships the products while the other guy did not. I like the idea of each being shipped in a box layered with styrofoam. Again the other guy didn't. Thanks for reaffirming this guy!
And also storing them in a nice way so I would be able to go and see my nice collection from time to time. What would your tip be for one that dont stack but having thoughts of starting ?
Hey Silverfish, really enjoy your channel and have been a subscriber for awhile. Had a question on this video, what is the size of the air tite tube that fits the perth mint bullion? I may have bought a bunch of dragons because of another one of your videos :)
Hi love your vids here on youtube and have re watched some of them a few times even =D Now to my question. Im wondering how you store your silver while you dont show it ? By that I dont mean where you store it, but simply if you have it in nice boxes or if your the bulk guy that can have them in a carton box and doesnt care. If I were to invest I think my biggest problem would be to find a solution that takes care of the coins but still would let me play with them from time to time.
great video ... onfireguy... is THE best out there... only place to find those tubes that fit the capsuled coins ... problem is dealers don't even know about them
Very useful information. I have been buying air-tite capsules and tubes from onfireguy for about a year now. They ship fast and are packaged very well. I will not buy anywhere else. Excellent prices also.
silverfish VT, thanks just what we all need. Some place to get coin capsules & tubes, that fit the caps ! Wow, was just looking for this very same product to day. This is a fine service you have done for a lot of us. Damm good show.
As your stack grows, this evolves. when you buy your first few ounces, it goes on a shelf somewhere. As you get more, you get a fire proof lock box. Once you reach a certain point, you think about a safe, and where to hide it. A dummy safe is also a good idea, fill it with wheat pennies, or quarters in cardboard flips. People will think they hit the jackpot, and leave quickly.
You briefly mentioned Onfireguy before, I placed an order about 2 weeks ago and you are right, they are fast and very professional. Prices are also great! Thanks for letting us know about this.
Quick question that I pondered as I placed a late order Sunday evening: Would you spend the extra to buy a slabbed MS 70 Perth Mint Lunar coin? That way you know you are buying the best quality, it's in an air-tite compartment, and there's no disputing the quality. The premium isn't that much more than a typical Perth Mint Lunar coin, and you guarantee that you have a top quality semi-numi that way. What do you think?
Hey SF! What do you suggest for airtites on coins like Philharmonic.(I thought I remember seeing your Philharmonics in airtites).I am able to find the exact size (or close) airtites for most of my coins, but some coins I'm not. Is it a big deal of they are not exact fit and rattle a little?..Philharmonic is 37mm diameter and 3.2mm thickness, what did you use?..Noahs Ark's are 38.6mm diameter and I put them in a 39mm holder and yes there is a little rattle but pretty darn close..
Nice silverfish. I have been researching semi numismatic coins lately and still up in the air. I do realize that these coins seem to go up in value. As far as I can see, it's kinda a branch off of silver investing. I guess if I started in the semi stuff, I'd keep it separate from my bullion stuff. Do u keep your semi stuff separate from bullion? Thanks for everything u do my friend.
SFVT, I found this guy "pinnaclecoin" on ebay who sells airtites (direct/rings) for cheaper (free shipping also) than onfireguy (10 direct fit: $6.05 vs. $6.95, 10 rings: $6.05! vs. $8.95)
love the vids fish! funny thing is they sent me the wrong product, i called them and they fixed the problem. I could have given them a bad star, should I? haha
Hey, Silverfish... what are your thoughts on the US MINT JULY ASE 27million+ oz sale#'s? A glitch or do you think that it might be reflective of sale's for oversea purchases? Interesting times indeed. I think this fall will be explosive for the PM's. But like you said in one of your recent videos "why would you want something you're stacking to go up in price so quickly" I'm personally trying to sell everything I don't need for extra $ to stack at these prices. Keep up the good work!
Although your hypothesis was false, I commend you for challenging what you thought was a money making vehicle masquerading as a "I'm here to help you" video. I'm all for transparency. If you're making money giving advice on RUclips, you ought to admit it. Also, it's nice to see someone admit their mistake. Props for silverfish for being cool in response too. Back to topic, I'm from the UK and wondering if anyone can recommend a similar supplier over here?
I appreciate what you a are saying, and I do not disagree for your circumstance, but I'm an investor, not a collector. I buy based on value and expected return in the future. I store my coin in tubes of 20 or 25 and they are just as pristine in 5, 10,15 years as when I purchased them because I do not play with them. I see so many people out there "stacking" and treating them as toys as opposed to investing and putting them away for a rainy day. Having said that I admit I do like to look at them on occasion, as they are beautiful pieces of work, but I have a very limited number that I will use for this, maybe 2 eagles, 2 maple leafs, etc as we all like the feel of them in our hands and there is something rewarding about this. We just need to be smart about it, $75 that you paid for "protecfion" will buy you 3-4 more oz of silver and that will make you money in the long run, airtites are a waste of money in my opinion.
I found the beginning of the video very slimey (well packed, literally in a few hours) etc. and I wondered (again) if your recent shop slimey videos are real or spam. Your ebay link in your description uses the trksid paratemer. This is a tracking parameter to tell how many clicks came from where. I think we got you now. You make money promoting shops.
I like you knowledge on silver . I have no idea why I started buying silver in March of 2014 and I have not stopped buying since . I watched one of your videos and made a small purchase to see what silver was all about. Well after the first purchase I have since ordered just a little over 700 ounces mainly bars . I have never bought coins so on 12-31-14 I ordered 103 maples and a 103 eagles and 1 buffalo would it be wise to put them in air tites or will the plastic tubes work that come from the mint company ? I am a spender and since I have watched your videos I still spend but I spend my free cash on silver and it amazing to see at the end of the year just how much I could spend and still have value on what I spent . Thanks for your videos I am learning allot on silver buy watching your videos .
It is the "I" cap tube, they come in four sizes. "I" is the largest, and I dont know if you could tell from the video, but they fit the Perth Mint bullion perfectly.
Hi Stisicus, There are four different sizes, and the largest (which fits the Perth Mint capsules) is the 'I' cap tube.
Very nice review. I usually buy them already in airtites. But, there are a few I could use them for.
Thanks for that VT. Over here in the UK it is hard to get air-tires.

I guess thats a smart move for both having the possibility to feel/look at the coins and at the same time having the majority of them stacked away safely.
To for your answers.
Cheers !
I use the airtite for the one ounce eagle, it fits just fine.
Lol, no. When a business fixes a problem, that is a GREAT indication as to how safe it is to shop with them. They should be rewarded for that, not penalized. Jane is seriously a very nice lady, and she is working hard to build up this business.
Fish, thanks for the great vid! I've been looking for a great place to get airtite tubes.
Haha, I actually bought my first set of airtites from him. I love the packing job that he does.
Hi Eldi, I simply like the direct fits better. I dont like anything that detracts from the silver, but understand, this is just personal preference.
It really depends. I dont have a good way to store it securely, AND be able to get to it, without some inconvenience. I generally leave a few pieces out, to have, look at, hold, etc. When I want something new, I pull a few different ounces out, and put the other ones away. You are exactly right on fire.com is the only place I buy my air-tites. Great service, knowledge, and very nice to work with. They will help you with what ever you need. Silverfish is right.
Ok. Thank you so much! I have to pick up some of these
I ordered some air-tites a couple week back from Onfireguy, based on your suggestion. Got them really fast, nicely packed.
My next order though will be from coinsupplyexpress. They have supreme selection and great prices on just about anything you'd need.
Im not a big fan of the premiums for modern slabbed bullion, but I know that some are. Buy one, if you want, but I wouldnt stack that way.
Excellent coin stands.
Great info and review silverfish! I was thinking about air tights but right now I have more bars than coins. I dont think it would be worth putting a bar inside an air tight. Well when I get more coins I will know where to go thanks for the info!

Thanks again for another very informative and helpful video SF! Very glad I subscribed to your channel...Keep 'em coming!
Thanks, Silverfish...just picked up some airtites for my Maples from thm.
A normal bar? No, but my son had a coke art bar from the 70's, they get a nice premium, so he put that in an airtite. BUT, if you had a bar that you wanted to protect, they sell the airtites for them.
I ordered some from OnfireGuy a while back and everything you described is correct, awesome
THe problem is, they dont change the design, I realize that the queen is no longer there, but for the most part, they are minted to demand. I like them, but I dont really feel like they are a semi numi play, unless you get their initial year.
I used the Eagle airtite, its not a perfect fit, but it does the job.
Another thing I've noticed, I bought some airtites from Apmex and some from the air-tites site, and the versions with the rings have different outer diameters, for the same size airtite. So there are a couple different versions out there, just an FYI for people...
You got it, I will check it out tomorrow.
Lol, I think we're gonna need a bigger boat.
I've been getting my AirTite products from J.P.'s Corner of Mississippi, who do wholesale boxes of 250 capsule sets and have better prices even with individual or small purchases.
Yea I like them. Bought some air tites from them last month.
Thanks, I have been meaning to buy some of these!
I buy from onfireguy too. GREAT Canada Polar Bear AT's too. Great Guy !!!
The capsules that come with most of the Perth Mint Coins have a lip on them so you can use a small screwdriver to wedge open the capsule and handle the coin. Once you put a coin in an airtite you can't get it out. I'm surprised that nobody seems to be too concerned about this.
Thank you for the information.
I envy you as well as argentagent47 you two are top dogs when it comes to silver.....youtube wise except for one guy i seen purchase 54 kilo snake coins that was a big receipt but yeah awesome silver keep posting I'll keep watching
I'll look into it. I need AT's for my polar bears.
If you take a .999 bar, that is tarnished funny, you can slowly heat it up until it glows red, when it cools, it will look BETTER than when it came from the mint. That's who i buy mine from LOL..Found him on amazon only bought nickels and quarters plastic rolls there so far..They are good
THey sell them at their Ebay store.
ok it seems you're right.
ebay .com has that parameter by default, eg coming from search.
ebay .de doesn't have that.
Thanks for the info. I had been buying from airtites.com but will give these guys a shot. Free shipping is always nice.
Very smart move to keep the coins "air tight" like that, but I hope that someday soon people are fighting over a worn down, beat up, silver Roosevelt dime. ;)
You should Email them, and let them know what you are looking for, you never know, they may begin carrying that item.
Great info, thanks.

Thanks for the recommendation! I'm about to purchase my first numismatic bullion and I'm definitely gonna keep my pandas and libertads in these.
1000 years ago you probably be a high priest with all this silver and gold
And also storing them in a nice way so I would be able to go and see my nice collection from time to time. What would your tip be for one that dont stack but having thoughts of starting ?
I agree. And check out my first unboxing video if you get a chance. I hope to do another later this week.
I was curious if someone made tubes that would fit coins in air-tites. Sweet deal! Definitely going to check him out!
Interesting ...thanks!
Thanks, I usually shop at air tites (dot) com, but he beats them with free shipping, so I'll be checking him out soon. Thanks again
Hey Silverfish, really enjoy your channel and have been a subscriber for awhile. Had a question on this video, what is the size of the air tite tube that fits the perth mint bullion? I may have bought a bunch of dragons because of another one of your videos :)
Awesome! TYVM!!
Hi love your vids here on youtube and have re watched some of them a few times even =D
Now to my question.
Great informational video. They are the only store I buy from. Thanks for sharing with the community.
No, its all together.
great video ... onfireguy... is THE best out there... only place to find those tubes that fit the capsuled coins ... problem is dealers don't even know about them
That is really good to hear Slack. I have had nothing but great transactions from them, and its nice to hear that others have as well.
Thanks for letting us know about this.
thanks for this videos i was wondering where u got the airtite tubes... i love your stack..
Hey silverfish i was wondering where You would guess or expect the premiums on Fuji takus to go
Sorry, I meant which cap tube model hold the lunar series coins that are in air tites already. :)
Quick question that I pondered as I placed a late order Sunday evening: Would you spend the extra to buy a slabbed MS 70 Perth Mint Lunar coin? That way you know you are buying the best quality, it's in an air-tite compartment, and there's no disputing the quality. oh cool! i didn't know they had the plastic stands like that. I've seen them before but didn't know OnFireGuy sold those! Very cool man.
Hey SF!
Back to topic, I'm from the UK and wondering if anyone can recommend a similar supplier over here?
where can i get 1oz and 5 oz boxes for my silver bars
Where did you get the coin display V legs?
I appreciate what you a are saying, and I do not disagree for your circumstance, but I'm an investor, not a collector. I buy based on value and expected return in the future.
You make money promoting shops.
so? explain what the trksid parameter is and why you added it to the links.
Airtites without ring versus with ring.. pros and cons?
The lunar series comes in its own Perth Mint capsule
Thanks for your videos I am learning allot on silver buy watching your videos .

it's year to date.
I make my lcs guy charge me extra when I buy then I feel better when he “gives” me free airtites.
