    Thank you for this super encouraging video. I have all 7 signs in my quiver. When you buy consistently, you have dollar cost averaging. Sometimes you pay more, sometimes you pay less. But since both gold and silver (and especially silver) are extremely under-valued, even if you pay more, you are still getting a bargain. And it's a misnomer to think of these transactions as "buying". What you're doing really is "converting" useless paper dollars into a tangible, undervalued asset that will reward your effort in time. Patience and consistently are keys!

    Silver Heist, I am not a stacker, I am a collector. I failed 6 out of the 7 criteria for knowing you are a better stacker, except number 4, owning some gold. I collect silver and gold coins not for their weight or quantity. I collect them because I am genuinely interested in the design and history. Price matters somewhat but if I really like a coin, I will buy it no matter what. I honestly dont look at premium when buying. Have I overpayed for some of my coins ? Sure, but having those coins gives me pleasure, internal satisfaction that money cannot buy.

    • @AudioNumeric

      Actually, if you’re collecting silver and gold, even a little bit, you probably DID NOT fail almost any of these criteria. I’m willing to bet you actually checked off most of these 7, if you’re being honest.

Also when I can afford it I’ll buy fractional gold. 5,10,20grams bars.. anyhow, the last week when silver was up and gold was coming back down I offloaded 40Oz of silver and bought more gold.. all up I have about 150Oz of silver and just about 4 1/2 grams of 24 K gold bars all in assay cards. I started just a few years ago and , bought primarily while spot went back and forth between 17ish and 28 but with premium included inwouldnt go pay over 30 an ounce. With a few exceptions with eagles, which i paid more than i shouldve.
    I do feel, based on the few times ive sold , i shouldve been a lil more cautious about what i shouldve bought. Not because of the price i was able to sell for but the reason more so being what a shop was willing to buy in the 1st place. I found generic stuff was way more difficult to sell. Constitutional and eagles would have been easy but i choose to hold on to those. Where as when i went to sell generics the reason was more that places not being so interested seemed to be mostly cause of the amount they had in stock behind the counter. I only sold to see what it was like and what may be involved in doing so.

    • @SilverHeist
      @SilverHeist  7 месяцев назад +1

      Not sure! I looked around and couldn’t find any. I’ve gotten the British Britannia gold tubes from APMEX in the past but they’re sold out.
      Britannia and US eagles are 16.5 mm for 1/10 gold. Maples 1/10 are 16 mm diameter. So Britannia or eagles for in Britannia tube. Holds 25.
      Apmex has product 18431 1/10 gold tube US mint holds 50. Not sure if it will rattle but 16 < 16.5 so maples would fit.

      The Gold/Silver ratio is key. It's currently 1:84. Many experts say when it's over 80 buy silver. But gold to silver mined ratio is 1:10 or less. Silver values are being suppressed. Store some gold, but silver will eventually explode at a much higher pace than gold.

    I started stacking in 1998. And I'm still buying. My most recent purchase was a week ago just before gold and silver went up. I got another half ounce gold eagle and a tube of 20 one ounce silver bars from the Scottsdale Mint. Beautiful bars that are four 9's fine. Gold was at around 2,352.00 and silver was around 28.00. I was surprised when they both went up so suddenly. I've got so many different kinds of silver than you can imagine. From coins and rounds to Lego shaped and Dice. And a Ten ounce cube which is really cool. Also different silver bullets. Graded stuff, proofs, pre 1933. You name it I prolly have it. And monster boxes. You buy a little at a time and before you know it, it adds up! I don't buy gold coins smaller than 1/4 ounce. Too small. I do have a couple though. But keep stacking, it adds up and it's a better savings than paper money.

      So what will happen to the coins? Passed on to an undeserving heir? Sold off for dirt by an uneducated spouse? I always hear these “stackers” say I’m NEVER selling and well from my perspective that’s just stupid! I’ve sold all along the way the past 11 years taking profits and adding gold!!

      @@COUNTSLURPULA Heed your own advice, “You hear what you hear” I’m challenging your exit plan, don’t get ruffled by an opposing opinion, I could argue an “intelligent” individual would welcome that and possibly learn or be open to banter?
