Habits you should improve on: 1. clear your quadrants before or after a play on the map (be aware of your sequencing) 2. track the enemy jungler and give the information to your team, dont asume things 3. if the map allows it go for the aggressive play immediately dont sleep on these opportunities which will occure / dont force them either 4. look at THE MAP, punish players who are too aggressive
I've definitely found myself doing the first bad habit regularly as I've been trying to be more reactive instead of "MUST FINISH CLEAR". Will continue to improve, glad to know this is a widespread problem. Thanks!
im guilty of tip 3 not because i dont wanna take the outer most stuff first. i simply got burned so often by lanes with prio not using it despite spampings
Having a bot lane that crashed 2.5 waves into enemy tower and still trying to harass while i spam ping and hope for at least the support to come help me kill the opposing jungler and take all the camps and then take drag.. there's nothing more tilting
Been watching your videos for almost a year now. Managed to improve my jungling from low diamond to master so far. There is still a lot of good information for me, especially in different playstyles than mine. Thanks!
(Off topic but interesting comment) I plugged this prompt into ChatGPT and got back this response, I am tempted to try these champions now. But, I've also been known to be overly optimistic with learning new champions (aka I seem to be the worst person I know at learning new champs). Q: What are league of legends champions that are similar to BOTH Kha'zix and Vex? A: Kha'zix and Vex have different playstyles and roles in the game, so it may be difficult to find champions that are similar to both of them. However, some champions that share similarities with both Kha'zix and Vex are: Rengar: Like Kha'zix, Rengar is a jungle assassin who can evolve his abilities by collecting trophies from enemy champions. He also has a similar playstyle of hunting down and assassinating targets. LeBlanc: Like Vex, LeBlanc is a mid lane mage with high mobility and burst damage. She also has the ability to distort and manipulate the battlefield with her abilities, similar to Vex's Shadow Surge. Qiyana: Qiyana is a mid lane assassin with high mobility and the ability to manipulate the environment with her abilities, similar to Vex's Shadow Surge. She also has the ability to evolve her abilities based on the terrain she is currently standing on, which is similar to Kha'zix's ability to evolve based on the enemies he takes down. Kayn: Kayn is a versatile jungle champion who can choose to become either an assassin or a bruiser based on which path he takes. This versatility is similar to Kha'zix's ability to evolve his abilities based on the situation, and his playstyle of being a high damage assassin. Ultimately, it's important to choose a champion that suits your playstyle and preferences, so it's recommended to try out different champions and find the ones that feel the most fun and enjoyable to play.
Hey @Virkayu. I was wondering if you ever plan to do a video dedicated to improving specific techniques like picks, split pushes, intercepts (intercepting enemies as they run to join a team fight) and ambushes. Cause even once you've got the jungle formula down, eventually the game will deteriorate into constant team fights, and these are the things I try to do (with varying success) to take advantage of these constant groupings of 7-9 players in one spot. Advice on positioning and timing for ambushes, effective split pushing and chasing down more mobile champions could improve my game significantly, and I'm sure others who play skirmish and pick focused champs could benefit from a few tips. Thanks for the vid as always.
To add on to that, a lot of jungler’s (myself included) feel discouraged from making certain plays early especially contesting scuttles because of the serious lack of awareness and help from laners regardless of prio
I think one thing I need to learn how to regularly do is use the shortcut keys to check my lanes while I'm clearing the jungle, so that I don't just tunnel-vision on my camps when I have a freely gankable lane like that Jayce example.
I always wnat to take camps from opponent when I see them on opposite side of map and no obj is available, but 80% of the time I'm already stuck on one of my own camps. Should I ditch my camp to make sure I have time to steal theirs or should I finish camp and maybe just look to get a deep ward in since I know it will be contested if I try and take camp?
Too many factors into play to give you a "1 size fits all" answer. Like the video said, what camp are u on? What Camps of you jungle are still up? A scenario where you see enemy jng go bot and you are doing wolves with Blue and gromp up, skip wolves and go straight to enemy redside IF YOUR LANE STATES ALLOW IT. You can Always fall back and clear your quadrant after. You are on gromp but wolves and Blue are NOT up? Is it worth messing up your clear to go and get enemy Camps? You could talke
(2/2) You could take enemy Camps, fall back to gromp and reset or gank after but know your wolves gromp spawns will be desynced. You can fix this desync on your next spawn by playing for opposite side vision control/objective/gank and effectively wait until your spawners are synced again or you could invade Same enemy Camps you took earlier to effectively turn your clear into wolves enemy raptors enemy krugs your gromp. TDLR: GO for it if Lane STATES ALLOW IT and and you dont have to go out of your way to fix jungle clear after
Maybe a farming jungler, like fiddlesticks or if you really like assassins then evelynn. As someone who's been playing a lot of kayn lately, i really enjoy these two champs
Virkayu i hit gm in euw for the first time last season i was 180lp peak eune master u help me alot thanks hope i get chall soon i learn alot from your videos
I dive the botlane and "say" : "FOR THE HORDE!!! FOR SAURFANG!!!" Yeah, my neighbors love me for that xD I mean, im a jungler. I have to dive the botlane lvl 3 for the lead meanwhile i use this tactics
Thank you for watching! Join me on virkayu.gg to improve even FASTER! (JungleDiff117 is the secret code for giga junglers)

If I do mistakes I usually take my laners canon minnion🤷🏻♂️
(Dont do it, I just got told to 0/1 irl)

At 10:00 that is a lot of us, but I’d say it’s about 80 percent of the time that my bot lane just doesn’t rotate at all either
To add on to that, a lot of jungler’s (myself included) feel discouraged from making certain plays early especially contesting scuttles because of the serious lack of awareness and help from laners regardless of prio
@@zackuriahaketch74 That pisses me of the most. To many times I've been killed on guaranteed kills if bot or supp were simply more aware.

Great video! Going to bookmark it to come back to while I learn jungle!
Nice video, man
So many examples in your vids end up with the laners rotating with prio, but that is often not what happens in plat elo.
2:03 I mean I could cope for days the fact that a fiddle can R me from an entire screen away for a 3 second cc chain
0:47 ... Ayo??
free improvement what
definitely been guilty of these at times xD
you can just take the camp after the play like if you have a fight near you can leave a camp and take it after the fight
Hey man, still think mundo is viable for plat in the jungle?
yes
If gold is met, a poem ye shall ge...receive 🤔
every year? you mean every patch??
Obligatory comment to help with the algorithm slavelord. Pleasure to consume your content as always. Keep up the great work!
Haha getting +19 and -29 makes climbing kinda hard

Nice more notes.
Small tips, if u really have to rotate to opposite site, it's btr to just give up the whole side instead of farming one of it.
So this video is about BREAKING BAD (jungle habits)
MISTAH WHITE
Id love to learn all this, but it just blags my head more then it help :(
tracking timers and trackign players, just makes my head hurt
Can you help meh find a good champ that doesn't need 2 Ms and can climb too ez😊
Does someone have some jg champ recommendation (I play Kayn and nocturne but I wanted a 3rd one)
Maybe a farming jungler, like fiddlesticks or if you really like assassins then evelynn.
As someone who's been playing a lot of kayn lately, i really enjoy these two champs
just play what you enjoy, it's about champion mastery, not champion selection
Pantheon
It should be an AP champ, for when your team picks all AD you can be flexible.
Sejuani
Break bad? How? playing singed?
Virkayu i hit gm in euw for the first time last season i was 180lp peak eune master u help me alot thanks hope i get chall soon i learn alot from your videos
Lol if a mundo emote me like that i would target lock him the whole game.
