I ate a sardine years ago with my dad when I was 12 and I thought it tasted like shit. But I started watching your videos and a video on the nuri sardine plant. Now I eat a can of sardines for breakfast and another can in the afternoon.
Ever chill with a friend and not have to talk? That's what it's like watching your videos. I get to laugh and not feel pressured to be witty. Good stuff.

I'm looking forward to the day you open that tin of razor clams. Way back in the dark ages, when I was a kid, we ate whatever my Dad could dig or catch from the Long Island sound, and that included a lot of clams. If we were with him, and found razor clams, my parents always told us they were inedible. I can't wait to finally try them myself!
Razor Clams are the best clam. Hands down. They are delicious!
My dad use to save Tina from canned fish and pay a bum to eat it
He would put dog turds in them.

I’m in a dark place right now… wondering where Matt is and how he’s doing… I miss not only his show but hate not knowing how he’s doing either… the very cool, nice man that created such a channel… he certainly is/was a very unique person that I could relate a lot with too… we also need Slow Jabroni so badly too, but he may be in a dark place too… he once assured me Matt was well, but perhaps he took a turn for the worse… God forbid he got down and even did something crazy to himself… but I have problems crippled up, and know it can be so depressing after a life of being active… I thought Matt seemed stressed a few times… I wonder if he knew how many people love him… I’d watch him eating spam, anything as long as he talked about it… and I know so many would support him through injury or anything… he’s the only one that put pressure on himself…you are so missed Matt… I’m praying he’s still ok… the one thing I read on here was a cycling accident… May God bless him and his family… for anyone who knows if he’s alive or not please tell how or document how you know… I can’t find anything online… Your fans love you too Slow Jabroni, I hope you will continue making videos… ❤🙏
To be honest you got me hooked on my first can of sardines
I'm a big fan of canned mussels, scallops, oysters, clams. Same goes with trout, tuna, salmon and cod.
Those looked good enough that I have to put that brand on my list of to try. Thanks for sharing these delicious looking mussels. Can’t wait to see the oyster one soon.

I've never been a fan of clams, oysters, or mussels...and yet somehow you make me want to open a can and gobble 'em up. Are you some sort of a shellfish sorcerer?
Nana, they really don't have a lot of curb appeal until you get to a certain tier of quality. I would take these over the fresh(?) mussels served at 95% of seafood restaurants.

The baby clams, no, just soft… I’m really enjoying them now!!! I have one more razor clams too!!! I’ll have to order again, and I’m wanting to try cockles too!!! Between those and the eels, I’m loving what I eat!!! Lol…

I tried these because you did. I loved them. The scallops were the best though. I need more of their scallops in my life. The razor clams were not terrible, just hard to eat because of the odd shape/texture.

I just ate 2 cans of King Oscar Mackerel on a paper plate, hunched over my stovetop, with a side of store bought Reser's macaroni salad, a sliced up fresh jalapeno, and a Three Stooges episode playing on my phone (#bachelorlife). It was enjoyable, but didn't reach the level it could have if I would have been watching a new episode of CFF.

I highly recommend you try sopping up the oil/sauce for sardines and mackerel etc. with hunks of crusty bread, they make it such a satisfying meal with little extra effort.

Nice. Mussels are my favorite shellfish, especially simple/classic things like moulle frites. May have to try these some time.
I love the smoked canned mussels from Ekone. They are fantastic. As per escabeche, yeah its a rather vague term and varies country to country. My Filipino friends would take red wine vinegar and add dried red chile flakes, a little garlic, and sometimes hot sauce and call it escabeche to dip deep fried squid rings into and eat. It was pert dang good too for cheapness. On a final note...I have searched high and low and moled up and burrowed down deep into the ether of the interwebs to find those fine point chopsticks but with no success. Where can I find them? Another fantastic video flick Matthew. Mahalo!

I previously dabbled in tinned sardines. I went to Portugal recently on my honeymoon and came home loving all tinned fish! Love your channel for this stuff. Curious… how often do you eat tinned fish?

Been binging these since I bought a few cans of sardines and was wondering how other people ate them. Perhaps you could try some Korean canned fish products. The most common I'd think would be tuna with hot pepper sauce.

Those look good. I've had the Ramon Penas, and was surprised by how mild tasting they were. It wasn't a strong flavor at all, almost bland. But the genre holds promise, and I would like to try these.

I used to get daufuski smoked oysters from walmart. I think they're on the cheaper end I'm wondering what you would have to say with your expert palate. I thought they were good.
I HATE oysters, muscles and clams in any form other than tinned. Tinned smoked muscles were my favourite, though I don’t eat any seafood anymore if I can avoid it. Living vicariously through you

Nice, will try mussels, too. I like mackerel, almost untreated, canned. We mostly have it in brine from Geisha here, also salmon. Not really great.
