Love this kit. Thank you for revising it. I tried to install it in a prophecy but the prophecy doesn’t have rear supports for the back of the plunger tube so it kinks down and forces the catch up so it get stuck and wont release. So back in the Retaliator it goes! It works flawlessly in the Retaliator, its also compatible with Worker, AF Pro (with a slight modification to the mag adapter) and Katana mag adapters and their respective mags. Good job guys!
I'll have to grab one of these to do a video on! Loved the Hybrid Kit before, and still run my Recon MkII here and there that has it installed. Still performing quite well all this time later.
I was wondering why there weren't any videos about this kit. It's quite a good kit, but the main drawback is the weak material of the bolt and dart gate/fixed barrel piece (the 3d printed SLS material is smooth and lightweight but prone to breaking). The metal Recon MKII trigger is much wider and feels amazing compared to the thin, sharp, stock trigger. The expanded plunger tube isn't huge, but it requires no shell cutting and has a genuis brace/support design. The bolt seems to have feeding issues with talon magazines, but works fine with katanas (note that the Dart Zone universal adapter won't fit in a Recon MKII). The spring is also a nice design, as it is shorter than the stock and Worker springs. This means the spring delivers sufficient power, but is almost effortless to prime. The reinforced bolt sled is a nice touch, and I haven't had any issues with it. Lastly, the inclusion of two bolt sled pins is absolutely amazing, especially for Recon MKII owners- note that the Recon MKII doesn't have a metal bolt sled pin (it's _plastic_ which is _very weak_).
I wouldn't recommend buying the hybrid kit. It didn't come with plunger braces and lacked the power and durability that the newer fusion kit offers (I've talked to owners of the hybrid kit who all said it broke, or broke their blasters; I own a fusion kit and have no issues)
Was there ever a kit to convert an original orange alpha trooper to the direct plunger of an EAT? I love having my orange alpha trooper but would like to upgrade to a direct plunger some day
There wasn't but you might be able to retrofit a basic direct plunger (like one from a Retaliator) into an N-Strike AT. Note that people have already been doing this to upgrade Longstrikes, using custom or fabricated support pieces to ensure the Ret plunger tube fits securely.

Ok a revamp for a kit that's already available. But what about the Retaliator slamfire kit you promised would be out last year???
Is there a way to still get the hybrid kit parts that were removed for the fusion kit? I didn’t have a chance to get the hybrid kit before the switch

another expensive garbage.... i'd rather go for a lipless/boltsledless build..😂
