I love how the Astartes know Gulliman as the legion breaker, when the rest of the imperium currently calls him a legion builder. This is why I love 40k. The whole thing is a brutally beautiful tragedy.

@Phello123 I am not a Bobby G fan by far and love giving him shade, but calling him a politician is just too low. He is a statesman!! I don't think Bobby distrusted Rogal, he distrusted that much combined power. The problem is the power is there for a high lord, inquisitor, space marine or anyone else to hold / take. He was trying to ensure a problem didn't happen again, but you can't stop this problem from coming up it will happen.

The real only exception was for the Space Wolves because they didn't really do successors nor gave a shit about what Guilliman had to say.

I've always liked to think Dorn accepted the Codex on the grounds that when Terra needs them, his legion (all the chapters) will come to its aid. The Imperial Fists was one of the legions organised into chapters in the heresy too. They just needed splitting. But I'm sure Dorn would have wanted that regathering of his sons for Terra's protection and the chapter masters know that and so they don't question the call for aid.
