Do you have to reset the date and time each time you plug or unplug the camera into the 12v? Another question… Can you keep it plugged in and on for 24/7 security mode?
@@christie_616 not 24/7 and I suspect since it functions off satellite where it can track your speed real-time, likely a built in NTP server that communicates the date and time real-time each time it starts up
I had to turn on the WiFi manually on the device through the menu and depending on the mobile device, turn off and turn on the WiFi to pickup the internal WiFi signal of dashcam. You should be able to open the app and the app would recognize the WiFi connection to peer with your device
