Hi. We have not but I have been to the Bahamas in late October. Usually it is still quite warm. I have found that the weather in the Bahamas is very similar to what you find in Orlando, Florida. I would Google average temperatures in November and December for Florida and the Bahamas and you should get a really good idea of what to expect . It can get chilly but it’s not the norm in November/December. I find it quite chilly from January- March. So a very long way of saying I think in late November early December the weather should still be comfortable for the beach. Do be prepared for the rogue cold front. Thank you for watching!

I could not have asked for better weather. I am glad only a few of us get up early. The ship is so nice in the mornings when it is quiet, and then YES early on the island for some peaceful exploring and relaxing! Hugs my friend!
I paid a little more for my float and it was only for 1 but it came with "stuff" A pump, a dry pouch and something else. LOVE mine and it is super easy to pack when deflated.
My pleasure!! I really liked having it, nice to get out of the sun and it gives a little privacy. Totally worth 40 bucks! We were able to just walk up to it and wait for the attendant to set it up... about 2 minutes. Have a BLAST! Hugs! OH! Book it now, they are known to sell out on busier sailings!

I love Half Moon Cay. One of my favorite private islands. First experienced it back in 2000 while on Holland America and just love when Carnival goes their. We love the bbq, the seafood shack is great and it's just so relaxing. So much to see and the walk is beautiful!

You can always request a private table, on the first day of your sailing see the maître d and request it. We always do this, make sure you request it in the app for breakfast - when you check in for breakfast/sea day brunch there is a box to check. I completely understand how you feel. If the buffet were easier for me I am sure we would be there more often. I hope you have a blast on your cruise, I am sure you will! HMC alone is amazing! I really suggest you bring a little float though- walmart has them in the spring/summer. Something easy to blow up on the island. You can use it at so many of the ports! Hugs!
Hi, I use my iPhone 13 pro max, I have a case for my iPhone for in the water and I have a gopro. If you do not intend to use a GoPro frequently then I suggest a good quality dive case for your specific phone... any of the waterproof cases I have used always leak so I have switched to a dive case ( affiliate link - here is my specific case that worked very well for me. amzn.to/3nI9fKd). I will be going in April of 2024 and my son will be with me. I will be using a scooter to get around. Will I be able to get off the ship to get to the Island? I noticed that there are paved roads (thank goodness!). Did they have shops and can you get to that ship? I see a lot of photo opportunities there and I would hate to miss out on and have my son have all the fun that day. Oh, and what about hair braiding? Did any of the ports have them? Hi! We traveled with a friend in a scooter to HMC. At the end of this comment I will link that video. Hair braiding, I have not seen any vendors at HMC for that - I could have missed them. Yes, you can for sure ride the tender to the island, the crew will help you board the tender boats and help you disembark the tender boats. You should be able to navigate the entire island in a scooter, there may be sandy beach front spots that pose a problem but they do offer the large wheeled chairs ) designed for the sand) if your son can push you. You should be able to get to the ship, I have not been that way for a long while so I am not 100% but again, if your son can push you in the wheeled chairs if there is sand then you can get to it. Hi! They are available in shore excursions either online in your booking or once on board in the carnival hub app. I really recommend you purchase them as soon as possible after booking your cruise. Hi. HMC is amazing! Depending on the wind/weather the water shuttle ride is about 15-20 minutes. It can take a good 30 minutes to load and unload the boat. Have a blast and spend as much time as you can on the island! Hugs!
So it sounds like I have been assigned a task 🤔 😆. Yes you can get married at HMC. That would have been amazing to get married there, but we did have a small photoshoot with our cousin there since that was one of our ports of call on our wedding cruise. I would go there every sailing! Lol Hugs!🤗

Hi, I use this one: amzn.to/3H2F0Dm You HAVE to make sure you have it completely sealed. Also, it is only waterproof in calm waters. If waves start to hit it it will leak, I have found. Just putting it in the water for video/pictures I have not had an issue. My phone is water resistant so that makes me feel more comfortable, if it does leak I have not ruined my phone. I have linked you to the general page because I don't know what phone you have. I have an iPhone 13 pro max. Have a great cruise!
Yes! There is a buffet (included) and a lobster shack or seafood shack on the island. We have never tried them but I have shown them in previous vlogs ( Carnival Freedom vlog series). It is a basic buffet of hot dogs, burgers etc. Hugs!

Not at all. All those people came from the ship and have to return to the ship. And you have to show your ticket to get the clamshell so usually if someone does come up to use it they just don’t know you have to pay for it. (Never happened on HMC but another location) simply let them know and they will go or ask a crew member and they will assist. I’ve found a majority of passengers are kind, respectful and there to have fun like you so they are usually quite cooperative and easygoing. Have So much fun!!

Hi, yes you do need to reserve them, in advance on Carnival's website if possible. You will need to look up the current price on Carnival's website. At the time of this video they were $34.99 for the day. Have fun!
Hi Favor. What's the best way to get an early tender ticket without an excursion? Also, is there only one set of bathrooms? (Travelling with kids who wait until the lady minute to request a bathroom break.🤪)
There is more than one set of bathrooms. And if you are platinum or Diamond you can get priority tender otherwise you just need to be first in line. The time will be announced on your sailing. The line gets long fast so watch the time. It is usually located on a pool deck. That said, they go fairly fast. In the morning they will have a few tenders ready to go. Each one holds 300-400 people... I never would have guessed that but they said it at some point on this sailing. For sand toys I have seen parents bring collapsible bowls, measuring cups and containers for their kids to play with. easy to shove in a suitcase! Hugs my friend!
