Back with another street photography POV photo walk video! It hasn't snowed much this winter so I was really excited to go out and shoot during this recent blizzard here in NYC. I took my A7R IV along with my Pixel 6 Pro. I had prime lenses on my A7R so being able to use the Pixel to shoot wide, normal, and tele shots allowed me to capture more moments that I otherwise would have missed.
And after reviewing and editing the photos, the quality of the Pixel shots look really good compared to the Sony. Overall I was really happy with the results and the images captured. I tried to emphasize that nostalgic cinematic feel through the edits and hope you all enjoy.

I forgot to mention in the video: After having the convo with the guy in the beginning, it really made me think about what our phones are capable of and influenced the rest of my photowalk. Instead of thinking of my phone as a secondary camera, I was using it as another primary with a different set of lenses.
Hope you all enjoyed this video! This was one of my favorite photowalks of the year so far. Let me know which photo was your favorite!
Can you please share your lr preser?
I love your message. If you have a shot in your mind and you go out there and take it, you're a photographer. Gatekeepers aren't welcome here 👏👏
Pixel 6 is awesome. I’ve been following u for a while really like your style.
Hey thanks! Really appreciate it. Thanks for watching
i love these pov with smartphone ( not so many people do this on youtube btw ) , hope you do more of them , also you should try out the S22 ultra expert raw and give us a thought on that .
Thanks! Stay tuned for more phone videos. My order is delayed but believe me, I will be creating a video as soon as I have it in hand!
@@azvisuals lmao i guess everyone's order are delay Samsung pre order for the whole S22's line breaking record since their's first S line .
Thanks for adressing what the guy said, I felt bad for him when he said that. Like his creativity isn't as valuable because you have more expensive gear. I hope he was just trying to be polite, though. Edit; I'm also glad you took advantage of this weather, I love your NY walks.
Yeah I think he was just being polite haha but still, capture the shot!
I know you posted this vid a long time ago, but the algorithm sent me here. I really like the message you conveyed about desire, creativity, and eye over gear and honestly the pics I like the most in this montage are some of your pixel 6 pics. I'm glad you had that interaction with that guy and hopefully he sees/saw your video and was inspired.
Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching! I need to get back out there and do some more photo walks for sure.
One of your best videos. Do POV with the S22 and OnePlus 10 Pro! Love the message bro keep it up.
Thanks! Unfortunately I didn't receive tester units for those devices :( However I did order the s22u so hopefully that can get here soon!
Wish you would do more of these, really enjoyed the comparison of how the pixel 6 pro can keep up with a real camera. Also you gave me some inspiration of how to take better photos with my pixel 6 pro
Thanks! I will try to do more phone vs camera or back to back shoots!
I was in NYC the last weekend of January when one of the winter storms hit. Seeing your camera covered makes me feel fortunate that nothing happened to my A7 A7IV when it got covered in snow. 😬
Yeah the weather sealing of the A7RIV is pretty good but I didn't want to risk it! A cheap camera cover was worth the pace of mind. Of course with the wind blowing a bunch of snow and ice still formed on the camera and lens but it was better than nothing
Doesn't matter the equipment , just go and click! ✌️
Love this vibe soo much! and super beautiful shots
Really appreciate that!
Wait for Pixel 7 photography
I used to live in Flushing, riding that 7... nice memories. Cool vid and thanks for making it. Did you try out the motion modes on the Pixel? I'd love to get some nice subway shots with the 7 train crisp with a blurry background...
Nice! I love Flushing. I didn't get a chance to try motion photo on this shoot (although I wish I did) but in my other Pixel 6 videos I tried it a lot and I love using it. So fun!
I liked all of them! When I was using my Nikon D90 with the 18-105mm, which is a big system, people would react differently depending on the situation. In the museums I always had a guard acting as my shadow, at exhibitions I was welcomed as a member of the press, at gatherings I was the one who had to take photos of everyone because I had the big "professional" camera. Yes, it's not about the gear when you shoot photos, but size matters 😁 People think that they are dealing with a pro, so they stand aside. And although in most situations I was explaining that the big camera system was an entry level camera, in other situations it was so satisfying when they thought I was an important photographer! 😂
Nice comment! I had a D90 back then too. And yeah it does come with pros and cons! Shooting with something like an A7r IV at an event and people will look at you kind of funny because the camera seems small, but has one of the largest FF sensors.
loved it...i know im late...
When is presets? Please
Wow , it's been a while since I've dropped by. I really enjoyed those images. My favorite was the snow blower. Thanks for your detailed explanation of how you work. Your videos are inspiring!
Thanks for coming back! I agree, that was a great shot :)
Did you use a camera cover? Or it's just a plastic bag on your camera?
I have a neewer camera cover but for this video I only used a plastic bag because I forgot it
This is quite common and sad, It was filmed on 4k but upload quality maxed out at 1440p, doesn't say hdr or 60
Unless you are using an xperia phone your phone aint really displaying 4k resolution even if the youtube vid say 4k
phenomenal video
OMG I really love you
Snow fall😮😮
Relaxing video ,just waiting for more
Thanks for watching!
Whats up bro, I wanted to get into photography and start posting it on my Instagram page any tips before I start? P.s. I have an s22 phone to shoot with.
Awesome! How are you liking the S22? I think you should just go for it and start posting! IG growth in general is pretty slow now focus on the craft first, and as you get better your following will grow.
@@azvisuals thank you for the words of advice and the s22 has not disappointed at all huge upgrade from my last phone and the camera is one of the main reasons I was excited to get the phone
My combo! A6400 and Pixel 6 pro
Oh nice!! Compact and powerful
Love these videos of you doing these walks
Thanks for watching!
keep up the great work man never give up !!!🤟
Appreciate it!
ledgit bro!
7 Train for life! #ThatCreativeLife
Thanks for watching!
I am a fan of the editing here because it's not extreme stuff like many others do on RUclips. These look more organic.
Really appreciate the effort of you to go out and take photos on this snowy day, and the photos tuen out great!! You do have good eyes for the composition, keep up the good work!! (Also i can't believe this video is not getting a lot of attentions)
