I like how you collect your stuff in powder and don’t melt right away smart way to get to a nice kilo bar

How did you know that you had palladium in the relays? Or is it something you check for before getting the silver. Great video can't wait for the next one

sir i often watch your video if for palladium precipitation if DMG is not available then ammonium chlord can be used instead which one is better

Hi, very good work! To get silver from silver oxide I use hydrochloric acid and zinc and a magnetic stirrer.

    • @BohumilGraman
      @BohumilGraman  3 года назад

Yes, it's a way (from chloride, not oxide), but silver is not that pure.

  • @PatriciaGonzalezoto

Did you add DMG without neutralizing the solution? Could you remove the filtered gold, then do CHL for the silver, then neutralize it and do Sodium or Potassium Metabisulfite for any gold diluted by the percentage and purity of the nitric and once only Palladium remains made dmg? It is a question and if the material had lead or tin, wouldn't it be better to put it there first?

Thanks for your videos. Please tell me should I wash silver oxide AgO with water before adding glicerine? One more question. What is approximate amount of NaOH & glicerine you used in this video to get 111g of metalic silver?

I'm new to this, and just wanted to say, out of the videos I have watched so far, you make it quite easy.. Only thing, like I said I'm new to this, and have no background or experience with chemicals, now I know you said you washed it several times with "hot water".. But you skipped the step on camera.. How would one do this.. And any further advice or tips you might have for a beginner would be appreciated. Thanks

Why use glycerin to convert silver oxide to metal? Doesn't silver oxide lose the oxygen atoms and convert to metallic Ag when heated?

    Hello, I am Edgar.
First of all thank you for your great videos they have always been very helpful!
At the moment I have a small problem and hope you can help me with this?
I have a bucket full of Nitric solution, it was crystal blue green.
Now I have 15 grams of DMG solution to counter palladium!
Unfortunately, the solution has only become dirty green and by filtering it will not be clear!
    What can I do?
I would like to win the palladium and silver from the solution ????
I hope you can help me.
    Edgar
