You two should be very proud, you are fantastic parents. The love for your children just pours through the screen. You make me one happy Grandfather, thank you Family you made my day. Love from NSW 🦅🦘
Just be careful picking up see shells there is one that can kill an adult it is the cone shell also from where you are there stonefish look them up an the web just so you know what to look for
I second that Aussie -63 and would like to add that your sense of fun and energy is infectious! I'm really glad you returned to see more of Australia, as we love having you❤ Safe travels and best wishes from Melbourne, Vic.
guys by the time your young lass hits 10 years old she will be teaching people how to survive in any situation , kudos to you as parents well done guys 👍💜
You can go to a Bunnings and buy a tap adapter key so if you come across a fitting with no tap to turn this will get you out of trouble. They don't cost much at all. Something handy to keep in your glove box. 👌
As well as the tap key adapter, you can also get a laundry tap hose adapter, which is essentially a flexible rubber boot with a hose clamp, which will help you connect to non-screw-on taps.
G'day. My top tip is , get a different hose. You need one that is "Food grade". The one you have can taint your tank with a rubber taste. This will be more noticable of the hose gets hot (from the sun). Once the tank water gets spoilt you will have dramas cleaning the taste out.
@TheWickmansLife2024 I'd say the coastal drive from Mooloolaba through to Noosa. Some great beaches and coastal towns along the way. Weather permitting of course 😉
Hi guys I’m an Aussie, living in Brisbane, my grandad was born Louisville Kentucky. But I’m glad he came out here 80 years ago. Anyhow some tips, on your QLD adventure, north of Hervey Bay. I recommend you stop at Agnes Waters, it has a lovely north facing beach like Tea tree bay at Noosa & Snapper Rocks. & 1770 just up the road is a beautiful inlet, with great fishing. Then it’d be great to onite at Heron Island, which is a small helicopter ride from Gladstone, or take the ferry. & snorkel the wrecks, the turtles there are epic. Then the Keppel group of islands off Yeppoon is a very pretty day out. Eungella National Park is the next worthy destination. If you want to do a day trip from Airlie beach go to Whitehaven beach, you will be blown away. Then I’d go to the Boulders north of Innisfail, a great waterhole. Next I’d do the skyrail at Cairns. Then go to Mossman gorge near Port Douglas. Then I’d do a tour of the Atherton tablelands, very pretty up there. If you want any more tips let me know🙏 You’ll have to do what my grandad did & move here?…🙂
First off that’s crazy your family is from Kentucky! Much different from Australia for the most part! You definitely got lucky there! We would love to move to Australia. Maybe one day but thank you so much for all the good for places. We will definitely be going to some of those places!
Unfortunately, we don't cater for campervan travel very well in Australia. At least, not like Europe where they have free sites to utilise...great video guys..heaps of enlightening info..the vid down the slide is a first!😊
Hi guys. Please note that the six weeks school holiday will start in a week and you may need to start booking ahead. National parks are cheap to camp in but you need to book
If you ever get back to NSW, maybe you could visit The Dish out at Parkes NSW. You could give us some of your NASA knowledge and thoughts on it;s contribution in 69. I sat on a floor watching it at school on a BW tv. I can still remember it like it was yesterday. Most amazing thing I have ever seen on tv. There is a Aussie movie about it called funny enough, The Dish. Take care Guys, love your work.
If you haven’t yet, Would love to see you guys experience the Northern beaches of Cairns! I grew up on the central coast, then the Gold Coast surrounded by lovely beaches but they are nothing in comparison to what’s up north in my opinion. Any beach from Yorkeys Knob up to Ellis Beach is unbelievable. It has AMAZING fishing, surrounded my the Great Barrier Reef as well as the oldest, most biodiverse rainforest in the world. Theres endless waterfalls and places to learn about Tjapukai Aboriginal culture. It’s really a whole other atmosphere, so tropical and the locals are amazing, I guess people are just happier there lmao. (Of course make sure to avoid going during stinger jellyfish season if u want to be able to touch the water😅)
All the service station has the screw on tap. It's next to air compressor. They don't have them at the parks any more to stop people wasting water filling up their inflatable pool and slippery slides etc... It was a popular thing to do on Australia Day holiday. The Busselton Jetty in WA is over 2km long. There is a training that takes you to the end of the jetty where there is an underwater observatory.
I am 77 and live in an area with plenty of kangaroos. I still love seeing them, especially if they come into my yard. They always leave their calling cards.
follows your travels through OZ> you happy little vegemites.. make sure you enjoy yourselfs. Imagine the memories your little nippers are gaining. They have all their lives to talk about it. TAKE CARE.
WATER: Go to any petrol station/gas station. Most will have a hose, it is usually near the air. So not near the pumps, usually on the side somewhere (but usually there is a sign).
Woolworths down here in Melbourne the shelves are getting emptier then usual..the wearhouse workers are on strike .oh well l got coles supermarket just up the road a few kilometres.
@TheWickmansLife2024 The best part of the Sunshine Coast is Mooloolaba to Noosa. Noosa is a World Surfing Reserve. For a surfer not to go to Noosa is like an Elvis fan not going to Graceland. You must go back to Noosa.
You will notice as you drive our highways and freeways. the lack of bill boards for advertising, they are largely banned in Australia as being ugly and distracting for drivers
My guess is that you guys won’t leave willingly , because your young and both skilled people you need to apply for residency. Don’t leave it to late I spent 9 months in America with work, in LA and New York it is not a place I would want to bring up my children, however Florida may be better. But where ever you have guns legal you have added risk . So apply for residency and ensure your family have a little more safety than they would normally have in USA. Australia loves you guys
Hi Mate I've been watching your vids for a while and am enjoying you and your family having a great time in Australia 🦘🦘🦘 if you're going to Bundaberg try going Goodwood Rd way and past Foley's Rd and the bush on the right hand side of the road in the open land you might be lucky enough to see the emu's,,, have a great time here Mate and I count your family as temporary Aussies
Travelling with little kids is exhausting enough but you guys still have the energy to also pump out excellent videos! I take my hat of to you both.
Thank you! It’s a lot that’s for sure!

That’s a great idea thank you!
That’s also helpful thank you!
You really have a beautiful family. Such positive vibes.
Thank you!
I think it's great how you don't over protect your kids. Keep it up.
Thank you!
Another great day!
Yes it is!
G'day. My top tip is , get a different hose. You need one that is "Food grade". The one you have can taint your tank with a rubber taste. This will be more noticable of the hose gets hot (from the sun). Once the tank water gets spoilt you will have dramas cleaning the taste out.
That’s good idea. Thank you!
Well the kids are having fun so hopefully it wears them out and mum and dad can have a peaceful night.
Yes! That would be nice!
Love watching your adventures. Keep posting.
Thank you! We will!
Pronouncing Harvey Bay the Australian way now well done.😊

You're kids are turning into 'happy little vegemites' 🙂
Yes they are lol
Thanks for the history lessons guys.
No problem thank you for watching!
Glad you enjoyed Burrum Heads, our little piece of Paradise.
Thank you! Burrum Heads is really cool
Love the videos and vibes from you guys
Thank you!

Thank you!
Glad the kids are having a good time. Live is nothing without kids.
That’s the truth! Thank you!
Oh wow, you guys bypassed the best of the Sunshine Coast 😮
Where is that? We aren’t done with the Sunshine Coast
@TheWickmansLife2024 I'd say the coastal drive from Mooloolaba through to Noosa. Some great beaches and coastal towns along the way. Weather permitting of course 😉

@ Awesome. Any questions about my tips just ask👍Enjoy your trip 🙂
Hervey Bay is awesome 🌴🏖👍 chicken as bait never fails
Harvey bay is awesome and clearly the chicken works because that gentleman caught the only flathead while we were there!
you can generally get water at the servo (gas station)
Ok cool awesome thank you!
@@TheWickmansLife2024 And it is free.

All good, we will make it works no matter what. Thank you! That park was pretty cool!

Gotcha okay cool that makes sense! Thank you!
Many years ago, my wife and I had our honeymoon at Harvey Bay, awesome place, we did a lot of fishing off the sand bars and caught a heap of whiting.
That’s really cool! We love whiting!
I am 77 and live in an area with plenty of kangaroos. I still love seeing them, especially if they come into my yard. They always leave their calling cards.
That’s cool they never get old but they definitely always leave there calling card! Lol

Ok cool! Thank you! That’s going to be helpful!
@@TheWickmansLife2024 If they don't have a hose, they will at a very minimum have a tap (faucet), so if you have your own hose you can still connect.
Woolworths down here in Melbourne the shelves are getting emptier then usual..the wearhouse workers are on strike .oh well l got coles supermarket just up the road a few kilometres.
Dang that’s crazy! Hopefully that ends soon. We shop at Cole’s a lot as well!
Theres been a big push across lots of australia to make our kids parks better, they all kinda look like that now from what ive seen around
Yeah from what we’ve seen too, they are really nice!
Most sporting fields and parks have taps
Ok cool thank you!
Try magnet fishing magnet 🧲 rope. 👍
Never done it but we have seen it. Would be cool!
Yeah you always have to watch out for Pelicans that sit on light poles as they like poop from up there and it can spray 😁
Yeah that would of been a hard way to find out lol
Go to bunnings and grab a tap key...
I honestly was wondering if they had a key for it. Thank you!
Check the turtles on the beaches in Bundaberg
That sounds fun!

We are going to both of those places!
btw. love your accents. are you from the south ?
They're from near Orlando FLA.
Thank you! We are from Central Florida!
Come on guys, as we say in Australia it’s time you ‘bit the bullet’ and settled down and become Australian. You would fit right it.
We would love too!
@ you should do it.
You will notice as you drive our highways and freeways. the lack of bill boards for advertising, they are largely banned in Australia as being ugly and distracting for drivers

Yeah that’s really something we need to do! Maybe we will make it happen! Would love too!
Stay in the left lane mate
Will do, my brain gets confused
Half an hour to an hour before sunset best for fishing and in WA any time is good with the best of the best Beaches ⛱️
Nice! We want to come to WA!

The turtles at Mon Repos might be laying eggs by the time the Wickmans return from Daintree.
Okay cool! Thank you! Would love to see emu’s. The kids would love it! Thank you for the support!
That would be cool to see as well!
Bundaberg also has a free small zoo
That’s terrible ,the cities should provide easy access for travellers to water ,.Bins are also a nightmare to find .thanks for another great video
Yeah we have some awesome tips from comments, but I agree would make it much easier!
ROUNDABOUTS. Thumbs UP, thumbs down? 😮😮😮😮
I live in the bush, we can't afford fancy things like that. Maybe we could put a garbo in the middle and give it a crack.
Umm 50/50 I love that it keeps everything moving but sketchy because I forget I have to stop for ppl coming and they can be stressful when busy
