First wave was a nice one.
4:50 Things could be worse dude. Atleast you're not a Florida State (1-9) fan!! 😂
5:45 Been to Andamanda twice before but have never rode before. The line moves super slow. Like one raft every two minutes or so. Takes forever. Need to get there early to ride it!!!
9:58 Laem Singh Beach is a private beach. Can only get there by hiring a longhail boat. There is a walking path to get there but it's occasionally closed off.
An awesome couple who would fit rights into the way of Australian life. Hopefully, they will return to Australia soon.
3:13 During monsoon season alot of plastic trash gets washed ashore from neighboring counties. The beaches there are much cleaner during the dry season (December thru April). Water is much cleaner and bluer too when the seas are calm.
3:45 During the monsoon season alot of plastic garbage gets washed ashore from neighboring countries unfortunately. Beaches in Phuket are much nicer during the dry season (December thru April). During dry season the seas are calmer and the water is cleaner and clearer.
Glad you liked it. However, “you ain't seen nothin” Australia has literally 10,000 beaches! "if you want to go surfing, try Bell's Beach in Victoria, It's where they hold the surfing championships. While down at Bell's Drive along the Great Coast road. If you think the Gold Coast was brilliant to photograph, you better take a knapsack for all the photo storage cards. It is amazing. Back to the Gold Coast, pity you didn't go into the hinterland behind "Surfer's" less than an hour by car (1 day, trip). If you want to get up close with wildlife and see birds you didn't know existed, hand-feed them. In the sanctuary. Go for hikes in subtropical forest national park, swim/ paddle in the mountain streams/pools, all along clearly marked tracks rated for different abilities, distances, and times to walk them, tracks. Not far away is a mountain range shops, orchards handicrafts, great little coffee house with ice cream for the babies. On one walk you can see the coast and sea. 180 degrees and you can see miles and miles of plains and off in the far distant 2.5 hours by car the Australian Dividing ranges. The other side of them is well after that "he really BUSH" Red dessert, stone desserts the real salt bushes, scraggly trees wild cattle country, flies, mosquitos and heat in the day and chilly at night. AKA The real dinkum OUT BACK. Kangaroo (the real ones, Big Reds) males over 6ft. The ones in your picture were coastal greys Or wallabies, even smaller. Of course, there are emus. The sky is so much bigger, and the stars are overwhelming there are other things to see out there but get a guide, don't go on your own without real preparation. Drive to Mount Gambia on the border with South Australia. Go to Kingston in the SE, the seafood it's also amazing. A bit further, and you are in Red wine country. Park up for 3 days ...one for visiting the wineries and the next two to sober up. If you keep going you'll hit Stirling, it looks like it should be in England or New England in winter it is cold foggy and often snow. A few kilometres down the mountain, and you are in Adelaide. When we were on secondment there, it was the MOST FAMILY ORIENTATED CITY IN Australia. Almost every family belonged to an average of 6 interest clubs. We belonged to 10 (they ranged from friends of the Zoo to friends of the museum. A club for dads and sons, another with dads and daughters. Junior field naturalists (mom and Children) field naturalists (the whole family), Wives Only club the CSI RO science club and Rotary. All these clubs had interesting supervised events for the children during the school holidays and some weekends. Our children were never bored. We'd had enough of moving and the corporate politics, so we left and went 'home' Just before Trump1, after R v W was overturned and Jan 6. We could see what was coming and emigrated from Queensland. While in Stirling /Adelaide, we toured greatly and can attest, "You ain't seen nothin yet"
Oh god, in tropical waters, particularly in Australia, there is a Blue blue-ringed octopus that hides under the ledges in rock pools. It is speckled gray but when disturbed it will develop small iridescent blue rings all over its body, that's a warning to anything that disturbs it. Make no bones, it is DEADLY, the poison is related to the puffer fish. I'm told it's a neurotoxin and painful. Bites are very rare, as are deaths. But with younger children, we found it wise to use a plastic egg slice (spatula) and run it all around the underside edges of any rock pool they want to play in. I don't know of anyone actually seeing one in the wild, but at another rocky beach, the lifeguards had one in a jar. They had found it and caught it in a small rock pool and were waiting for a marine research station to pick it up. The only other one was in a large aquarium on the Sunshine Coast other (Northside) side of Brisbane, like Surfers but less amusement parks and more beaches.
Hopefully you get to come back one day. You need to visit Margaret River, Rottnest and Ningaloo over here in WA.
Hope you come back and settle here
Love Japan. Been going there for holidays since the 90s. You have had such a great adventure and look forward to your return to OZ. Have a good flight!🎉
Hi guys when u do come back hire a camper van and travel the outback u will love it…
Aww so nice you are here 😊
Hope you had a great time and would like to have you back. Ifyou like beaches and outside, the east coast has a higher population and hence more crowded beaches. I grew up on the Mid west coast of Australia. It was common to have a beach to yourself. The South West section of Western Australia is more temperate with some nice forested parts and is where Margaret River is located. You may also be interested in going north past Geraldton, through to Kalbarri (look at the pink lakes on the way as well as the gorges on the coast). North West is tropical and Monkey Mia is where a wild pod of dolphins come in to shore. I have seen dolphins in the Swan river in the centre of Perth before as well. Fishing is good all along the coast, but notably in the North West. We look forward to seeing you all soon. Hope your travels go well. P.S. Don' forget to visit the quokkas at Rottnest island as well. They will be happy to see you.
Plenty of great places in Australia to see be careful of the people don't worry about the animals the rest of the world still send the worst of the worst to Australia still
Queensland! The sunshine state baby ☀️☀️☀️❤😊😂
You will be welcome to come back to Oz. Cheers. 🇳🇿🇳🇿
You guys sound so lovely. I live at Hastings Point, ten minute drive from Kingscliff. I work at Broadbeach on the GoldCoast. I loved your prespective on Australia as a young family. Hope you come back and stay longer next time xxx
our arms a re wide open waiting for your next visit cousins. Please take care.
You MUST see DORRIGO
What was that truck about?
The owner just showed up at the beach. I think he was just showing it off.
amazing video!
Thank you!
Until you also visit the centre of Australia you have seen nothing yet, the spectacular sites and geographical unique wonders of the desert country, are not able to imagine, google things to do around Alice Springs, as there are way to many for me to explain, without writing thousands of words. Best of luck in your travels
Known as the Lucky Country for a reason
I grew up in the Australian bush, been here my whole life and Im older than you guys. I've seen precisely one koala in the wild in my life, you were very lucky that day!
So glad your girl's tooth was a baby tooth. Glad you had a great time. Love from Mount Glorious. Like many Aussies are commenting, your family is the type of people we need here.
The best surf beaches are in South West WA. It’s also a great part of the country to visit for wineries etc.
I'm very pleased you enjoyed our country so much. You would be welcome anytime.
dude! you are freaking good !!
Thank you!
Just watched your experience and so glad you enjoyed it so much. You’ve seen nothing yet. The west coast is both the remotest and most beautiful untouched country in the world. You’ll also see the best of western sunsets on the planet every day. Check out Western Australia online.

Welcome. FYI, Sydney is not the centre of Australia like so many Sydney people think.
Hi guys, this randomly came up in my feed, I hope you can respond to my comment. I must say, you are both so positive and lovely people, thanks for the nice things you've said about Oz. Youve only seen the tip of the iceberg! The Gold Coast is one of the busiest places on the East Coast. Ive surfed many of the point breaks south of the GC and believe me when i say, you have to come back! I now live in WA and if you think the beaches are good on the EastvCoast, you should see WA beaches, and its so wild here in general. Often youll go to a beach and there will be nobody else there. Then theres all the high country in Victoria and NSW to explore, the Great Ocean Road in Vic (more surfing) the deserts, the tropical top end, The Kimberley and The Gibb River Road, The Great Barrier Reef. You need at least a year here in Oz!
Thank you for such a positive comment!! We absolutely love your country! So much so we decided we had to come back after our Japan trip!! We rented a van and the 4 of us are hitting as many recommended places we can!! Stay tuned! 😊
If I had saved all my money up to the age of 14, I would have had maybe $300. You had $10k. Saying that anyone can do what you are doing is far fetched. You were making $100k per year at Nasa, so that puts you into the top 15% of money earners in the USA and well above the median household wage. Sounds like you are both good savers, yet having a high paying job makes saving a lot easier.
That is all true, but Also remember only one of us worked. So split that wage in half.
@@TheWickmansLife2024 I realise that, hence why I noted your wage is well above the median for a household. Awesome that you can do what you do.
TINY日本をイジメるのは本当に可哀想だよ。
What?
Looking forward to seeing you back down under! Any places in particular you're planning on visiting - maybe some you missed last time?
We are going are to try to see as much as we can! East coast
@@TheWickmansLife2024 Here's a tip. When you get to Ozz, don't travel the Hwys, go the back roads.
Great to hear you are coming back to Australia. Safe travels.
Thank you! Can’t wait!
Hey mate, who did you go with for the fishing tour?
We just met a local boat mechanic and he got his friend to take us.
@ got the spot that he took off at maybe his got a business there :)
both of you are beautiful and wise couple inside out, bravo
Thank you!
What wonderful visitors! We hired a 4WD in Perth and if you like left handers Red Bluff north of Carnarvon in WA looked like fun. North of that is 300 km of dirt track with the Ningaloo coral reef as close as 50 m from the sand. Towns like Coral Bay and Exmouth are magnificent. Heading east there is 4000 km of red dirt road and epic landscapes and experiences, including Karijini National Park
If you take some bananas with you on a walk, cut little chunks and you can hand feed wild kangaroos. (This is not something that kids should do or be near when doing, and watch for the roo to prop itself on its tail and tippy toes - coz that is when they are about to kick).
Great to get your impressions. Why not consider moving here? We now live in Melbourne coming up to 26 years, a completely different climate but moving from the UK it is now our home and every time we return from a trip Europe, we get a feeling of space and brightness regardless of Melbourne's weather which is 'changeable'.... great cafe culture, fashion, sport, arts, and diversity; the city is full of surprises. Actually, all the cities have something special however to visit the 'outback' and the 'top end' gives you a new experience, remember most of the population lives on or near the coast so the place is empty. Like the USA there are so many climates. We brought up our kids in a relaxed, and outdoor environment a lot of freedom, they thrived, now married with Aussie children of their own. Worth pointing out that the country is 'miles from everywhere ' so getting to places outside the country like the US or Europe is a bit of hike. The health service is extremely good and affordable - you don't have to have personal medical insurance, but it does help. Also, we have the same number of days for holidays and sickness as most countries in Europe. I'm sure your friends would have given the low down.
300 years and there would be things you hadnt seen
Basically Kingscliffe is not the Gold Coast. It's in New south Wales. The Gold Coast starts in Queensland. Surfers Paradise is the part that Aussies hate. The rest of it is great.
If you liked the Gold coast check out Sunshine coast
American here who has lived on the Gold Coast for 10 years. Australian citizen for 6 years now. Will never leave! Glad you got to experience it!
Pretty amazing place!
😂 He did not want Ariah taking his Pokémon card. I see that almost 2 year old attitude starting to peak out.
Oh yeah he’s starting to get his own personality it’s so cool to see
