May was a weird budget month-I spent way too much money on outdoor decor but also paid off my student loan in may. It felt like I had a great step forward and then I felt the spending guilt!
@@Angela485 thank you!! It feels incredible to be one step closer to financial freedom… although I think I celebrated a little too much! Time to buckle down and get back to work :)
Great reminders that our Budget needs to be fluid and tweaked to enjoy the seasons we can enjoy. 💙💜💙 I loooove listening to Podcasts while I'm driving and while I'm cleaning. I really get into my zone!!! 🤩 I'm trying to be more of an outdoorsy person, but I get bit up by mosquitos pretty bad! 🙃
Thank you for sharing ❤️ I'm so happy you show when things are real and authentic as it is in human life with all its ups and downs. Electronics and it's spells is a real thing and a challenge for both small and big 😜 I look forward to the next recap and can't wait for more videos here.
May I went a little over so I went on a June no buy but then June was a mess so far, because i decided to finally get a couple counters to create a more functional kitchen and i hadn't planned on summer camp for kid but she begged for it... Gonna be doing a no buy July now lol. Whenever I do a no buy on small stuff, i just think "now I can buy the big items I never have enough cash for because I spend it on the small stuff" 🙃
I work part time at my local library and we're in full swing Summer Reading program!! A lot of outside events to earn points toward the grand prize, "Grab n Go" kits for a small craft project, a "Brag Tag" to collect every week for checking out your books....story walks through town. GREAT advice, Miko!!
I’m happy this works for you guys . Mine just don’t run so smooth and I just can’t stay on track. The way hubby gets paid is soooo hard to save in savings , save sinking funds , and cash envelopes and pay all bills at the same time . It’s frustrating I’m. Not where i want to be . I’m about to give up 🤦🏻♀️

Since you used some of your checking cushion to cover overage, will you have a line item showing you putting back the money you used of cushion next months budget?
Question! On the monthly spending breakdown, where do you get your budgeted amount if your tracking period is not the same as your pay cycle? I track by month but am paid biweekly. I am going back and forth on a 'what I would want to spend in a month' vs pulling the budgeted amounts from my pay check budgets. I can argue for and against for both so what is the correct way?
Ryen did you have a sinking fund for Mom's birthday? I didn't see that as inflow or was the $200 for both your niece and your mom's birthdays? I understood the inflow money from your brother.

After what has unfolded in 2020 I no longer view btc as speculation. more so an inevitability. Even if it takes 10 years to get $100k that would mean the average rate of return with a daily $100. Over a year is 100% what asset class out there today offer that type of opportunity?
I believe it's a bigger opportunity than movies.... retail or anything like that. Because this is something that almost everyone in the world is required to have, and a crypto-based technology is leading its permanent "digital shift" right now.

@@laurenr7201 I mean instead of budgeting $150 for household, budget $8150. (In the actual budget column. I know she saved for it) then you don’t have these weird overages when there really isn’t one)
@@UghUgh1234 because she budgets by paycheck and the property taxes money has already been budgeted for before..not from this pay period. She need to specifically write it as additional inflow (sinking funds savings) so as to not double count it. Anyway, you don't need to follow how she does it. You do what clicks for you, bec that's the wonderful thing about this method. It's personal. 😊

I have the same, separate from the vacation fund

Since Ryan sold her car, what is she doing for transportation?
Her brother gave her his car, which is how she was able to sell hers. So that’s what she uses. I think it was mentioned 2 or 3 recaps ago.
@hardsimmer, thank you. I remember when she sold the car, but totally missed that she got one from her brother.

Despite the pandemic, cryptocurrency has grown in popularity and is predicted to do so in the future as it has changed a lot of lives

Today's rapidly evolving crypto market needs skilled experts and advisors
I believe it's a bigger opportunity than movies.... retail or anything like that. Because this is something that almost everyone in the world is required to have, and a crypto-based technology is leading its permanent "digital shift" right now.
The amazing thing is; you can stake in this technology for a tiny fraction of the price of Bitcoin.
There's a once-in-a-lifetime event happening in the crypto market that'll be bigger than all past crypto halvings combined
And gas prices went up!

Why didn’t you “budget” the property taxes since you knew it was coming? So it doesn’t look over budget.
She did budget it. It was in savings and when she used the money it went into her monthly “inflow”.
