    default bridges doesn't encrypt your connection nor manual obfs4 bridge.. they just simply hide the fact you are using tor, and if the bridge is public and if your country blocks tor including bridges especially the public bridges then still useless.. the only tool that will encrypt your connection through tor is having physical vpn router and configured it with paid vpn that keeps no logs policy. And if vpn is also blocked.. you might want to host Linux from cloud services and from there make your own tor bridge and that way your very own bridge is unlisted thus can't be blocked easily.

    is the MAC addres hidden in that mode? And does ISP see the traffic?

    • @Rawlinesthechmod
      @Rawlinesthechmod  Месяц назад

      @@AEK4K Nope, ISP cannot see the network traffic is totally encrypted and no mac address cannot be hidden, mac address can be only temporary change at that mode.

      Yes, for sure :), Are you using Tails OS or Windows?. Try Check Update Of Your System,
      In common case if connection like hotspot or wifi public, personal wifi, are
      Very Slow!. Tor cannot be connected. So make sure find good internet connection.
      If you using windows, your firewall is
      Enable. So make sure firewall is disable
      for temporarily, but I very recommend to you for using Linux OS Is very easy for running a Tor.
      Go Check to official website of Tor. That Sites have Many instructions to fix that:
      For Windows Or Macos:
      tb-manual.torproject.org/troubleshooting/ .
      For Tails OS :
      tails.net/doc/anonymous_internet/tor/troubleshoot/index.en.html
      Good luck To fix it!...

    • @Rawlinesthechmod
      @Rawlinesthechmod  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi too :), this is a interesting question for me. Well I will explain to you
      *To the point* )
      I be honest, The simple answer is, Tails OS doesn't require any "VPN". Tails OS is already using Tor network, Tor network is *encrypted* which anyone cannot seeing your online activity and Tor network will prevent yourself from getting tracked and doesn't matter what type WiFi is *landlord wifi* or *personal wifi* Tor network will prevent the online tracker, I'm recommended to you for learning about "Opsec" is like self defense on internet, Remember Always upgrading the Tails OS to new version for getting new security upgrade is very important.
      *My Suggestions is using offline security methods* )
      The best options for making someone hard to access your personal data, Is savings your personal data like picture or passwords, email, into second USB drive then using *Veracrypt and KeePassXC* software to encrypting it, someone cannot easily access your personal data when USB drive is unplug from your computer.
      You need two USB drive:
      Mains - USB drive)
      *For Running Tails OS*
      Seconds - USB drive)
      *For Savings Private data by using software Veracrypt and KeePassXC* ..

      Btw,
      You cannot Install VPN or other software on tails. Is kinda impossible for now. I should ever try to install some tools on my Tails. But it doesn't work by using "apt"😅 LOL..
