I’m designing a storage room that connects to farms that have auto crafting, for things like stone and wood this all rests in a 500 by 500 hole that goes down to -60 so I guess you can say that’s pretty crazy
I thought about making a whole crafting tree with every item and every way it can be crafteable, thankfully, I did think about it twice and I made sure that idea never comes to my mind ever again
@@Knarfy but now I am instead thinking about combining every RaysWorks' farm he made, into a storage system for every farmable item that will at the same time be an auto crafter for every item that is craftable with items from these farms
autocrafters can also ouput items directly into item containers. that means that you can also place a crafter facing into another crafter for multi-step crafting. you can also have the crafter facing into a chest so you dont need an extra hopper to pick up the dropped items from the crafter
I already know that one of the first things I would build with this in a survival world, would be an completly automatic rocket farm so whenever I am out of them and want to travel by elytra I just go to the chest and take a few stacks without first needing to craft them together
Using an autocrafter connected to a kelp farm that feeds into a furnace, you could theoretically make a furnace that never runs out of fuel (this was in a camman18 video btw)
I used to play Minecraft in 1.13 and earlier and was a huge redstone enjoyer, I literally filled my every building with mechanisms and I have to say that as for a non-redstoner, those are some really impressive skills! That really shows that if you want to learn redstone, you just have to mess around with it a little bit to know the basics instead of saying "I don't understand redstone", because that's a lot of fun and a huge part of the game you're missing out on. Just give it a try! :)
I CANT WAIT RO SEE THE GOLS FARMS!!! so rn, they only have golden nuggets and swords and armour. With a item sorter, there can be the swords and armor going into a autosmelter, making more nuggets, which get fed back to the line with the golden nuggets. But then the golden nuggets are turned into gold ingots. Then gold blocks for easy acess.
Second idea, the golden ingot line fracters into 2 lines (i think you can do it. The way im thinking is that you have a clock with 2 hoppers, and a ice path behind each hopper. So when the clock goes, the hopper gets shifted and then it alternates it.) Yeah so 1 line goes into the golden blocks, but the other line going into the over world, with a chunk loader, to meet up with another hopper line that comes from a automatic tree farm getting bonemeal from a automatic skeleton farm nearby. But then they meet up to form a golden apple farm!
Third idea, there are 3 lines from the gold ingot line. First 2 go to golden apples and Golden blocks, while the third goes to a piglin trading farm for a bunch of other materials. So this could prob be optimized, but you have the clock with the main two lines, but then there's another clock behind those two, and they merge together to make a another line
the first thing i thought of when i heard about the autocrafter is how much more storage farms might get, like imagine this: you have a piglin farm for gold, it outputs too much, but you could use autoctafters to craft gold blocks and then store those i'm not into redstone, and i haven't thought about this idea for more than 10 minutes and i'm not interested in making it lol but thought i'd share
mojang finally made comparators more useful in survival! (i know they were useful before this, but tell me one time you used comparators in your survival playthrough without using a tutorial)
I think the way the comparator works is that the strength is dependent on the percentage of how many open crafting slots are filled. If 9 slots are open and all full then there is a strength of 9 and if there are 8 slots open and there all full then it’s a strength of 9 because the percentage of open slots that are full is the same.
Oh My God Knarfy is literally the first person that I know that successfully explained to me the use of that 2nd comparator mode Jesus Christ I feel dumb XD
its so nice to see someone understand redstone for the first time, this video was quite the contrast from the mumbo jumbo video i watched before but it was still fun.
that can be done simply by always having one of each of the items in the crafting table at once, and when you want to craft something, send another set of those items to the crafter and activate :D
they could've made it where you can add the recipe you want it to craft. instead of the weird slot disabling system. which makes it unnecessarily complicated. here's how i'd make it. so you use it like a normal crafting table, and once you put in the items for the recipe, you press a "lock recipe" button in the GUI. which locks those items in the crafting interface. and makes only those items enter the crafter.
I wish you could choose what items specifically go where without having to time it (like you put one leather in the top right corner and maybe use some sort of "mold" to make it so only leather goes in that slot and not the paper). Or even better, have another block that goes with the auto crafter and puts down a template, then activates the crafter (or just have the crafter so you could put an item in the slot for a completed item and have the crafter fill the required spots in with the items required, as long as they've been provided)
Hey! Did you know crafters output directly into the storage container or crafter directly attached to where it drops the items? You don’t need to leave a gap with a hopper in order to receive those items in order to put them into whatever you want to put them in ^^ Hope you found this helpful :D
something I would like to mention about your pc not having bluetooth and wifi show up, you have to install the *proper* drivers that are meant for your specific motherboard. If your motherboard came with wifi antennas, you need those to get the best bluetooth range
Create an automatic shulker box creator then make a dispencer place it and then fill it with items and then break the shulker box and put it in a chest for later use
Yesterday I opened minecraft n decided to create a dispenser autocrafter. After I did that, I created a witch farm that would be sorted n then connected to the respective crafters/hoppers necessary. I was very excited when the bow part worked, even moreso when I got it to input the right things in the right order. I got tired tho so i decided to leave it be for now. But yeah, cobble farm inputting into one hopper, witch farm (sorted) filtering into the stick hopper for the bows n the redstone hopper for the dispensers themselves, and a spider farm (also sorted) filtered into the string hopper.
Plot twist , knarfy had so much fun making these redstone machines that he actually is gonna become a redstone player and we will see more redstone videos coming up in the near future !
I am not great at Redstone, so I don't think I'll be able to do anything too crazy, but it'll be amazing for storage. Throw raw iron in, and the system automatically smelts it and turns it into blocks for more compact storage. Anytime with a zombie piglin gold farm is going to get huge benefits from it.
I think the most useful output is having 2 of every item in a slot, so that you can fill it once, but never depletes, so that the recipe's dont undo what's intended
Unless you can lock certain spaces for certain objects, setting up multiple farms to create an item like a book would be very difficult unless the farm is large enough to guarantee the crafter never runs out of either ingredient
For someone who says they aren’t a redstone knarfy’s contraptions we’re very good and explained in a way that even I could understand (btw do you remember me I’m pineapples are people too guy)

Sand Duper + Creeper Farm = INFINITE TNT. Sugarcane Farm + Creeper Farm = ININITE ROCKETS for Elytra. Wither Skeleton Farm + Auto TNT Tree Farm = Infinite Torches. Automatic Wheat Farms = ININITE BREAD. Automatic Slime Farms + Witch Farms + Piglin Bartering Farm + Automatic Tree Farm + Cobble Gen = INFINITE PISTONS AND STICKY PISTONS. If you want more practical uses for the autocrafter, you should watch Mumbo Jumbo’s video on it
You should do something similar to the crafting at the end with deco pots. Fast clicking to fill them is the best sound in the game
I'm not a redstoner at all, but I'm actually excited to try this!

Here’s an idea for breaking Minecraft with your dumb ideas. Enchant a bow with loyalty in survival. Have fun with that!😂😂😂
"You can now automate the creation of books!" There's something rather dystopian about that sentence.
crafters can put an item directly into the block its facing (containers, hoppers, or even other crafters!)
tbh im hoping they add a way for you to lock in a crafting recipe, so you can build simple yet longer chained recipes
that can be done simply by always having one of each of the items in the crafting table at once, and when you want to craft something, send another set of those items to the crafter and activate :D
they could've made it where you can add the recipe you want it to craft. instead of the weird slot disabling system. which makes it unnecessarily complicated.
here's how i'd make it.
so you use it like a normal crafting table, and once you put in the items for the recipe, you press a "lock recipe" button in the GUI. which locks those items in the crafting interface. and makes only those items enter the crafter.
Fun fact! The side of the crafter that dispenses items goes directly into storage items with no need for actually dispensing the item out
I wish you could choose what items specifically go where without having to time it (like you put one leather in the top right corner and maybe use some sort of "mold" to make it so only leather goes in that slot and not the paper). Or even better, have another block that goes with the auto crafter and puts down a template, then activates the crafter (or just have the crafter so you could put an item in the slot for a completed item and have the crafter fill the required spots in with the items required, as long as they've been provided)

The first redstone thing he showed can be used to make different doors
Create an automatic shulker box creator then make a dispencer place it and then fill it with items and then break the shulker box and put it in a chest for later use
