How about a step by step video on creating a digital product and/or a course? High level of course-but just to give those of us who are clueless someplace to start. 👍🏻 Thanks for always giving great content!
I was thinking of what digital products I could create. It donned on me that I already created two different nursing student report sheets that helped me stay organized during my clinical rotations. Maybe I can use those. Thanks for the ideas.
I love passive income ideas! My favorites are digital products and workbook downloads. Talking about them on RUclips and adding them to rotating Pinterest boards has been a great way to promote them over time. Keep up the great videos Jessica!
I will forever be indebted to you you've changed my whole life continue to preach about your name for the world to hear you've saved me from a huge financial debt with just little investment, thanks so much Mrs. Katie Stein
I wasn't sure how passive would work for me but I created one digital product that sold from time to time. THEN last year Dec 2021, I experienced a glimpse of the potential of passive income when I earned in a month what I earn in a year of my previous full time job! ❤️😭 Now, I'm an avid viewer of your videos Jessica! I'm learning a lot and will continue to pursue this goal of passive income! ❤️✨ Thank you! Stay awesome!
I created four coloring books and uploaded them to Amazon on KDP, but it's hard to get sales even with running an art RUclips channel where I share my art. Hopefully my audience grows and I get more sales and also can monetize my RUclips channel :) thank you for the ideas for digital products and courses!
Learn how to read candlesticks and watch the charts that way you can figure out when to buy and when not to.. If you wanna make money on crypto... You wanna buy when it low.. so when people investment (ROI) without any extra fees attached.
I don't trade, I invest with a professional assigned by a crypto company that trades for us and returns profits on weekly basis for me and you can invest your capital and get weekly returns.
If you have a smaller audience (me, and so many other struggling creators out there👋🏻😅), how can selling digital products and affiliate marketing be successful in generating passive income? I know on paper the process sounds “easy” but I honestly feel like to actually make a substantial amount of money, especially 10k per month, you need a lot of people’s attention, a larger audience which takes a lot of work to build up to. I’m currently looking into selling stock footage because I feel like that’s a way to make passive income less dependent on getting it in front of so many people but rather on the specific “product” /video clip itself that may be needed by a company or filmmaker rather than selling to/relying on the masses for revenue.
I was making $10k/mo with a combo of these when i had about 1000 ppl in my audience- so it’s definitely possible with a small audience but it definitely takes work! I’d recommend growing your audience and going after things that pay more first - like online courses :)
Heads up: You are not allowed to use Amazon affiliate links with close friends/family. They consider it fraudulent and if discovered your account will be shut down.
Affiliate marketing is my favorite passive income method since I do RUclips and run a blog. All you have to do is make a post once and you could make money on it for years. I want to get into creating more digital products for sure!
Another great video... I will definitely follow the advice.. especially as an artist.. I think it's important to have multiple streams of income coming in. I break a finger or wrist I'm shut down! Having multiple streams would be a great way to not have to worry about what could happen. Thanks.
I’m launching a course this year but the Skillshare vs hosting my own thing is a HUGE decision that I have to make that I’m struggling with. Honestly my biggest decision right now. I hear people make a lot of money on Skillshare but I’m sure you make more on your own. How much more, I don’t know. Especially when you take into account Skillshare sponsoring your RUclips content, and their affiliate program.
I totally agree, I'm planning on creating a few digital products... I'll post the results... If you don't hear from me then you'll know.... ahhhhh. just kidding. we'll see...LOL😜😜
Thank you so much for this video; I’ve been trying to figure out how to grow my channel and how I want to go about branding myself and stepping into more social media influencer content, and this video has been extremely helpful. Congratulations on all your accomplishments.
I love digital products! I have an Etsy printable shop, but my problem is getting them out there. Ugh I can spend hours creating things but then no one sees them lol
Yes, I am here to learn how to find that group she mentioned or audience that needs my product. I run a photo booth rental business. I am thinking of creating a checklist of items that photo booth owners could use before and after each event (during setup). I am in a large FB group and maybe I would share it for free. Then as I help others, maybe they would see me as an expert or guru.
I have a friend who started his now multi million dollar biz because he was in a FB group and became the resident expert. People purchased his designs which is how he is raking in the money now. It happened organically for him. Create something that the group needs and you can redesign over and over. He lists his on Etsy.
Hey Jessica, I have been started watching you for RUclips tips video but I'd say your recent content about income & digital products rock! Thanks for this video.
Let’s go Jessica! Excited for this one really looking to scale my online business this year! Passive income is great, I’d say RUclips is deffo not passive haha
I love you honesty but I would love to see from beginning to end every step don’t leave out the part that clicks it all together for the digital product to actually sell please? If you could share step 1 - step end what you do for a digital planner to sell on RUclips or etcy? Please thanks I’m very grateful I found you thanks for being real! Happy holidays
Hi Jessica, watched many of you videos and they’ve all been immensely helpful. I started my website/blog/RUclips channel in August and every video I put out, I hear your voice saying “your first 50 videos will suck” and that’s seriously what keeps me going!! Lol My question relates to the affiliate mktg. I’m an Amazon and ShareASale affiliate. I have not yet been able to grow my audience numbers, so it’s discouraging. I’m trying to do everything right: good content, be consistent, use social media to show my stuff. What numbers are realistic for even starting to make some money? (Followers, subscribers, pages looked at on website). I feel like I just can’t get my stuff seen and I’m trying to be patient!
So I am learning how to be a content creator and getting more comfortable with creating content and being on camera. What I CAN’T seem to get to is making money from my audience. I have made lots of things to sell, but I always feel icky actually asking people to buy things. So how do I promote my products on social media without feeling salesy?
Hi! How do you make an digital planner? I would LOVE to make my own digital planner so that I could customize it to my needs/likes and also have it on my phone and iPad 😄
I don’t - there a video here on my channel that was a collab on how but it’s not extremely details - I’ve thought about offering a small workshop to teach it though!
I would like to see a video about how to create traffic to your digital product or course (or affiliate link) or how to advertise it. I tried to advertise affiliate links on Facebook and Google and they didn’t approve them. Looks like they just don’t like affiliate links. But I have seen affiliate products/services advertised even on Facebook, so there should be something that they know that I don’t know.
Have any tips on resizing digital products? I have letter size products that clients want in different sizes. Thanks 😊 I'm one of your new subscribers and have been enjoying your videos.
I love the digital planner idea! I created a planner in Canva that I’m getting ready to list on Amazon. What program can I use to convert this into a digital planner?
If it’s a true digital planner it needs to be interactive and you can save it as an interactive pdf straight from within Canva - digital planners are delivered in PDF format
Hi Jessica! Good info. I’ve been selling digital products for many years. I love your energy. I wonder… is there a reason that you do not mention using Microsoft word for products and then saving as a pdf? I personally love Word and have made many of my e-books, workbooks, training manuals, training sheets, and other products with Word. I see info products out there that are really good, and many that are simply, not. I think it’s important to create a quality product and not just throw something together. I guess that’s from my instructional design background. I’m sure you agree with me on this. Your videos have very good content. You are doing very good work! The importance of providing quality products has not changed, but what has changed over the years are the tools used to host and sell products. The landscape is so different from when I started out and there are so many new tools that I feel I am constantly learning. Thanks again for contributing positively to the online world. Here’s to your continued success!
Because I don’t like Word 😂🤣, no other reason - I’m a Mac user and instead of paying extra for Word, i ditched it for Google docs years ago. There’s no problem with using Word, just preference. And i agree - digital products need to be quality products but also the quality is in the execution and purpose not necessarily what program it was designed in
I'd love to hear about organization and tracking, taxes, etc. for the Tech-newb busy mom. How do you track having passive income or just having ten different revenue streams? I'm overwhelmed by the sheer number of puzzle pieces to track and DO. It's actually too late for me to just pick one. I have 7 pod stores, commissions, and am starting a yt channel. It's chaos, but all tiny still. Any guidance and clarity is helpful.
Hello Jessica, This is the first time I saw you. I think you do a very good job public speaking. You ask course we would like to see. If we provide a service or a course ,many of us are at lost how to drive traffic and conversion. I did a online course in the past and did a website and no one found it so it was a loss. Second then how do you handle payments like paypal or credit cards and income? Then if a product had a problem how do you track legit purchases? And third how do you organize yourself wiyth having income all over the usa and how do you handle end of the year tax wise? I hear you have to file taxes every state and how do you deal with all this?
Hi Jessica, great video, lots of great content! I would like to have more content on not only how to create courses, but also which platforms to sell a course on. Would it be better to sell the course independently, or on course plateforms like Udemy, etc? What are the pros and cons of selling on course platforms vs. selling courses independently? Thanks, Jessica.
Yes, I have a question. How do I create this audience or group, who would see me as an Expert/Guru? Should I first brainstorm and put a system together? I know Amazon requires a website or blog showing items you use and sell. Should I reach out to new people in FB groups that I know are struggling and need help? Should I reach out to my friends who I know are looking for extra income? I am Jackie a photo booth rental company owner. I was a photographer but now, I have photo booths that I rent out. I would love to show everyone how simple and fun to run a business from a bag. Yes, I carry my equipment in a bag. Technology has changed a lot.
Hello , great video ! Have you done yourself those digital products ? What tool or software you have use to make them ? Or you have hired someone to make them ? If so where do you hire them ? Do you have someone to recommend
Hello Ms. Jessica and thank you for another great video. I do have a question I hope you can answer. I know you are super busy. So, like I told you before in the other video I watched. I am struggling with fear, doubt, and procrastination. I'm in the dental field and that's the niche I picked when I built my website. But I'm not too sure how I can monetize through my website. What I originally planned was to help other assistants that want to take their test to get licensed. I wanted to help them and show them what to do and how to pass it on the first try like I did. Only, I don't know how to create a course. Or maybe offer tutoring. Ugh! not sure what direction to head. Then when you mentioned the digital products, I thought about maybe a planner for dental assistants but not sure how to do that either. Is there any advice you can give me?
How to reach more people when you are just getting started and have no audience? I have a great idea I’m working on, very niched, but I have no audience yet. If you wre to start all over again, what would you do?
Does affiliate marketing work when your audience has to switch over to the Amazon of their Country? Or do you lose the revenue? I REALLY do not want to do a RUclips channel. If I just write a blog and sell the products through that, will it still work? Albeit at a slower pace? I don't want to start creating products if there's just no way to get sales that way. Thank you so much! 🥰🇨🇦
Anything that helps someone save time/effort or even helps them get ready in some way before they work with you. Ex for a VA: A KPI spreadsheet template that can help them start tracking their KPIs, a workbook that helps them work through where they need the most help in their biz - hopefully that helps!
I love your videos… I’m a divorced mom trying to make at least 5,000 per month… Do you have any mentorship classes? I’m tired of trading my time for money Thank you
Easiest but pays less? Its not easy, first you need to have a high fan base and people need to click on the link. Infact doesnt amazon SPECIFICALLY want influencers and if you dont meet the requirements you cant even get into their affiliate program
What specific digital content ideas would you recommend for an Instagram account within the staycation niche? This video really got me motivated to get creative. Love it!
Jessica I appreciate your videos, I have a background in music production, my team has worked with Janet Jackson, Dr Dre, Christina Aguilera, New Edition, King Titus, Chris Brown and others. I would like to offer Production Consulting as a service based side hustle. Would you help me?

Nope. Not even remotely 😂, it’s passive in the sense that you can make money from a video after it’s created but there’s so much work outside of that

I am struggling with fear, doubt, and procrastination. I'm in the dental field and that's the niche I picked when I built my website. But I'm not too sure how I can monetize through my website.
