I’ve been watching your vids ever since I was like 7 or 8. You were one of the few RUclips channels my mom actually didn’t mind listening to since you’ve always been family friendly. I have always loved the videos you make and I always want to come back for more. Keep it up Matt.
Also - some pushers require that you swipe your card to redeem winning tickets. A lot of people don't realize that and just walk away. I've swiped thousands of free tickets over time.
The one tip I always use for penny pushers is this: if you want something that is, for example, on the left hand side, do not always focus your efforts to the left. Sometimes it helps to either put some coins on both side or the right to get a more lateral movement on the shelf. I would say, as well, if you have skill stop like this machine does (UK machines don't seem to have them), then it would be best if going for the green token on the left, to try and strategically place them for a good shift. As an example, if you want a "second" or even a "third wave", to try and arrange it so that one side falls first, and then both sides fall together to get that lateral movement. Of course, that will depend on how the top shelf is arranged, but you can also achieve this via timing too. You can do this without the skill stop by, for example, dumping 5 coins on the left, and then 5 on the left and 5 on the right as the coins are falling off from the first wave. I also believe that you get a much better shift by putting multiple coins in at a time rather than singly.

You can successfully shake these machines if they are cheaply made, and not bolted down. This is rare however as most owners of these machines aren’t stupid.
Been watching for a while - first time posting. Love your videos. I’ve heard you say you’re in Pittsburgh - do you ever head to the eastern shore of Jersey, Delaware or Rehoboth ??? I’ve spent a lot of time and money in the arcades of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD. Would love to see you rock some of their action to see how my skill compares !!! Maybe do a meet up ?? Not sure if you do that - lol. Love your show - keeps that great content coming !!!
Here is a fun fact. I purchased $34,000 of these machines. It was a lot of fun. But I had to find place to put them. What a nightmare...2 machines were outright stolen. I always loaded then with Prizes and Silver Dollars. But the amount of money I made was not worth the heartache. I bought mine out of Louisville KY. Good Luck.
Don't think there is much to it. You will always lose more than you gain on the long run as some of the coins fall down the sides which you dont receive. The store owner leave the machines out for profit and that is how they gain. I rarely use them and tend not to spend more than like 2 quid if I do.
Because these have gaps on both sides when you just play one side it just pushes the coins outward from wherever you played but if you play Both Sides at the same time all the coins in the center are pushing against each other and forward so it's always best to play Both Sides at the same time.
I love ❤️ your coin pusher videos, thanks for playing 😉 I think a cool pusher would be a penny 1cent pusher, prizes would be bigger coins, “tokens” for items and maybe others. And I vote for $5 on each side at once!
That is a great tip Matt, you're definetely right, me and so many other arcade guys will look in coin pushers for money and will find a few quarters just sitting there.
Love your vidoes Matt! You inspired me to create my own channel which I created around a year and a half ago where I play claw machines and arcade games just like you! Keep up the great work on your channel!
@@lorisgiampieri9770 you have to let the pusher push them as far as it can then time it so they drop when it goes back in. Build up in the area(s) where they are more likely to drop. Its not too hard to figure out once you get going.
My local Sunoco has a bunch of fold it up 50s and 20s and probably a bunch of ones and fives mixed in with a bunch of quarters and then there’s like a little gold bar which is impossible to get on the side and maybe a couple gold coins in like insanely hard places to get I’m about to go down there with a bunch of quarters and see if I can get those 50s and 20s
I've always loved playing these. You should always clarify how much you started with. What was your max gain. How long you played. Here in Michigan we only have crappy games. I should upload one.
Awesome coin pusher video Matt! I have never played a coin pusher in forever since The Price is Right. I love you Matt, stay cool! #ArcadeMatt #Goobers #BagelBits
I played one for the first time ever today and lost about seventy dollars. It's a total rip off. I was putting in ten or so at a time. Fun getting ripped off. The lady that worked there said someone comes in there every weekend and wipes out the machine. So I thought I'd give it shot. I thought I'd see if there's some kinda of trick to win and google search it and this RUclips video shows up. Well, didn't learn nothing. Any who I suggest to keep your money. These things are addictive and most likely you might come ahead a few quarters but after you keep putting it back in, well you'll eventually give the machine every quarter. It's definitely not worth it. Unless you know some kinda trick. Which I couldn't figure out.
Oh man I dont know those kind of coinpushers. In my country at least you don't get real money first of all, you get like points for tokens that have numbers on them and you get silver coins to throw in. I mean that way you get for like 5 bucks 40 coins or so. But the real "problem" is that it is ALWAYS pushing. You cannot stop it. You always have to time the throw and cant do multiple coins at once
Whoaa you're in Pittsburgh! I had to do a double take I'm like that arcade looks familiar... I literally looked up this video so I could use it to play that exact same machine! My mind is blown
It stops the moving top tray or in some cases slows it down. Helpful sometimes to keep coin from landing on top of one another which just increases profit for the operator
I also like to use the skill stop. Those ones that don't have the skill stop button, I wait till the pusher is all the way back, drop the coins and by the time it falls, the pusher is forward so the coins fall in the back. (tip #2)
Have you ever tried putting in a row of quarters all the way across (or on one half) with the pusher toward the back, then letting the pusher go out, skill stopping again, and dropping another row of quarters behind that? You could conceivably get a double-depth push. I haven’t seen anyone try that, and I don’t play these often (or even know where one is around me) or I’d give it a shot.
Hey Matt! Have you ever been to the indoor waterpark called Kalahari? They're in Ohio and Wisconsin. They have a HUGE arcade! You should go there! You rock!
