I love playing these for a bit of fun at arcades and have never won anything other than more coins, and never actually win! But that's ok as I play for fun with a couple of quids worth of coins. Then I saw "what the hales" and thought it might be possible to actually win summat. This vid is a real eye-opener! Thanks for making this informative piece, most appreciated.
I can comment from experience (we make coin pusher videos from a machine we own and operate for RUclips), that everything you are saying is absolutely correct! The flow of quarters is very much like that of a liquid. Plus the lip you have looks like ours, where its high in the middle and low on the sides, causing the pushes to tend to force coins out the sides rather than the middle..And thus also causes bulking up of coins in the middle (higher lip). Thanks for sharing man!
Thank you ever so much for an Awesome comment, it means a lot to hear fellow RUclipsrs enjoy my content, as do I yours, although ive been so busy building, shooting film and editing I havent had a lot of time to watch, although the couple ive watched (So Far :D ) have been very entertaining. I love how you make the concept of the pusher more complex by adding obstacles and games. Maybe one day real soon we could collaborate and mention each others channels. Thanks again, and Stay Awesome :D
@@InsidetheArcade That would be cool! We're meeting with another small channel this Sunday to discuss collaboration. I need to grok your Arduino coin dispenser a little more..maybe I can build one (btw I/we built something else you might appreciate..a full size Dalek.. I use an Arduino to control its dome).
@@WePlayYouWin Oh Wow. so your familiar with the Arduino, Thats Great. Ive Never built anything full size, but that sounds amazing. Id be more than happy to help design something to go into your pusher and give it the desired effect you need, and it would be great to meet and share ideas. Anyway, I wish you all the success in the world on your RUclips journey, and hopefully arrange something soon. All the Best :)
@@WePlayYouWin Although unfortunately for some reason i thought id heard or read that you lived in the UK, but ive just seen that your US, maybe one day we'll collab and again, i have no issue sending anything if you need something built/designed.
Another great video mate :) on the bonus game on this machine is there a separate hopper like on the pacman ones. I would also be curious to see how emptying the money from the cashbox on this type of machine is done too thanks
Hi BenSpiers1994. This machine runs from two main hoppers that shoots the player fed coins and the bonus game winnings. Both are controlled by the left and right hoppers. For a ten coin splash, its shoots 5 coins from left side and 5 from right side. Any coins that fall down the gutters, fall straight back into the hoppers below. I will be happy to oblige with your request of showing the area below. Give me a few days and I'll try my best to film a short video for you and anyone else who is curious about how this works. Cheers for watching. I hope you enjoyed it. 🤘😎👍
Any way you can better explain how the lip works exactly? Thank you for sharing some real and entertaining information! You have a new sub!
There is another video up from a few years back going into more detail about the lips. Hope this helps.
Great to see this thanks
Thank you for your vid + tips

Ahh thank you for a very kind comment. I hope you get some good advice.
Best of Luck to you 🤟😎👍

Just stick a tape measure up the bottom hole and use the curved edge of the tape measure to loosen the coins from the edge
Thats amazing
A lot of info thanks
Thanks for your positive feedback. I hope you enoyed the video.
Inside the Arcade very interesting
so basicly most of the 2p machines have the three lips set so makes them unwinnable... or very little pay out
