In this video, we've traveled to Kevin & Sarah's Living Traditions Homestead to install a 20' x 60' High Sidewall Greenhouse or High Tunnel. We're going through the process to show every part of the installation including site prep, greenhouse assembly, ventilation used, how to pull and install film & shade cloth, and much more. Our houses are approved for the NRCS High Tunnel System Initiative or Eqip Grants. We offer Quonset, low sidewall, high sidewall, hobby, and glacier greenhouses (for northern climates). Give our team a call if you have any questions at all. 1-866-928-3390

    Very good explanation, easy to understand. I work with installation of greenhouses also and, I can see the way they did, it was really the perfect way. 100%.

    Great video! I wish I had the land to build one. I will be looking forward to how much you can grow/ harvest.

    I’m ready to order one but I’m concerned about the delivery there’s no way I can unload the truck I recently had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and I live off road ☹️

      One person can unload it. It's in small bundles.

      I ordered a 16x24 high side, the bundles were extremely manageable, my two teenage sons were able to hand unload it within 15 minutes, the driver was within about 10 minutes of the arranged time as well.

      Some bundles are heavy. My husband was in pain after but we managed it. Don’t expect the driver to get out of the truck at all to help. They hand it to u to do it all. So you definitely need help. 3 of us have serious injuries, but we pushed through it, had no choice. And the driver almost left with the most important part which was on the pallet. If my husband didn’t catch it, we would have had to wait for it to come all the way back to us. About to start ours today.

      @@bhoyt9577Not for people with injuries. U need more than 1 person. Well let me clarify, maybe smaller sizes. We had the larger one, so yes, u need more help.

    Can you do an install in West Virginia? How much would it be to install a 24x36 high sidewall?

    • @growerssolution
      @growerssolution  3 месяца назад

      Hey @vernonhuffman2311 we don't do installation. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself we recommend hiring a local handyman or someone you trust to build it.

    It says that we (as the consumer )unload. So does that mean we will need a fork truck to get that pallet ( shown in video)off the truck?

    • @growerssolution
      @growerssolution  10 месяцев назад +1

      @debraemke3828 Everything is considered hand freight. I recommend having a friend, family member, or neighbor help unload it just to make the process faster and easier.

      The freight company helped me unload everything even the pallet. Not sure that for everyone but it was my experience.

      @@paulied1850He handed ours to us, and we had to do it ourselves. Didn’t even get out. So people need to be prepared for this.
