that's awesome. i can't believe the result when i use 2nd method. now i can save my time a lot. thanks for sharing
Very insightful. Keep them coming
Thank you sooooo much. This is brilliant 👌🏾
Awesome presentation! I followed along and even when ChatGPT sorta malfunctioned by not showing me the output of the "Become a critic of your own output" phase (not its fault, it was Chrome's LOL), I just asked it to restate the output it had already made and ChatGPT actually apologized to me as it complied!
Just one minor correction to your awesome presentation in the video:
Not all Windows versions are created equal with respect to Microsoft Office, so if you're going to put up the keystroke sequence to open Visual Basic Editor, please specify for which version of Windows OR the version of PowerPoint being used and take those extra couple of seconds to just display them for us.
The correct keyboard shortcut for PowerPoint Office 365 version is actually ALT + F11.
Ah thanks for mentioning that! You’re right:) curious to hear more about the results. It looks like ChatGPT was downgraded in a way. Often provides non functional VBA lately. I hope Microsoft copilot ( an AI built into the office apps and operating system in windows 11) comes out soon.
And thanks a lot for the kind words!
Thank you very much Sir I have learn from your video.More power to you
Thanks! I will definitely try to use this next time
Great work. Thank you. Keep it up
Very nice explanation. Crisp and precise.
thanks! simple and understandable guide!
Great video. Thank you 👍
Thanks the second method helps a lot!
Excellent tutorial! The video was clear, detailed, and very professional. The explanations were comprehensive and provided a deep understanding of the topic. Thank you very much for the high-quality and useful content. Highly recommended!💯
Thank you for the kind comment!
I’m working on a similar tutorial using Microsoft Copilot which is even faster in creating PowerPoints! 🔥
Great ideas! I was looking for how to add a video to your PowerPoint presentation but I got several other great ideas! Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Il marche super bien mrc encore une fois
briljant, ik ga dit proberen
thank you so much. you are an amazing teacher!!!!
So kind words, thank you!
Thanks for sharing these prompts, they were very beneficial to my project!
Amazing!
This is great 👍
Awesome and really helpful. keep it up bro
Thanks for the feedback and motivation!
Thank you!
If I may speak bluntly, I find you interestingly entertaining in your teaching process. Engaging is good. VBA when was the last time I s that anywhere, however, it is still relevant and thanks to you, it is the first time I have seen it used in the proper manner. Here in the States, we are told PPT is falling in relevance. I think it has moved up the chain from everyday use. Jokes of boring PPTs have lessened their use in recent years. The reason I like your video is I like PPT, and I find uses in what you have taught, so I say well done. I feel reinvigorated regarding PPT.
So, well done on the PPT presentation. Thanks too. Be well.
What a kind comment thank you very much!
@@TheArtificialAnalyst
You are most welcome.
I continue to get runtime error (438). I cannot get this method to execute.
Thank you a lot
Nice ! Can this also be implemented with Google slides ?
Terence
thankyou for making my life easy
Happy to help!
Is there any way to do this with Google Slides instead of powerpoint ?
Is there a way this can be used on the PPT app? There is no "TOOLS" tab.
@4:10 here is an important addition: Please write the VBA code for a 12 slide PowerPoint presentation about the above information. Do not use placeholders. All information should be factual and truthful.
Great addition!
Oh man, you could have skipped the first tip. The second one was really good!
Hehe Happy to hear the second one helped! I’ve included the first one because in a short while Microsoft will launch its Copilot. Copilot is basically the AI built into Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel. Under the hood it likely uses VBA to complete certain actions :)!
Nice vid man. Easy to understand and straight to the point. I'm wondering though, can this all be applied to Keynote for Mac users who don't have or want a Microsoft subscription? I've noticed Keynote does read VBA. Would be great to see a tutorial for this. Cheers
Thanks! What a fun idea, will try it out and update you here :)
@@TheArtificialAnalyst Actually seems to read apple script rather than vba, but should still work.
Excellent video. Method 2 definitely. Wished you had included how to add page breaks 😅
Oh! I have included page breaks by pressing ctrl + enter or command enter on mac :) hope that helps! Sometimes the conversion doesn’t recognize them, but I would recommend starting a new file then ^^
@@TheArtificialAnalyst really appreciate your response bro.
In the second methd, where did u insert page breaks, went a bit quick at that bit. my doc only exported first slide
Hi @yommypops I have entered page breaks at the end of each section. I have noticed that word online is not as consistent in transforming the final document to a PowerPoint. I believe they are still working on this feature as it is a beta. Few things I have tried to resolve are 1. entering page breaks where I want the next slide to begin.
2. Remove the complete formatting and add formatting manually where page 1 is the title in h1 and subsequent pages have heading 2 The text can be formatted in bullets to get the best result.
Hope this helps! It’s far from ideal but hopefully he feature becomes more stable in the near future:)
this is great, but does anyone know if visual basic is available in the free version of office 365?
cool stuff. I think I have something that you might find interesting. I'm using a different approach.
Thanks! Sure I’m always open to learning more, maybe I can make a video on it and help others too! You can send it to my business email on my profile or comment below :)!
😎
second method is easy and efficient
When I am pressing the run button it is showing me a syntax error
It must not be able to save the file. Change the path to save the doc and it should work
I cannot access the developer in my Mac, is it possible by any chance ?
I have searched in the ribbon and tools section all commands but unfortunately couldn’t find it.
Any suggestions?
Have you tried the following: go to file >> options (under feedback & account) >> click on customize ribbon>> on the right side find developer under main tabs. >> tick the checkbox of developer and then press OK. This should solve the matter. Good luck :)!
My powerpoint365 does not have the "export" option. I tried to do it with the first option on the video but it my mac does not gives me the option of "tools" unless I open it as a regular powerPoint. What can I do?
The export option is done via word online :) it’s an online version of office 365. office.live.com/start/Word.aspx
There you probably will see the export function ^^
No designer option for 2013 PowerPoint??
I can i use it?
Hi there! You can still do the generate presentation information, act as a critic and VBA aspect, but the designer is only included in office 365.
Another thing that you can try is use the application called Tome (tome.app) I don’t have a video on this yet, but it is another simple way to create interesting looking screens from text.
Thank you for this - i've tried numerous times and when I 'run' the VBA code in PPT, I keep getting a "Run-time error 13: Type mismatch" ... any idea why its not working ? thank you in advance for any guidance.
Hey @imadmichal, I have tried many times after the video as well. The output of ChatGPT became less reliable when asking VBA output. One thing that you can do is if you are on the plus version is enable the “advanced code analysis” feature previously known as code interpreter. Another thing you could do is try the second method in the video. People in the comments mention that they have had more succes! Let me know how that went :)
Write the exact error code to ChatGPT prompt and ask it to correct the code. It will. I got syntax error at first try but then told this error to ChatGPT and it corrected it.
Window f11 isn't working?
my word does ot export to powerpoint
Hey hey :) Try the online version of word 365 office.live.com/start/Word.aspx ^^
now i am waiting for the google slide version
Slides ai
this prompt saves a step: - remove the preceding "Slide 1:" through "Slide 10" from the following text
Bro,, the tools can't show in me program
Hey! Are you using mac or pc?
It could be also located under the “developer tab” this is not visible by default. If this is the case go to file > options > customize ribbon > main tabs > developer check box.
Now you have developer tools.
Click on this tab > go to code > macros.
It’s quite weird that it is different across versions of office 365. But hopefully you are able to find it with this instruction. If not, let me know!
@@TheArtificialAnalyst Thank you man It worked after this
How many of you here to make ppt presentation for your college continuous assessment 😂
These steps/script is for MAC users.. Do you have a script for Window users?
It works the same way though :)
I have path problems
What happened?
Nou Nederlander klinkt niet ;). Maar het hele gedoe met vba code levert met regelmaat error codes op die toch het nodige aan extra werk opleveren
ChatGPT is quite unreliable in providing the VBA it seems. Especially using the GPT 3 model. But it is still really fun to see what ChatGPT can do at this moment. It won’t be long before Microsoft’s Copilot will be able to do this more consistently right within applications.
@@chrismachabee3128 I read your answer in English :)
I can't see that tools on my powerpoint

It is always providing bullet points instead of 'script' no matter what prompts I give it
What prompt are you using? I would like to suggest to add “provide me the full detailed script”
If you are having to edit the PP presentation after you have used VBA to create your presentation, then why not copy and paste the text generated at 3:37 directly into a blank PP presentation and edit that i.e miss out the VBA step? have I missed the point?
Create slide auto
That is also a valid way ofcourse :)
Hopefully in the near future Microsoft PowerPoint will have a functionality like this built in, so we can actually save loads of time!
The VBA Code allways has errors, DONT WORK
The VBA output of ChatGPT is quite unstable lately.. maybe better use the second method from the video :)!
you kinda look like AI too man
😂😂 shh don’t tell everyone but I’m actually answering everyone’s questions sent to ChatGPT. 👀🤖
WHERE IS TOOLS TAB!!!!
Promo`SM 💘
I'm a techer and not an "IT consultant" (What does that mean?!) and for these slide you would get an "F" (failed) in my class.
Learn yor topic! Stand the discussion after your talk!
Oh no! I believe the transfer of information and understanding what you are talking about is the most important aspect. Whether you made the slides or you are reusing the slides made by another teacher or AI doesn’t change that. Did you know ChatGPT can also do a spell check? Just type in what you want to say, or the general idea of what you want to say and ask. Please do a spell check and create this into a well flowing paragraph.
Hope it can make your life easier :)
@@TheArtificialAnalyst What has spell check to do with that topic?! Your proposing to base your talk on AI generated slides! These slides are terrible and you won't stand the discussion about your talk for a second! Your reply even made it worse.
You. will. fail. terribly. with. AI. generated. slides! Learn your subject!
Remarquable. Greetings from Paris
Merci beaucoup, glad to help!
