Some of these are great tools and thanks for sharing! In all honesty though, some of the enthusiasm at which people seem to be handing over their intellectual, creative, and cognitive sharpness (or potential for) is a nagging concern . This is mostly regards to generative models, to assume that there is no value in actually reading and analyzing something, or that the creation of art is only about the product, is a perplexing trend. It will be interesting to see how this plays out when AI generative material begins to become overly saturated.
I think you’re making a very good point here. I share your concern and think it ought to be discussed much wider in society and politics perhaps supposed to be regulating this.
Depends on what you consider thinking to be. Most thinking is constrained in the current paradigm which isn’t actually thinking but rather more of what the AIs are doing which is just regurgitating the past. That isn’t thinking. Actual thinking is thinking out of the current paradigm which from within the paradigm looks impossible. Therefore, thinking means thinking that which cannot be thought. Try that with supposed AI and see how much intelligent shows up…

I'm looking to focus on what people consider thinking itself to be, as thinking and conversations about AI are often placed together. Parrot was a LIVESAVER for me last semester. It transcribed my online lectures really well, and relived me of a lot of stress and headache. Best of all, it's free. My only real issue is that the UI can feel a little janky sometimes.
Futuristic! At first I was nervous about the rise of AI, but once you find out how much time you can save in all different tasks, it hard not to love it. We simply have to evolve and learn how to use it in the best way possible. I’m definitely going to try out a few of these tools for future projects. Thanks for sharing!

I've been using the Adobe audio enhancer for a few months now and it literally saved me some videoshoots when the mic died or we had some different technical issue. Used my iPhone as an audio recording device and then I just enhanced the recording. Quite impressive.
