Guys, seriously, THANK YOU for all your support throughout this whole journey and beyond❤ It's just insane to us that so many people have been interested in our random thoughts, reflections, and adventures around the world. We are so incredibly lucky to have you all here🙏❤ We wanted to keep it real in this video and not give some rosy picture of what the past few years have been. We're so fortunate and grateful for what we've experienced, but hopefully you can take our advice in this video and learn from our mistakes👨🏼🤝👨🏻 Here's to an amazing 2023 and beyond with even better videos and a more sustainable lifestyle🙌
I absolutely love that you guys will be focusing on yourselves, it is so important in today's day and age! Let's get corny and say 'If you can't love yourself....'❤ ☺️
I am so proud of you both for being open about your struggles and acknowledging when you need a change. Mental health is so, so, so important. Thanks for bringing awareness. I'm looking forward to whatever is next! 💙
You two are literally old and elegant souls inside young and beautiful men. As I've said before, you can make even a trip to a supermarket entrancing to us viewers. I'd like to imagine that having dinner conversation with you both would be not only a treat but a one of a kind learning experience. Keep going. Keep loving.
I love this channel. I'm gay and vegan and I love travel, so I was often unsure whether I would be able to visit all the places I wanted to, but seeing you guys do it is really encouraging. Thank you! You give me hope.
I’m really happy you addressed the LGBT element to this. As someone who when younger had no issue travelling to loads of places around the world, i feel that in recent times I have limited myself by avoiding some countries because of my sexuality. There’s still so much I’d like to see around the world so honestly you guys are an inspiration to me!
@@shohaim dude get off RUclips and stop judging people because of your “religion” 99/100 of you guys are kids that don’t even understand Their religion you just go over to random people and pick on people for no reason because you just need attention and that’s the only reason why, just get off
Your new “mission statement” is one that ALL of us in every stage and walk of life can learn from, whatever our pursuits! So relieved for you to be shifting gears and taking good care of yourselves (mom vibes 😊), and I will be watching with the rest of your RUclips family for your updates whenever it feels right for you! Rest, reset, reflect-you deserve it! ❤️
I was watching and saw that naive outlook on traveling non stop. I have watched people jumping city to city. Everything in moderation is a real thing. I would stay in places for a month or more. As I get older, slower is amazing so you don't get burnt out. 12 years later I am still doing it, as coming home to check on Mom and seeing friends and family is so appreciated. It does make a difference. Also, work exchanges and meeting people and forming bonds around the world has been an amazing part of traveling. Now I have.a global family that I actually keep in touch with. I still have my friends from my first Europe trip when I did hostels. And, I don't count the countries, I pay an attention to cities more coz I could be one country and enjoy 10 cities in Spain. So I don't count, I just go! I have a channel and it's not driven by my travels but I do share stories. So my life is not about getting content for a channel. That also is pressure. Glad to see you guys taking a step back, it will fuel you to travel again.
So happy to hear this. Please take the time to relax and recharge. Mental and emotional health is so important. Love you both. Love and blessings from the United States🥰❤️❤️❤️
We can't wait to see more of your videos! Thank you for talking about how tiring and lonely it can get. We've been travelling full time for a year (with our full-time remote job) and it can be a lot a times! We cannot wait to see your next adventure. Crazy to think you went to 100 countries guys, you are both amazing!
Self care is incredibly important, and we're proud of you that you recognize that. You've stretched yourselves to the max for all of us, and it's time that you pace your lives so that you get the maximum joy from what you love - travel, and each other.! Thanks for all you do! ❤
I'm feeling so honored that you guys chose Thailand to be one of your top 3 countries along with Thai food as no.2 most favorite food. Thank you so much. And your video made me rethink about my future trips and goals. It's true, quality matters more than quantity. I'll try to learn from your lesson.
Love the Mission statement. Love following your travels. You guys are awesome and hopefully one day our travel paths will cross. (we just got back from Australia and New Zealand and fell in love with them.)
I am so excited for your next chapter! What ever makes you happy will translate in the videos. New Zealand felt so relaxing and beautiful, even through vlogs, and I think it is because you are so good at making authentic videos, just how you expirience things.
I love your travels, through you I can see places I wouldn't otherwise see. At the same time how you have kept up the pace I have no clue and you absolutely must take time out to decompress and catch up with yourselves and loved ones. You are far more adventurous than I ever was, wish I had my time again! My favourites are the U.S. Canada and Switzerland but I do hope to get to Singapore and Dubai, looks too good not to. Thank you, love you both 💕
Hey Boys,as an older member of the community with a son & grandchildren & 2 wonderful 15+ year relationships ,along with living in Africa,America & Oman ,whilst travelling to around 60+ countries,I empathise with the burn out, loneliness and need to recover. As a man it's also important to give credit, respect & time to your own feelings, not just others in your life. This is now more of a given,but,men/boys you have a right to feel & a good cry can be super cathartic. Be it from exhaustion, anger, general upset or watching a movie or a RUclipschannel. Thank you both SO very much for sharing your journey, its been a privilege & pleasure watching you grow, both in confidence and as a couple, kudos. May I wish you both the VERY best in the future,I so hope that will include children as I think you will be absolutely superb fathers, each bringing your own unique contributions to the table. Rest, heal and enjoy chilling out at home - after everything I've done,it's still my favourite past time,a great sleep in your own bed, your favourite food in the fridge/kitchen and a night in with a movie/ series - though like you I've been blessed to see/experience some amazing things; home is where the heart is. Obviously will be looking forward to your notifications and thank you again for the immense amount of vicarious pleasure I've had following your adventures, but,now recharge. Wishing you both all health & happiness, now & in the future💥👊👏👏👏💙💙👌❤💯👋⭐'s💯👋✌
Love to see your videos on YT. Thank you for sharing your experiences here. I wish you two can introduce the cities, towns and special places your home country - Sweden in the future :)
I've enjoyed your videos. Your opinions are honest and what you guys say is heartfelt. I wish both a good rest and recover from the strain and tiredness. Please consider doing this again when you regain the mental energy with passion for travel reignited. I also love the honest and unbiased reviews of Nonstop Dan.
You boys are so sweet and brave.....super good with what comes next and y'all taking care of yourselves and love your manifesto....I'll be here to watch when you post whenever /whatever...Cheers!
Love you guys! You've been so down to earth in your travels and care for your followers like me. Your personal persuasion and your private life is none of my business and you document your love and friendship in a way I admire. Thank you so much for sharing your travels with the world. I've learned so much especially during covid. Keep sharing with us the beauty and friendship from around our world ❤
Sorry to hear about the long covid. Good for you to push forward despite your illness. I hope you can take time now to rest and recuperate. We want you to be fresh for your new adventures!
Thanks again for an awesome video! We enjoyed the entire 100 country journey and enjoy your videos in general so much! We look forward to the next chapter/ season 2 of Oskar and Dan! 😁🥳🇿🇦
It’s good that you are putting quality over quantity in your travels. Going somewhere and not enjoying it is never good. Hope you can have more fun in your travels in the future!
It will be exciting to follow the next developments of your channel, in accordance with your statement of intent. Thanks for all the content and it will be a pleasure to follow you at a new pace ! All the best !
Hey glad to see you guys hit 100 - me too - my last was Barbados in December. Still travelling though. Will probably hit 105 this year. Keep going - your vids are great and gave me lots of ideas! Totally bang on about the first 100 or so being the easier countries to visit - same with me. I have given upon some and others I amjust not interested in wasting my time and money on when everyone says they are BORING. ....like Brunei.
Love the new mission statement - well done you two! I’m a big advocate of slow travel…for many reasons: sustainability and cultural immersion to name a couple.
I've enjoyed all of your videos. You've inspired me to travel more now instead of waiting for retirement. I would love to travel with you guys again as that trip to Morocco was undoubtedly the highlight of 2022. I had the time of my life!!! Best of all to you both!
Omg Oskar and Dan...!! Anyways, just love you both to bits . Don't know 'bout anyone else but I thoroughly enjoyed your travels and the little anecdotes you had to share all the way...😘😘💞
If I may say so, I think you guys and your content have gotten more fun, more interesting, and even more candid as you go. I know you've got burnout a bit at the moment, but still, this particular video kinda caps off the genuineness and sincerity that I enjoy from you guys! Hang in there, get some rest, and I'm sure I'll stay subscribed no matter which directions your channel goes!
Hmm thanks guys . Only recently I have been watching Dan's solo experiences. It certainly interesting to see you both put your opinions on certainly things to us. You touched on two specific areas when travelling of which I shall bear in mind. Thankyou Dan and Oskar. Keep bringing great videos ✈️
What an inspiring conversation! Happy to see you both so reflective as you ponder lessons from your years of travel. My guess is that you wouldn’t change a thing. New Zealand is living proof. As much as you enjoyed it, you enjoyed it all the more for the extraordinary perspective you’ve gained from 100 countries. And, maybe, it had a tad more impact for being the culmination of your goal. I think you’ll be ready to explore more new places after you’ve taken your well-deserved break. It’s inspiring to see your clear purpose as you move ahead. Most of all, I’m concerned about your health and verrry happy to hear you’ll be taking time to recover and revive. Thank you for bringing up the neglected topic of Long COVID. Especially hoping that rest is the best cure. No need to be ashamed about favoring the USA. Small “d”democracy has won the last two elections. The country is refinding its soul. It has led the fight to protect democracy and human rights in Ukraine and revived human rights as a priority - even in America! We have our share of crazies, but so does everywhere nowadays. Finally, looking forward to following all your next adventures wherever you are!
I love your Chanel, i think is very important that you guys focus on your health, mind and energy more than anything else, remember you’re already halfway through and are very young , there is plenty of time to achieve that dream, meanwhile take a pause to slow walk, smell the flowers and live, then just pick everything up again at YOUR own pace, that’s whats important. Cheers 🥂 from LA.
You two are almost obscenely adorable. It's been a blast watching your travels. As well, you've become very good filmmakers and storytellers. I know decades from now, you'll savor watching these videos and reliving how young and gorgeous you both were. ;-) What a magical memento to have! I look forward to your next adventures. Cheers.
Love your new purpose and mission statement. Quality over quantity and looking after yourselves sounds like the perfect way to move forward. Well done for knowing you have to adjust your lives.
It has been an absolute joy for me to follow you on your travels and live vicariously through you.🤩✈ You've introduced me, as well as many others, to so many new destinations. And, I have immensely enjoyed all your videos! Great work, guys!👏👏 It takes a lot to document everything, narrate, edit, add music, be funny, be cute 😅...aye aye aye. I appreciate you both so much. You two are extraordinary human beings 💖 Wish you much joy as you start a new chapter doing whatever your hearts desire. Even if you take break from creating content, I will still enjoy re-watching all of your travel adventures. Thank you for that. 🙏
Fabulous video. It's one of those "what do you really think" videos. I am so grateful that I have been able to see and share your adventures. Your Herculean goals were achieved. Now it is time to rest and regroup no matter how long it takes. Thank you for your blood, sweat and tears to make this happen. Hope to see you soon. Peace
Blessings to you guys. Your travel vlogs were so comforting during the pandemic. Helped us get through it. Love Nonstop Dan also. Look forward to your future adventures. Take care. ❤️🌈
Thank you for being so transparent and honest to us. It’s completely understandable to want to slow things down a bit, I can imagine it must be very draining having to always be on the move. Thanks for the amazing content and best wishes! ❤
Dear Oskar and Dan, it's been a pleasure watching you guys, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your amazing adventures with us and for being so kind and light-hearted towards your subscribers and followers. I hope you keep posting but most importantly, I hope you get to live your live the fullest. With love, Guilherme. Sao Paulo Brazil.
You guys are magical in the way you communicate and what you communicate. Your honesty, enthusiasm and vulnerability combined with all the incredible videos makes life so much richer for me and those who follow you. Thank you.
Imho. Compassion (Self-compassion included ofc) is a very powerful thing that has altered my whole way of thinking about myself, ppl around me, and life in general. I've been in CFT (Compassion focused therapy) and I never ever thought that would do a thing for me or the way I've been thinking about myself since I was very little. But boy it did! It is as id I completely rebooted my brain at the age of 49... So keeping up with your mental health should be number one. I didn't make it a priority until last year, it's never too late but honestly, Nothing can be more important! That will shine through to everyone we meet. Thanks for a nice channel and it's a way to "travel from home" for me as I stay put in good old GBG, Sweden. :-D 💙💛💙💛
I love this. Everything has its time. The idea of "full-time travel" sounds exciting and privileged from outside, and the overwhelming pressure from people (not to mention the travel industry) is, "you have limited time so you should cram in as much as possible!" But I figured out pretty early that when I found a place I liked, I wanted to stay and get to know it and its people, it's language... Honestly, having the ability and time to do that is a bigger privilege. That privilege is something that we should be aware of and recognize its value. Right now I'm in Saigon, and luckily I have a bit of time, but people keep telling me all these places I "have to" go see. And I get it. But if I try to do it all, I miss out on the real privilege of getting to know the people -some "normal," some extraordinary- in a single neighborhood in the city. Without spending some time here, how would I even know? The world is big, but inside every person there is a world nearly as big.
You guys, I love you so much, and I wish you all the best. Thanks for your honesty and for sharing with us all the highs and lows of nonstop travel. I'm an American living abroad, and I get it. Travel is an amazing privilege but it can also be exhausting. Dan, I hope your long Covid resolves soon, that really sucks. On a lighter note- I live in Morocco! If you're coming back, come hang out with me and a bunch of cool teachers in Rabat!
It's like OUR travelling has also stopped!😏Ncawwwww! Going to miss your vlogs! Hey... life goes on! You do you!😃Well done and all the best with ALL your future plans! Yay!🌈
me and my husband just discovered your channel a few weeks ago. And we had a blast watching all the different places and countries. your Videos were lifesavers during the looong nights with a newborn..:D Special thanks for showing the vegan food everywhere..it's just the best :) All the best for you.guys:)
Thank you both (y’all) for going to one-hundred countries yet taking the time to let us see what you experienced. It has been our pleasure! I enjoyed a video and then could not wait for your next one. There are a few travellers who go it alone but I find that a couple (youse guize) make everything more exciting; more fun. Now is the time to make a lot of wealth based on all you have learned…so far! You might consider writing (with or without a ghost writer) about it all or produce some beautiful videos. The sky is the limit. I wish you both well and hope to see many more episodes of you both enjoying another new country. And now a really intrusive question that I have no right asking you….Are you planning on getting married? I’ve always wanted to be a flower girl and I would love to be yours🤪🙄😉 Best from Colin.
If you would do videos only about Sweden and US I would still totally be here for it. You are so great, I am waiting for the deep dive in any topic you would speak/show us. 😘
Oskar and Dan -- I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed your posts and how I have relied on them for trip planning. My husband and I have scheduled a trip to Turkey including Cappadocia and I must say, I'm a bit nervous about traveling as a gay couple. I've watched with interest, as you have navigated this issue (two beds in some counties, behavior in public, and etc.). I think you two could perform a great service by publishing a guide on the subject.
It has been my pleasure watching all your amazing travel videos and especially knowing Dan from his channel for so many years. I’m definitely looking forward to much more for both of you❤️✈️
Good for you guys. It’s the logistics of traveling that sometimes takes the greatest toll and those challenges start really changing the overall experience. When it becomes a chore and a burden it’s time to reassess and do what’s right for you, your relationship, your family, your future. You can’t sacrifice those things that complete you. Blessings and love 💕 while you rest up.
First, you two are still my favorite travelers. No matter what. And YES, you deserve a friggin break, a rest, a sabbatical, and time to relax and be yourselves. My only request is you keep posting updates on your new lives when you can (not a demand, just a request) so we can keep up with you. Travel? No travel? Doesn't matter. I think we've all grown to love both of you and we only want what you think is best FOR YOU. So, relax, have some fun, enjoy each other. Have a great life together (and you damn well better be together for those of us living vicariously through you).
Guys, seriously, THANK YOU for all your support throughout this whole journey and beyond❤ It's just insane to us that so many people have been interested in our random thoughts, reflections, and adventures around the world. We are so incredibly lucky to have you all here🙏❤

👍 You said it

We do feel more like 75 than 25 sometimes🤣
Yes 100% agree with that, I want them to be my friends hahaha
Did you just assume their genders... They are non binary gender fluid bla bla bla .... Bla bla bla...
You are by far my favourite travel channel on RUclips. Thanks for the great content!
I love this channel. I'm gay and vegan and I love travel, so I was often unsure whether I would be able to visit all the places I wanted to, but seeing you guys do it is really encouraging. Thank you! You give me hope.

As someone who has ME/CFS to someone with long Covid. REST more than you think you need to.
So happy to hear this. Please take the time to relax and recharge. Mental and emotional health is so important. Love you both. Love and blessings from the United States🥰❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much from Thailand
I’m new to your channel. The Saudi Arabia videos drew me in. I was happy to see the United States in the top 3!! Blessings from Connecticut.

im currently travelling now and all your points at the first part of the video hit so true!

So great to hear you are settling down, now. Congratulations! 🎉😊
Cheers.
You guys are amazing! Thank you for everything you share!
Love!
Peace

I loved following you guys. You’re lucky to have each other
Thank you for being so transparent and honest to us. It’s completely understandable to want to slow things down a bit, I can imagine it must be very draining having to always be on the move. Thanks for the amazing content and best wishes! ❤
I'm a nomad and travel very slow...like 3 months in each country on average. That's a good way to not feel so tired of moving.
This was soo good! Loved everything about this Q&A and Dan just made us laugh so much at 12:45 with the “excuse me 🤨” 😂 amazing 💪🏼! Love you guys
You two are still young, you have a long time to travel to many places in your lives!
All the best for this next chapter in your life! 🤗🤗🤗

You guys are magical in the way you communicate and what you communicate. Your honesty, enthusiasm and vulnerability combined with all the incredible videos makes life so much richer for me and those who follow you. Thank you.
What is your telegram address?
Thank you for this very healthy reminder🙏❤️
I love this. Everything has its time. The idea of "full-time travel" sounds exciting and privileged from outside, and the overwhelming pressure from people (not to mention the travel industry) is, "you have limited time so you should cram in as much as possible!"
But I figured out pretty early that when I found a place I liked, I wanted to stay and get to know it and its people, it's language...
❤
You guys, I love you so much, and I wish you all the best. Thanks for your honesty and for sharing with us all the highs and lows of nonstop travel. I'm an American living abroad, and I get it. Travel is an amazing privilege but it can also be exhausting. Dan, I hope your long Covid resolves soon, that really sucks. On a lighter note- I live in Morocco! If you're coming back, come hang out with me and a bunch of cool teachers in Rabat!
Thank you for showing us every real aspect :)
You guys are amazing!!! I have so enjoyed the journey!!!
It's like OUR travelling has also stopped!😏Ncawwwww! Going to miss your vlogs! Hey... life goes on! You do you!😃Well done and all the best with ALL your future plans! Yay!🌈
Won't stop making videos🙏❤️
me and my husband just discovered your channel a few weeks ago. And we had a blast watching all the different places and countries. your Videos were lifesavers during the looong nights with a newborn..:D
Special thanks for showing the vegan food everywhere..it's just the best :)
All the best for you.guys:)
Best channel ever!! Love you guys!!
It so strange to hear both of you speak Swedish with a Gothenburg accent. Love it :)
De la änna gött dock😉
I’m definitely looking forward to much more for both of you❤️✈️
Love the quality over quantity, would be great to see a deeper dive in some places you’ve enjoyed or are really interested in.
Coming right up🙏
i look forward to your adventures as you two continue to gr9w. Some if my fav trips are return visits wjere you really connect with the ieople.
Yuss NZ made the list. Take it easy guys enjoy your break
Please more videos like this 🥹🙌🏼 I really loved the reflections. And insight about the world around us
I remember seeing this channel i believe you were in San Marino which was country number 50-something. And woah! 100 already!?!
Wow, that was a long time ago! Welcome back👋😍
Awesome job you guys.
I think you are both very wise. Sometimes we get so intensely focused on reaching a goal that we miss the opportunity to find other answers.
Is it just me, or it is so cute when they speak to each other in Swedish? 💙
