How to Export a .txf file from Coinbase Pro for TurboTax CD / Desktop (CoinTracker, EasyTXF)

Fun fact, the guide I read on CoinTracker's support page showed a "TurboTax CD" download option which I presume would download a .txf file and not a .csv. (help.cointracker.io/en/articl... - Scroll to the bottom of the page)
So I emailed them about it, and they said they no longer offer it because there wasn't enough demand which really doesn't make any sense because people who use the online version of TurboTax have no need for CoinTracker.
Long story short, both crypto and TurboTax are scams (not legal advice)

Great video. I have to say TurboTax (the PC version) just blows hard. I don't understand how hard it is to make it 1 for 1 with the online one. Jesus christ.

I am right there with you. Paid $80 for Premier CD version and it was so disappointing to see it did not have the same crypto functionality as the online version. Awful.

EasyTXF doesn't work with non-integral counts....like "1.1234" of "ETH" shows up in the .txf as "1 ETH" which is incorrect (.4321 comes out as 0, etc). I've tried to contact the author but the "contact me" part of the easytxf webpage is broken and attempts to reach out on social media have gone unanswered. I still used his tool but had to hand-edit the columns in TT Desktop once imported for the correct amounts.
Why didn't you just download the already .txf file from cointracker? Instead of downloading "TurboTax Online File", right underneath it is "TurboTax CD/Download File". This will download the .txf file. Much easy than doing the steps to convert it. I just did mine.

It wasn't there when I was filing and even emailed them about it. They said they stopped supporting it because no one used it, but I guess enough people must have asked.
